Thanks NAK, this is quite an important lecture I think you have done. To restrain ourselves from going from one "hi" to another. To go "from one hi to another hi" is like the age old proverb of money being at the root of all evil; such as when people say that they just want to be happy in life. It must be a fallacy and the only solution is to be content but how much do have to have to be content, is there a minimum requirement that needs to be satisfied so that it wont impact on our deen? Who knows, maybe we should become satisfied when we have the basics and no more i.e. food clothing and shelter and forget the rest so as not to distract us from the akhirah.

I feel sad and depressed sometimes for 10 years , but I try a lot to stay away from big sins . Why I feel that way , I pray, but I still feel bad . Is that my mektoub ?
If you constantly free depressed, along with prayer, you should go and see a psychiatrist as it could be an imbalance in your neurotransmitters. He can evaluate you and tell you if you are just sad (in a normal way) or if you need a medicine. Do not think of this as taboo, just go check out a Dr.

ive had this videogame called overwatch for about a year, I played it because ive been playing videogames all my life. ive gotten better at the game and now I want to make money off it, like streaming/being a pro and I wanted to know if its haram or not to take a game to that level and make it a job. I used to put 12 hours a day of watching my gameplay studying what I can do better to win more efficiently so i can get to the highest rank and get scouted by semi-pro teams and inshallah be a pro gamer. He gets it from tafseer that is in Arabic and/or Urdu. Because he is a Muslim brother who has had the opportunity to study more than us; if we want to confirm what he is saying, we will have to study all that he has studied. So we have to trust our fellow Muslims and Allah knows best.
