Update: In this video i discuss some theories on the loan farm and mechanics relating to loans. How have you navigated through the 2031 player value crash? I have reported this on the forums and have seen someone else complaining about it too, but can't see that this is being resolved. I am mid-way through a pentagon challenge, so just wondering if if it game breaking or if it improves over time? I felt sorry for myself doing a pentagon watching my player values crashing, but it is no way as bad as being hit during a build a nation save!

Your new system is pretty close to my own approach. The triple D(C) is so incredibly strong and when you find WB, those are brilliant. Though I prefer CWB(s) over WB(a). I also play with an Anchor rather than a HB.
Biggest difference is that I only have one M(C), playing as AP/DLP and instead go with two wingers in the front and a PF/AF/CF in the middle. I find the WB-W-combo on both sides with a playmaker in the centre as a linchpin extremely strong.
Hey Matt or anyone else that knows. What sort of Newgan pack are you using, I know it's the NewGAN, but you have so much more variation in your faces. Is there an addon, different pack or am I just being stupid?

I'm 3 years in and can't get a single player out on loan to other Maltese clubs🤦, got about 10/20 ready for the loan farm
Could you get the friend promise to satisfy each other if you sign them at the same moment?
I haven't tested that yet, but we also know that the player doesn't have to be good, you can sometimes get away with signing a random free transfer with the same nationality and then releasing them once the promise is done
I have done that before and unfortunately it doesn’t work
I've had it work multiple times in this save already, so it definitely can work, but it may depend on the level you're playing it

Idea for your building a nation save for FM25: Andorra but you actually manage FC Andorra that plays in the spanish league system.
It would give a whole new dynamic to the save since FC Andorra can legally qualify for the Champions League via LaLiga. I don't know if it would become too easy but it would certainly keep things fresh.
