have you seen videos of the west bank? it is much nicer. i am cuban and this reminds me of cuba.... dirty and crowded, but people make the best of it because they have to. Gaza has been under an embargo for years just like Cuba, so i’m sure the conditions are very similar. a lot of that stuff is probably smuggled in by Hamas. it’s sad that people have to live this way. it is nice to see they have really made the best of it though
@deansbian5607 the West Bank would be much nicer. Gaza has a population density 11 or 12 times that of the area of the West Bank. Gaza has done well for itself considering, I agree.

Probably the quality is not good and smuggled in by Hamas but having freedom to sell is really important. in cuba you will be sent to prison for not giving your cows to the government and selling any meat yourself. I know that they are not allowed to have major factories and production in Gaza so they probably are selling stuff that comes from Egypt… I don’t think they are allowed to bring in any major electronics and goods

Israel's control of Gaza via this cement wall is what prevents Gaza from developing a modern economy.
