    The fake wood looks and feels like fake wood? It's open grain real walnut. One of my favorite features of the 1794 and Capstone.

      Yikes. But doesn't change the way it feels

    Just traded in my Denali Sierra which everything expensive broke for the 1794 hybrid. Its a gorgeous truck. Plus, its much faster than the Denali. I got the tan interior with the built in gun safe. Love it

    I ended up going without the hybrid option, I really didn’t want to loose the under seat storage in the back row.

    For whatever reason this video was giving me Red Dead Redemption 2 vibes and I love it.

    Spot on review! I have a 2023 Tundra SR5 with no TRD. Blah. After driving it a year, I'm trading it in for the 1794 with TRD for exactly the reasons you noted. Thanks for your excellent review.

    I've driven both I-Force max and TTV6 Many times..To get a feel... I perfer without the Hybrid.. Hybrid has slight lag and I don't really feel the true driving...I've owned Toyotas for years GX's, 4runners...I plan to get TTV6 model Platinum ..w/TRD off road package..

      Interesting since the whole point of the hybrid is to eliminate lag via the instant torque of an electric motor, BUT... if you like the standard engine more you'll certainly save some money!

      That was my exact thought as well...I even text drove the Sequoia Felt the same lag..sometimes felt like was waiting for second to get moving ??? @@jax1079

      Curious if you noticed this as well - I’m 6’3” and the first thing I noticed when sitting in the Tundra was the low visibility height. It feels like the windshield is really short, and your eyes line up with the headliner. Did this bother you at all?

    • @m.1161
      @m.1161 9 місяців тому

      @@erving123a I noticed that with lots of Toyotas in general. I have long legs and a shorter torso relative to my height and I still have some issues with that. Your issues with the tundra make me nervous about looking into a 2nd gen sequoia as my next daily.

    • @jax1079
      @jax1079  9 місяців тому +1

      @@erving123a I think there’s some truth to that. You sit high relative to the roof, which is an issue with body on frame trucks with good ground clearance, I think. It doesn’t bother me personally (Sequoia review out this Saturday, by the way!), but I’ve always enjoyed driving smaller cars so I think I’m kind of numb to it, actually. 😂

      @@m.1161 Drove the 2024 Sequoia about one thousand miles or so over the course of our week with it (to Disney and back) and it didn’t bother me, for what it’s worth.
