So like most Texans I'm no stranger to the Big D, and I do mean Dallas. But what about its neighbor, the less huge but still big, FW. Well get ready, because cow town here we come. It's Fort Worth!

How do you tell a business man from Dallas & Ft Worth? Business man from Dallas has a $5000 suit on. Business man from Ft Worth has a $5000 pair of boots on.
🤣
That’s actually true lol. Why I prefer Fw over dallas any day of the week 😆
I have had my fair share of Love Shack burgers. And it's an experience that is usually accompanied by pretty good music. Glory, honor, peace.
I was born there, but moved in 94 when I was 5. Raised in Harlingen (near Brownsville) til 2010 and been mostly in Austin since. This is the first time I've seen an in depth look into where I was born. Thank you!
Totally different world than the RGV experience.
Ofcourse i mean we are like the 13 largest city in the usa and 1 million pop
@@TherealKino8 for sure. I'm just saying I don't remember my time there but I know my surroundings changed completely from there to the valley
The atm robbery had me chuckling. Who comes up with this foolery?
Yep, one his funniest skits….😂🤣
Angelo's Bar-B-Que try the ribs next time you are in FT Worth !!
Bro, your channel is awesome!
Love the video. Fort Worth has so much more:
Fort Worth Zoo, Botanical Garden, TCU, The Shops at Clear Fork, Firestone and Robertson Distillery, Bass Hall and much more.
Those museums are no joke, I went in 2009 and I still rememeber how expansive they were
🇸🇴🇵🇱
Great episode Chet. I love Fort Worth!!!
I remember this one...good stuff
Born and raised in fort worth, I love it so much here. I can't imagine another more culturally rich city that could compare to what here offers.
i hear people say joe t s is not as good as it used to be.
Margaritas are great
Every time I go to Dallas it’s just a nasty gross place. I’ll take downtown Fort Worth
Chet I never thought to mention this before and I have a feeling you know this but did you know the distance between Orange and El Paso is longer than the distance between El Paso and Los Angeles. IDK, when I found that out as kid, my Texas pride grew pretty strong. I just thought about it because of your old school intro :)
Chet's day off. Rad
Thank you Chet.
Tim love has plenty restaurants around. Atico is pretty cool at the top of the Marriott on main.
In-qurry lol. Some things never change 🌵🙏🏻
Try Off The Bone in Forest Hill next.
You are around the corner from my house and you haven't been to the original Ricky's BBQ right here of 28th st and azle?!! Just a few minutes from the stockyards this was a famous person BBQ place coming out this way. You will see once you actually get there!
FW has Clown Burgers. Best anywhere.
And La Fe Bakery has the best Burritos anywhere. Trust me because I had offices in FW for 20 years and ate at every Mexican restaurant I could find. 28th and Main has a great place.
2022 the population was 956,709
stockyards + some museums + rodeo
1:32 was this video released in 2010 when Fort Worth’s population was 750,000? It’s 920,000 in 2020
Some estimates in 2024 have Fort Worth at just under a million. It’ll prob be at 1 million plus by the end of the year!
Why didn't Kellie have a cowboy hat, Chet what do you have against gingers?
Chet, You have to take the hat off inside most all buildings. There is such a thing as Cowboy Hat Etiquette.
Uh…I can tell you’re not from around here.
@@Batten-jc6ws Uh.... Good guess, but wrong. Every real cowboy over the age of 16 knows there is hat etiquette, we never told all the drugstore cowboys about it because we wanted them all to be easily identifiable when they go out in public with their hats and we can make fun of them.
@@rmartin2763 OK, Roy Rogers...you can get back to strumming your guitar on the lonesome plains while the herd sleeps. Or…you can just keep watching UA-cam clips of old John Wayne movies on your iPad in your mom’s basement and educating the drugstore cowboys on hat etiquette in Fort Worth. I’m guessing it will be the latter.
@@Batten-jc6ws Wow, sounds like someone is butt hurt over the drugstore cowboy comment, you must be able to relate. Another group that is highly mocked and made fun of in Texas is the large group of middle-aged guys going into their local Harley dealerships to purchase a bike and a leather jacket so they can begin their weekend fantasy of being part of their imaginary biker gang.
@@rmartin2763 Ha! I’m sorry, but I cannot relate to you drugstore cowboy types. Nor can I relate to Harley posers. You sure have a lot of heated opinions on other folks. Did Daddy not pay you enough attention or pat you on the head and tell you what a good little buckaroo you were? OMG…did he touch you in one of your private areas? That’s gotta be what it is to spark this much anger. Or…just hear me out…maybe you actually liked it and that’s why you’re obsessed with bikers and cowboys. Are you one of the members of the Village People? Ha! That’s it!
If you're not from Ft Worth and under the age of 50, then Joe T. Garcia's is not for you. Drive 2 minutes south to El Asadero's for 100X better Tex-Mex food.
Shouldn't this be S3 E1?
