I crashed mine and while the left boot is still in perfect condition, the shin area carbon fiber has a verticle crack and the hinge area has a horizontal crack, can i diy repair this? Idk anything about carbon fiber but was thunking about using fiberglass or epoxy or something to fix it
Good review! Is this boot true to size and it seems like putting your foot inside a boot that has a boot that it would feel tight or snug. Right? How do you think this boot compares to Alpinestar super tech R boots? Also, if you wear the boots without the leather and you have the velcro on top is it noticeable and bothersome? Thanks
The boot is true to size. But it is not worn outside of pants. Your riding jeans, leather pants, or suit go over the boots. They look great IMO with riding jeans.
those boots are not meant to be used with a normal pair of pants, as the dainese racing panths and suit have additional protection once you strap on top
Im in search of a boot that i can wear daily and i have narrowed the list to either Supertech R or Axial beacause of fitment issues. Do you think Axials would offer good protection with a proper riding jean on the street? My main concern is the shin protection as Axials are a bit shorter as you stated.
I wear my Axial Pro In boots with jeans all the time. They are the best looking boots to wear with jeans. And if you measure it against a Supertech R, it’s only short by maybe an inch or two. If the plan is to wear just with jeans, I’d go Dainese as they are better for walking around. You’ll be plenty protected, so don’t worry. Hope that helps.
