I spent $100 in total and have almost all the characters. Im currently missing 4 of the regular toons. Also I only spent that money to support the game because I want to support the devs.
And you got those people who will call you whale and so many other names because you decide to spend not even 50 dollars(how much I've so far spent). Always bother me because why play a game by a publisher you hate so much.
i agree with both of you guy's takes. just like call of duty or fortnite its just investing in a game/publisher you like since you see long term value. not much different than investing into a kickstart or anything like. Understanding that not everyone sees the exact same value, or have the same means to purchase. i am just actually happy that you cant buy everything like mods and weapons right now.
The thing is, when trading is available, these guys are going to be even more upset if it involved the premium currency like warframe

I'll never understand why people play a grindy game, and pay to skip the grind. At that point your paying to not play the game.
If you don't like grinding and or don't have the time to grind, just play a different game, your wallet will thank you.

I spent around 30 dollars and I unlocked all Ultimates before the new season started along with 3 Ultimate weapons at max modules + abilities.

I spent $300 and got every character, weapon, fully catalyzed 5 characters and 7 weapons. All characters and weapons at max level. A lot of it honestly went towards cosmetics.
Ngl: I spent $200 and only feel kinda bad about it.

@@HoldMyShift_ yeah got ultimate gley with 1 amorphous material each part just like Ultimate Valby and Ultimate Lepic. Definitely hardest to get. Kidding aside while hunting other ultimate descendants was a walk in the park, it took me 80 attempts total for Ultimate Bunny which was the goal at the time, So I guess hunt something else so the game gives you what it thinks you don't want.😂
Is anyone else kind of disappointed with the no option to change the character body size? When I saw what Ajax looked like without the armor, I was prest; a normal sized guy with the exact same body type as all of the male decadents. Plus Not a big fan of the female body size either, yet I shouldn't complain since it's a new game.
i actually would like if they can also allow us to alter specific clothing lengths and what not to a fault. or even color / size base character skins

Tbf I'm pretty sure that Ajax don't look like that that's just the case the game wants to sell more skins so they copy and paste the skin onto other characters to make more cuz most of the base skins body types are diff for the most part like if your going off male characters from big to small example. Ajax......kyle....eziemo......blair....

Unpopular opinion but I'd rather work and extra 1-2 hours irl than farm for something for 40 hours in game just to be able to say I got it for free. Better use of my time

Just wait till you full level them with crystallization catalysts. In honest terms not just to say they are easy to get.. it takes away from the experience

Just find a reasonable reactor for each of your descendants, save the preset and delete the rest. Delete all weapon except for the ultimates, delete all reactors except the ones selected and that's it. If you want to spend, spend it on skins.
I look at it like this. It's entertainment. Just like going to the movies. Except it keeps giving you entertainment. So I spend money to enjoy it
The thing is though: The FUN of the game IS the climbing and grinding for power. Once you got everything the game is over.
There's no real great end game or anything.
I'm F2P, got two Ultimate Descendants pretty easily. And getting them WAS the goal and fun of it.
After that the game diminished a lot in terms of fun.
So buying them only SHORTENS your time of enjoying the game for me 😵💫
I'm buying a skin and the battlepass to support the game though, but other than that I honestly don't get why you'd pay to progress in a game.
If you paid to win, then where's the fun after that? There's no end game really 😂
I spent around 50$ and I have everything, all Chars, all Weapons and the ultimate weapons are all upgraded 4 times for the special abilities. All my chars have an energy activator, except the chars where ultimate versions exist and all ultimate weapons got an energy activator. 14 of my weapons are fully build, also 7 of my chars. But I have around 800 hrs in this game.
Honestly, I'm probably around that much spent too. I bought every Ultimate Descendant with Ajax being the only 1 discounted. I also bought a ton of skins for the characters too lol.

I’ll admit. I’m a huge whale. I planned on buying every ultimate descendant but I only ended up buying ultimate Gley once I realized how easy it was to farm for the characters. I’m a strong advocate of “my time is worth more than my money” I only bought battle pass upgrades and all the base characters. I have every character and almost every gun. Basically I’m waiting for more cosmetics to come out. Great game all you need is patience and you will get everything you want in a timely manner
My take on this topic coming from warframe also having a L4 account I drop money for convenience and cosmetics. this game is new so if your going to spend money I recommend buy the biggest credit pack you can buy grab the Sharen pack an Enzo pack then grab Hailey. Now you got all your areas for farming covered. Now start farming your Cats and EA’s in the beginning when building your characters if needed to speed up the process speed up your build times don’t buy the Cats or EA’s. With the three characters I mentioned a bunny you will very quickly have everything you need to build/craft everything else in the game. This method could shave weeks off your farming to get rolling and allow you to truly start enjoying the game.
I spent $470.00 currently on nothing but skins! I've spent tons more on my Girlfriend's clothes just so I could look at her dressed nice! So what difference does this make? Why not! I don't feel at all ripped off cuz the Unreal Engine 5 graphics Is sick! It's all about perspective! Coming from single player games you can net a game, and their dlc's pretty much costing you easily a hundred! Plus, I'm realistic! I ain't no cheap ass, that I can't understand supporting dev's and complaining about it! What you think? Their gonna make a game for free, just so you can play? Get real! And those out there, stop complaining! Anybody driving a car, better expect to pay for the gas! No free ride in this world! That's why there's jobs!

Only thing I bought was Hailey, ngl I’m not even mad about it because I got one of the best descendants and overall I wasn’t about to grind 6 days and 6 nights for her. You don’t have to buy a thing I just value my time tbh
Its fine to pay for her. People buy dumb costumes on fortnite weekly. At least this is an entirely new character.
Good vid. Nice to hear your opinion. As a new player dungeons are so beyond my DPS ability, the nerfs make it so that I will be able to complete one sooner than later. Also I quit destiny because the mechanics had mechanics. This isn't a ultra competitive game and shouldn't be trying to be one.

I only spent money on two characters, after that I just slaved on the game to earn the rest even gley. I’ll still do it for skins but characters themselves I pretty much got from either grinding with my friends or grinding solo
i agree most of it can be tackled solo. i was aiming to speed run to give good build opportunities that were different from whats out now. just an investment for my channel

I actually is kinda ok to pay for the game , it does repay you with reward with good amount . Usually I more focus on booster and the unique skin for the game .
Honestly the only things I’ve purchased was the 20 skin for my ult bunny and another for battle pass. The rest it was a lot of patience of a hard grind for the ultimate skins. I own them all now and close to hitting MR.22 … tbh I got bored because i feel like “ whats the point in grinding now ?

@@fountedakis The reason why I'm afraid to delete a non ult. Is because I came from warframe. Years later they introduced a system, where you needed to sacrifice them to make their prime versions better.

To be fair, the release of the class items and ergo sum is the only reason I’m I think 695/700 with full postmasters 😅

Lol my mastery rank is 16 and I've only spent 20$ on this game. I don't even have the battle pass, my question is why are you keeping ultimate reactors with blue attributes? I see in the video all your reactors have a heart icon, they have added different shapes like 💎, ❤️, 🍀. I'd suggest you farm reactors with weapon mechanics profency in gold as attributes to level up the weapons you don't use while you farm.

I farmed ultimate Lepic and ultimate viessa in one day wasn’t to bad of a grind at all. The only one I purchased was ultimate bunny and now I feel kind of shafted when I found out it wasn’t too bad of a grind for the 2 other ultimates characters. I’m working on ultimate gley and ultimate valby now and have a few parts each for them and haven’t done much of a grind yet
id say keep it up and dont fall into the trap of paying! i only did this to give future content for you guys! as of right now, Ult gley will be the hardest to get. after that your are in it to win it!!

@@HoldMyShift_got my ultimate gley yesterday surprisingly not that bad. I farmed 2 amorphous patterns for my last 2 pieces and got the last 2 after opening 8 of them. Now on to Ajax which. Seems to be my thorn 😂

It is a bit ridiculous when you can't get a certain part of Said gun ...and then you realize you need to do it 4 more times ...that system is completely stupid

If you're farming a single item at a time you'll lose your mind... I farm amorphous patterns that has atleast 2 out of the 5 items I want that way I'm always getting something I want.. also dont track items when your opening amorphous patterns, I found the items I want never drop when I'm tracking them but when they're not tracked I usually get them within a few patterns...
the gun grind is kind of crazy because the enduring legacy's 10% item is hell.. especially if you dont already have one to help the farm lol! but i kind of started liking it for a bit. my 2 cents is i feel like they should throw in more variety. i like starting with dungeons but dont like its basically a must to use bunny for efficiency then use like your bossing character to 10 second farm the boss. after you start killing them too quickly, for me i start to lose the end game appeal. however, the grind to that point is fun to me. like one guy said, i did used to play runescape as a kid so i was conditioned early lol

Anyway can confirm that this is the type of game that once e you have one mobbing character for all content, pick Bunny, and once you have one Good bossing character for all content, pick Hailey, you will realize that parts start to build up over time at 300 hours you will probably have most stuff just by playing a lot, like right now I probably have 20/30 energy activators I’ll never use,
my gold is around 160m I think and I have basically everything in the game around 500 hours I have lots of copies of ultimate characters but you only need one,
first ultimate Bunny i farmed for 2 weeks straight and now I just get them lol
my point is it’s pain at first but literally once you get the ball rolling it’s not going to stop.
The 5 characters everyone needs Enzo, Sharen, Bunny, Hailey, Lepic, Gley,
Best weapons, Greg’s reversed fate, Thunder cage, Enduring legacy,
Piercing light, Afterglow, Nazeistra’s devotion, Perforator,
Use Tamer until you can build better weapons.
if you pick anything else at the start you will have a much higher time farming basically everything, but you can still play anything else if you want to of course you can.
I didn’t read all this but your recommendation on characters is literally the same… I did this for content and because I have a job that takes most of my time. With a couple of hours a day. If I want to farm guns I can. If I want to get the catalyst because the reward structure is ass.. that’s another thing. I’d rather not farm the haven or old mystery if I already have everything.

my comment says more for recommendations than your video did and was about the fact that once you play for long enough over time you will see all the money you wasted because stuff that seems hard to get now drops easily, when someone has 10 full sets of bunny after buying her they may regret it.

Pick Lepic as starting character, build Bunny,
use Bunny to farm Sharen and Enzo,

i didn't read it out of maliciousness, at the time i was at work and wanted to get though everyone's comments without rushing. however, initially for yours i did in which i noted i didn't read it all but i read the first paragraph and then the items and guns you noted.
But to comment 2 i agree and mentioned this to a fault. i said to farm Sharon but if anyone doesn't mind to spend that $5 (Mostly whales and sharks) then they can start the game with the best experience by using Lepic (starter pokemon pick), then you get bunny as the main mission quest so the only real one to go for first is Sharon. which is just up to the player.. understanding that depending on what you grind you have to go for crystallization catalysts first. i tried showcasing a bit of
Hailey but she is 900 premium as well and is technically the best descendant as you too have mentioned.
i didnt speak on Gley because she is now overshadowed by Hailey's 3 ability and weapons are not anything in the payment option which is good so i tried to keep it on topic in that regard.
To me the biggest issue will be the catalysts because you need at least 8 for each weapon or descendant. so even if we do have fast exp farms now, the catalysts will be gatekeeping everyone.
Also, i am a content creator, so its never money wasted if its for content. which this has succeeded in doing

Gley is actually as good as Hailey is it depends on content for example Gley is a better character for smaller bosses because she doesn’t get locked in place like Hailey does, she can deal with ads much better as well Hailey is only better for big bosses and it depends on the boss,
but harder to build and use so again fair point, I tried to make it clear that I’m not hating,

I am sorry you shouldn’t want to buy the ultimates in the game. I have been playing just over 3 weeks and I have all the normal descendants save Hailey and Yujin but only one part away on both. I have 3 ultimates and need only a part or two on the others. There is no need to spend money on anything other than descendant slots and maybe inventory slots.
Also the season pass has the seasonal weapon’s final upgrade is locked behind a pay wall.
i agree with your take, the only reason i got any descendants were to prep for my upcoming content. its just the only content i see for this game has been build guides and i think thats stale to put out now. when its going to be just as similar for now

So far I only buy two of the battle pass may I ask what else did you spend money on ? I'm guessing some of those ultimate bundle and some skin but it can't be $1,000 even with that
skins (paint) and 2 bundles. however, it mostly went to presets, inventory slots and crystallization catalysts (mostly) to prep for future videos since i was about a month behind
$1000 wasn't quite enough for C6 {read: COMPLETE character kit} Ganyu. $100 got me COMPLETE character kit {read: Ultimate} Gley.
LMAO! Why haha. This game is fun but not worth anything but the Battlepass. The hero's are easy to farm.

honestly, worth in anything is in the eye of the person purchasing the content. for me, i work a good job so if i have additional funds. ill use them to get crystallization catalysts. however, anyone spending anything over 15 hours on this game should understand the game did its job well enough to pull you in.
