I share the same frustration about the remote start. I always use the app, because the remote is so tedious. You can change the keyless entry in the screen to unlock all 4 doors! I did that immediately for the same reason lol
Very nice looking truck Tyson. As you said, the Toyota holds its value well, and in spite of a few small things, is a great ride. I hope Ashley enjoys it.
Hey workplaytv a nother great video on your channel that is a good looking truck merry Christmas from my family to your family u definitely my favorite UA-camr ever keep up the amazing work
Tyson , gave you a thumbs up on video & also subscribed. I've been shopping around for a new 2024 pickup & saw this video of the Toyota Tundra Limited . I've been a GM buyer the last 25 years but I'm so afraid of buying a 65-70 thousand Chevy TrailBoss LT w/ all the lifter problems & that DFM in the 5.3L & 6.2L which I keep hearing are having those engine problems . It doesn't seem like Toyota is having those issues & glad they are made here in San Antonio, Texas. I see you have 2 Tundras now & seem to have no problems w/ them. That 3.4L twin turbo V6 engine has way more HP & torque than the 5.3L Chevy engine & even gets better gas mileage . The Tundra Limited your wife drives(I believe that's the Gray Metallic one) w/ the 5.5' bed w/TRD is exactly what I want.Im trying to build one online but these TRD pkgs are confusing. We definitely want the TRD & the Panoramic Sunroof(did your sunroof come in a pkg or was it a single item add-on) on this Limited Tundra w/ V6 twin turbo(no hybrid). If you still have your window sticker could you message me the pkgs. or accessories you had on this truck. It seems there's 2 different TRD options on this Limited trim . They have little abbreviations on the window sticker that are to the left of the pkg or accessory and then the description & then the price is listed. I know the prices are probably gonna be different from Canada & US where I'm from but I would think the options & pkgs. abbreviations would be the same. Like I said , every option you have on this Limited w/TRD is exactly what me & my wife would like. It's gonna be weird driving in a Toyota Tundra but I don't wanna be screwed by Chevys engine problems , it's just too big of an investment . Watched 2 of your videos , keep them up , your videos are down to earth and honest. Hope to be hearing from you on those specs on the 2024 Tundra Limited .
I have a Ram 1500 (2019) and it has the fold down flat in the rear. I am able to put a big dog crate there for my pup that chews everything, and have space behind the passenger for my shepherd. Also the rear doors open wide enough to get this crate in there in the first place. My previous tundra not so much. Love the new tundra looks though.
Picked my self up a 24 limited. Traded my 21 2500hd gasser. I like the tundra nice comfortable gets the job done. Just added some bigger ridge grapplers.
I was looking at the new Tundra however I found a like new Mint 2021 Tundra Platinum with the last year of the 5.7 I Force V8 and all the bells & whistles including heated and cooled real leather seats . Not this soft Tex junk on the new ones ! After one drive I fell in luv especially with the TRD exhaust it had on it ! After the drive I purchased it and didn’t even wanna drive the 2023 Tundra ! People have gotten one million miles on this proven drivetrain!
Possible that you bought a 2023 Limited. 2024 Limited TRD is all color matched. I bought the same truck in the same color last month. Grill surround plus door handles are color matched on TRD Limited now. Rear bumper is all black. Weird that you have the red accents on the shifter and steering wheel like TRD Pro. Maybe different in Canada???
Hey dude if you go into settings menu on the screen you can change some of the settings, like pressing door open, you can have just driver or all doors unlock and if you press the auto stop start it should turn another colour which means its turned off👍
Actually if you hold your driver's handle longer then a couple of seconds to unlock the drivers door, it will actually unlock all four doors. It just takes a second or two after the first unlock that it does the rest. I know this as I just purchased a 2024.
OMG ! You better check the plate on the inside of the door. I think those are made in Texas, USA ! 😮 One of my brother's has one of those. He likes it.
Another month, another new truck. One of my friends has a new Tundra for towing his camping trailer. I bet you end up towing something with this, you'll just borrow it. So no hybrid? It adds a bunch of power but I am becoming increasingly wary of these big batteries. I'm an electrical engineer, I develop guided weapons for a living. I don't trust technology. :D
Nice truck! Just curious, did you guys look at the Sequoia or did you wife just want a truck? My wife and I don't want to get rid of our 4Runner but with our second child on the way plus our dog, we are considering a bigger vehicle but we like the toyotas for all the reasons you mentioned.
Didnt know you could get the non hybrid with the digital gauge cluster or is this new for then 2024 model?I have the 22 limited and it wasnt an option at the time.
@workplaytv I know I have one but would of loved to have that option. But my question was I didn't know the non hybrid model cam with the digital cluster for 2024. I just assumed only the iforce max came with the digital gague.
Crazy to me the Toyota didn’t do the color match on all the Canadian limited trd off road models. What a bummer for you all. Hopefully they change that.
Why didnt you get the TRD Black wheels and the tires? with the TRD OFF Road package they come standard in two sizes, 18 and 20 inch . TRD grille, "TRD OFF-ROAD" bed-side decal, off-road suspension with Bilstein shocks, skid plates, mud guards, red TRD engine start button, TRD leather shift knob, aluminum sport pedals, electronically controlled locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select (MTS), Crawl Control (CRAWL) andDownhill Assist Control (DAC).
Thats weird. I also bought a 2024 limited tundra with trd of road package. But my steering wheel doesn’t have the trd emblem. I have it on the shifter and on the start button but not on the steering wheel. Wonder why😢
Was thinking about picking up this same model, but the absence of tow hooks or any vehicle recovery option blows my mind.. that's a hard no for me, especially for driving offroad. In a 4wd pickup, hooks should be required.
Its the oversized grille there ain't a whole lot of protection if you are off roading there is too much room there to stuff something through the radiator. I don't think I could drive a "compact" truck I'd get claustrophobia I'm the same height as you maybe a little heavier thou lol. The upgrade I'd do to the truck would be get rid of those Michelin tires you'll see how well they do in the snow. The Destination XTs would work good on that truck, not sure if its in the budget thou a quick glance at tire prices 437 each, ouch. It won't be long till there is a headache rack and a fuel tank in the back of that truck 😂
Trucks are really the one area where the big 3 dominate, and for good reason. There is so much wrong with these tundra's, I won't leave details as I'm sure the last thing you want to hear is someone bagging on your new wheels lol. Hopefully your wife continues to like it despite it all.
Just wish they would grow on me! I owned 4 tacomas and wife has limited 4 runner and we about to get new Lexus SUV! Big Toyota fan but these trucks are ugly to me? I really wish Toyota would make a HD truck.
I'm a ten year vehicle guy that's why I tend to lean for a base truck trim package. so less options is better for me, the upper trim levels are nice with the extra options, but I'm more interested in how it will hold up. The turbos aren't cheap to replace if they fail is my biggest worry. With this in mind it's almost better to get a 3/4 gas for the long haul. Less restrictions for how a truck can be used, like being able to put a plow on it and having high capacities for payload and towing.
As a new subscriber I started watching all your downloads so far (2yrs worth ) and I come to one conclusion.you need a certified tree cutter to give you a lesson in notching a tree to fall it .the one video of you taking down the hemlocks near the cabin 11 mo.ago the notch was all wrong .
Everyone i know has had horrible luck with them compared to the v8.....All kinds of electrical issues,.......engine failure .......turbo failure all prematurely. Hopefully yours is good but i wouldn't hold your breath
No offense but that's one ugly truck. I think it's mainly the front end but doesn't really look that good from the side either. But that's juat my opinion, if you all like it, great.
Not my cup of tea but keeping the wife happy is what’s most important.
I share the same frustration about the remote start. I always use the app, because the remote is so tedious. You can change the keyless entry in the screen to unlock all 4 doors! I did that immediately for the same reason lol

Good video Brother. Congratulations on the new truck Ashley.

Have the exact same truck and same colour! Absolutely love it!!! Can’t wait to see this on the channel
Nice truck, so happy for ya’ll ❤
I was thinking that the trd off road package took away all the chrome? Did you have to order it special to get it with chrome?
The door unlock feature is in the settings on truck it's just on the wrong setting I love the truck though congrats great watching you grow
Hi Tyson-
Wish you the best in your all-new Tundra.
You can change the unlock setting to unlock all doors in the settings on the 14inch multimedia screen.
I have a Ram 1500 (2019) and it has the fold down flat in the rear. I am able to put a big dog crate there for my pup that chews everything, and have space behind the passenger for my shepherd. Oh oh oh! 😂😂😂 Ashley really wants 40's on it. Maybe a supercharger too lol. Nice truck!

That’s the hybrid
The hybrid is color match and Blacked out and yes in Canada
@@workplaytvno’ in the US you can now get the limited trd off road that comes with color match.
Currently have a 16 platinum. Don’t want to give up the V8 just yet.
Yeah I definitely miss that sound

Nice rig.... yep got to take care of the pups. 😊
The door lock is in the settings. And the remote start you have to hold on the 3rd press.
That's why you're having problems with the remote start.
Congrats on the new truck.
OMG ! You better check the plate on the inside of the door.
I think those are made in Texas, USA ! 😮
One of my brother's has one of those. He likes it.
Nice!! Gotta wonder why no tow hooks!! LOL... :-)
When you grab the door handle, the first beep unlocks the driver door. Keep your hand there and it will beep again and unlock the rest of the doors.
When you grab your drivers door to unlock keep a hold four another 2 or 3 seconds and all doors will unlock.
With the Toyotas, is there a whole plethora of subscriptions you have to buy to use all the apps etc?
No just for the navigation
I just ordered the exact same truck.
Where did you get the hood defector from? I like it.
Dealer
Hold onto driver door handle for about 3 seconds and it will unlock all doors. I think you will like the truck.

2022?

I’d like to know your opinion of it’s towing abilities
Will be testing it
Should have got a Toyota 4Runner.. TRD. I would not trade mine. Nice tho and congratulations.
in the menu system theres an option to unlock all doors when u touch the drivers door handle.

We certainly did but it is an 18 month wait here . Not sure when Toyota doesn’t build more of them.
@workplaytv Wow that is quite the wait! Looks like we will keep the 4runner for a while unless we switch brands!
Didnt know you could get the non hybrid with the digital gauge cluster or is this new for then 2024 model?I have the 22 limited and it wasnt an option at the time.
The limited in 2022 didn’t come with the digital gauge

Hybrid does.

😊👍 I was expecting a Sequoia because of the dogs.
I do remember that the Sequoia third row is pretty lame and the cargo space is weak sauce. Nice truck you got!
18 month wait
Oh! Wow wow wow!!
Good choice then! 😁👍
Nice truck
whats the city and highway mpg you are getting. Thanks.
How come some limited with TRD are blacked out versus chrome trim? Is there an option code for the black wheels and trim?
Yup. Midnight edition
I’m excited for this
I ❤ Toyota, Had em most my life, 75 now ! Can’t afford NOT to buy Toyota!

For sure. Have to go to the aftermarket

what type of gas octane do you put? 87 or 91?
87
