I am 50 years old now, and still love the 80's boards, can't count the number of boards I had back in the 80's. It was a lot, wish I still had them all in mint condition, because I would be in quite the small fortune. My first board was a schmitt stix rip saw, had 3 vision john a grigley's one was a grigley3, had a schmitt stix lucero2( before it was black label) vision old ghosts, tracker lester kasai, blockhead sick sense, to name a few, had more but don't remember what they were.
Love the clear for when you want to see that top graphic or for laying down a bunch of slappies then covering the top of the deck. Thanks for the comment. Cheers👊🏼
Ya...got really lucky with it. It's a 2015 tribute Reissue of his first shape that was released in a limited amount prior to his more recognized shape.
@@80slove I think that Steadham deck you have high on the wall in back of you is so dope! It's really rad! I want one of those in that colorway purple ish. When was that deck re issued and what would you think (apprx.) the price its going for amongst others who collect, not some of the jerks on ebay who really upcharge. I cant wait until I paint my "man cave" walls and then hang up the decks I do have. Like I keep saying, I feel like a kid on Saturday mornings watching my favorite cartoons when I see the unboxing of decks! I dont see them until about a year after your original postings! lol
@@edo-j1784 Thanks for the comment. I have a video of that Steadham...think the deck is from 2008. It's a pretty sick deck. I bought it cheap because it was used but I dig the character/wear so was happy to get it. As far as pricing...unless you get lucky in a Facebook group or on a buy and sell site...you'll be paying quite a bit for a 2008. Not near as much as other Powell Peralta riders but it still pulls some decent coin. I've found some good deals on eBay as well...you just have to buy smart and realize that there are a lot of extra fees to sell on ebay so they have to charge quite a bit more. @@haroldmclean3755 I did...I used them towards a trade for the OG complete Iron Cross. A three for one but well worth the trade. I did a video on the Iron Cross if you're interested...really unique deck.

I would definitely recommend joining some Facebook groups...I've scored some real gems including my 2005 Harris, 2008 Steadham, 2015 Underhill, 2014 Ray Barbee Ragdoll and others. I have also seen success on FB Marketplace, Kijiji and Craigslist.
It is indeed. It was a tribute deck to Underhill in 2015 with his first shape before the one we all know. Apparently is wasn't a big run of the first shape then they quickly pivoted to the familiar shape.
Originally they reissued the underhill cross/chain deck in black, red, and pearl white, then they did the limited version of 100 decks in a brownish stain color with the gold cross/chain that were signed by Ray, idk why they did the one you have on a different shape but it looks cool
I had a chance at the red as well...this one is a tribute deck. Here's a quote from the Powell-Peralta site: "We knew that in remaking a deck for Ray, it would have to be something truly special. We scavenged through our vault and found that rare gem. It was an original shape with the artwork to fit. One of a kind, part of a very limited run made prior to the more famously known blunt-nosed Ray Underhill Pro Model."
@@80slove that’s cool, I always wondered why they made that one a different shape from all the rest, I still have the red/white/ and signed deck, I skated the black one and it’s hanging in my friends basement, I missed this one when it came out
I haven't personally had one warp after riding it but I can definitely see it happening. I've seen many and have had many Powell Reissue Decks twist/warp that I haven't rode. I just saw a post on one of the FB pages where a guy was trying to straighten a deck. I'll try to find it and post the link.
