This movie is about two brothers, Tiger Wong (Nicholas Tse) and Dragon Wong (Donnie Yen). Both Dragon and Tiger were abandoned by their father as children, and their uncle took them in at his martial arts institute, Dragon Tiger Gate (hence, the title of the movie). Dragon leaves the gate at a young age to live with his mom, but she died, so he ended up being a bodyguard for a gang boss (the guy with the bleached hair). Evidently, they are caught between what seems to be a gang war. There is too much to explain in one comment and plus I dont wanna spoil the movie but you should know that there are about three more fight scenes: the restaurant fight scene, the baseball field fight scene, and the final fight scene. I am very glad you are reacting to this movie, and I highly recommend you watch the movie to its entirety. P.S. Hong Kong movies, like this one, are mostly improv when it comes to the fight scenes so that's why it seems so real plus stuntmen are paid to take hits.
