Keep in mind, I binge watched this series in 3 days, so the emotions never had time to settle. I finally calmed myself down and told myself before I started the last episode, "Alright, it is just a T.V. show, the characters are fake, the situation isn't possible, blah blah blah. I can do this without crying." When Aira/Isla made that face at the end, I had to pause for ten minutes because I couldn't keep my eyes open. How could she smile like that despite what was coming? Hoang Quan Tran It wasn't non stop crying during the episode, just during the sad parts. The thing is, I am very empathetic, what others "feel" I feel 10 times more for some reason. If someone does something embarrassing, most people will face palm or laugh it off if it isn't them, I feel embarrassed to an extreme for that person even if I am not connected to the situation at all. For example, watching the Office (the one made in the USA) I wouldn't just cringe, I would have a full on freakin' embarrassment attack. I have no clue why I am like this either, I just am.

I just watched this hidden gem. I noticed the changes in Isla's expressions, but I quietly just moved on. Then, of course, as comes with some of the amazing anime scripts out there, I got to episode 13, and I was finally rewarded with the whole picture, the final round of the fight, the not-happy not-ending. I had to look for proof that I wasn't imagining her face changing. HTF did I have to stumble across this show? Wonderful. I am sad now. I'm happy I found something so beautiful to be sad about.

I have watched 4 times in a row crying deliciously all 4. This anime is immortal.
True life must be like that, shining until the last moment rather than just surviving through the day. There are things that are more precious than the frivolous things that people always pursue. Isla told me that living is not only about being better and better, but most importantly about being MORE HONEST.

i can definitely call myself a person who doesnt feel much emotion honestly sometimes i seriously dont feel anything but this anime made me cry my ass off at the end and well i was on the verge of crying the entire time i was watching it to be honest i can give two shits about what people think of this anime in my opinion this is a masterpiece that is something special to me and one of my all time favorites
