When you ask him about why he is in the zone he literally tells you that he is wanted for murder so he went to the zone so he cant get arrested.

It quickly became one of my favorite series of all time, and that was only about a year ago. One playthrough from ME1 to ME3. The only other time I’ve played, was the ME3 multiplayer. I should add that ME2 is probably my favorite with the exclusion of certain moments in 3. So I highly recommend playing it. It’s worth it.
