Not the best looking bow out there and finish but you sure shoot it well!!! I would love to see you shoot an inexpensive black hunter longbow also to get your opinion, review ect? I always put a 1/4 of an inch hump on the shelf to raise the arrow and a thin leather side plate on the sight window on the riser. The longbow is a joy and fun bow to shoot.
New subscriber. Good informative video with information I can use. ScottinUSA
Archers !
Look very carefully at this Archers release!!He does not pluck the string to the right away from his face! He pulls straight back as he is only focusing on his target. Notice excellent accuracy! Enjoy! 🏹🦌🏹🐗🏹🦌🏹🐗🏹🦌🏹🐗
Well... I do appreciate the kind words but I had some rather bad releases in this video. I work hard on form for years but often I can't pull myself together mentally. Thank you for being so kind though

I’m just pointing out the good stuff!
Great post thank you
Sorry it moved to the next video. I was talking about your wf19 riser.
All good.
Great video, love your archery content. So much useful and interesting info.
Do you still shoot your Border Tempest? I'd be interested in buying it, or maybe a trade for some Long MK Zest limbs in 46lb? I'm in the UK.
Thanks for the kind words. No, I don't have it anymore. Took some financial hits over the past year and had to let some stuff go. I'd love the zest limbs but I'm happy with what I got
@@woodsmansfinest3814 That's a shame, I'm sorry to hear it. I hope things are looking better for you so far this year. Yes the Zest limbs are awesome, super fast and quiet. I'm sure the MachX are just as sweet. Thanks for the reply and all the best.
@@mrnice752 cheers mate. Just working my butt off to make all projects work. The zest are my dream limbs but will take quite a while until I can get some... Might just sell all my stuff and hone in on 2 setups. Let's see. Cheers
Super cool
Thank you!
Great overview, that looks like an awesome range to practice on. Hopefully we meet up before the zombies take over.
Just have to ask, how fast does this combo throw the 11GPP’s?
Any plans to share some from your trad hunts?
Around 175fps. I did share some footage in the last video. Trying to keep hunting content off this channel as it is also my carving and outdoor brand and not everyone is into hunting. Liked the video?
Thx, enough speed and confidence when it matters is the most important.
Can relate to the tinkering part, but after trying several ILF options I settled on my Border Covert Hunter. Plenty of factors to sort out even without all the adjustability 😊
@@thorstenfleck-baustian8775 true that
Nicely done. Great review
Thanks
Had a Titan riser just like that one. Great riser paired with black max limbs, shot great never should have sold it, but I wanted a new longbow. Have a Samick discovery with carbon foam limbs now most consistent shooting recurve that I have ever shot. Enjoy your videos.
I've had both of those aswell. Great setup for the money. The older BlackMax limbs by Samick were great limbs
Yes! More grip to tips. Been waiting for these. Great video 👍🏼👍🏼
Cheers for the feedback. More are in the works! Spread the word. I can use all the support I can get!
Really enjoy this video. I had a titan just like that with tradtech carbon foam limbs on that I never should have sold. Painted it and stripped then repainted etc and put on all sorts of grips and attachments. Took to different places and going on hunts with it. Watching this video brings back so many memories.
I hear ya. I also run some medium BlackMax extreme carbin on this riser for a 60" bow and it rocks allthoug I like longer bows. It really is the AR of bows... Without trying to give it a negative vibe.
@@woodsmansfinest3814 no negative vibe at all.. Have an AR and it works (even though a bit boring).
Fortunately I now have and use my black wolf riser for everything the titan does. A lot lighter so more forgiving if I have bad shoulder alignment (but TBH I should just fix the shoulder alignment). If I put more weight on the riser and close my eyes I really can't tell the difference.
I'm thinking of going back to a recurve. So much to learn about newer bows compared to my Mathews compounds. Going on a Spring bear hunt in June.
I'm all for it mate! THE PUSH is the platform to check out for that! I'm also looking to gear up for blackbear and this recurve is a hot contender. With the fixed crawl and the point on distance of just 25yards I feel like this setup would be perfect. Check out my other videos too if you got the bug! Cheers
