it's saddening that they didn't get it but I guess its understandable, Junsus (Xia) work its really diferent since he doesnt have to worry about broadcasting standards and he express that freedom in his music, i love him.
i'm sad that some of you guys are not so into the song cause i really like Flower compared to Xia's solo work. the whole mv is stunning with various stories can be build and if you actually read the lyrics of the song, Flower is an even more meaningful song. but i enjoyed the video nonetheless! i hope you'll check out JYJ's In Heaven. the full version is the 10 minute video and you should watch that one cause you'll get the story of the song and the mv!
i am so sad this song wasn't their cup of tea :( . I think they came in expecting the usual kpop thing and this took them by surprise. And i'm low key salty BTS gets so much hype and this MV was so neglected lmao but that's just me being a stan. Anyway Gwen and Hugo yassss I knew they would appreciate the vocal aspect of this song
littlemisstoes I haven't even watched the reaction video yet but I'm already kinda sad reading thru the comments. I mean, everyone has different taste but I honestly thought they would like this song. & about BTS... well, I don't really know what to think, since I've been Cassiopeia for almost a decade & Junsu is my bias from the group, but I recently became hardcore ARMY as well. TBH, I stopped listening to Kpop after TVXQ broke up, & BTS is the only group that I felt was worthy of my attention in the 3rd generation. JYJ I loved because they were not afraid to address the issues & 'dark side' of the entertainment industry in their lyrics, & BTS is quite similar in a way. Flower is my favorite Junsu song of all time & one of my favorite Korean songs as well. I fell in love with it in the first few seconds lol. I thought with them being musicians they would love it but I guess I was wrong TT P.S. I think BTS's success is very well-deserved, considering the fact that after they debuted, they kinda raised the game in Kpop. The void left behind by TVXQ was undeniable, especially if u take into account the quality of music released from 2011-2013/14. There were some good songs released in that time, but mostly from non-Big 3 companies. Big Bang was the only group that released solid music (2ne1 as well I guess). The standards of kpop groups around that time kinda dropped to an all time low, especially for SM (&JYP in a sense). When BTS debuted, the hip hop concept was kinda old, since they had Block B & BAP before them, but they gained attention for having meaningful lyrics & intricate choreography. Fast forward to years later in 2016, BTS blew up because they did things differently in a good way. They are still well-known for their choreography, what with them being probably the most covered Kpop group of all time after Fire was released; and their meaningful lyrics still very much play a big part in their music. & this is where they raised the stakes in Kpop. New groups (& even older groups) saw what they were doing & upped their game as well. Intricate & in-sync choreographies on a much higher level are now a thing, as well as groups starting to spread meaningful messages thru their music. I don't deny that BTS takes up much space in the world of Kpop, especially to new fans, but they do it in a good way. They actually reminded me of TVXQ/JYJ, that's how I became a fan. That being said, I'm still hoping new fans would appreciate TVXQ/JYJ since they are the talent of talents, unrivaled even till now. They're such an important part of my childhood & teenage years that I feel sad that they're slowly being forgotten. P.P.S. Ignore the P.S. Lol
@@khfy6sos729 very well said..... not many ppl can appriciate TVXQ/JYJ music.... but their huge impact on KPOP/JPOP and our youth are undefeatable.....
I know it's been four years since you made this comment, but honestly if you think about it, it's likely Umu was just wanting to see whether the reactors were gonna be as receptive to the lore aspect of this MV, which would then warrant a deeper dive into more of his stuff. Also, I just think Umu as a whole was just simply more interested in BTS lore-wise back then, and I wouldn't really put it to her to have to always give an in-depth share of the lore appreciation of every MV, especially when most MVs she's shown them by this point actually don't pose (keyword; pose, at a face value) enough in-depth lore that each reactor would point it out, and therefore show interest. And I guess the one thing I thought after seeing all the comments disappointed about how the reactors weren't receiving the MV as they expected, was just the idea that "Well, then now that Umu has seen these comments, she can create more videos about this artist, and talk about the lore aspect more and see whether the reactors receive it well". If they don't receive it well, then I wouldn't put that to anyone since opinions aren't supposed to be compensated for the sole reason that someone else disagreed.
It's kpop. Dude the rapping is kinda a part of it. I'm annoyed by him now. is he new? 😂😂 Tablo was the one rapping btw. And the lyrics DO go together. The singing and rapping. My favorite theory about it is that the MV and song was about SM and what they did to TVXQ and JYJ. When you look into all that mess then you'll know...
Marlee I feel you. The first time I heard this song I automatically thought how haunting Tablo's voice here unlike to his other songs or collabs which are more upbeat. It suits with the rest of the song especially with the intro.
Yesss, finally. Junsu's Voice is honestly so interesting and different and his songs and videos are so special, so I was really waiting for you to watch something of him.
im a little sad that they didnt like it :( its my favourite song and music video e v e r. but the feedback on it was really interesting from a music aspect
aww. its a pity that you guys didn't really like it because i love this song so much. the first time I'm hearing this, my heart beats so fast like, there's so much going on in there, the mv, the music, and his voice. the orchestra. tablo's rap. its just so overwhelming. and i would listen while closing my eyes, turned up the volume. thank you guys, for this reaction video. 😍😍😍
As a lot of people said before me... I love this channel, I really do, but I wish that you spent a little bit more time on reserching the meaning of this song BEFORE actually showing the video not AFTER, like you did. I'm sorry to say this, but to me it seems just like you are too biased. You showed them 73549014237310 BTS videos about the story, and theories, but then a complex video like this one comes up and you don't explain a single thing about the meaning. It's really disappointing to me. As a Cassiopea it makes me sad to see this reaction, it's just sad. A lot of non-musicians and non-kpoppers spent a lot of time thinking about the mv and the meaning of it, while in this reaction video it seems like nobody even cared. I hope I don't offend you or any musician in the video, because I love this channel, I love every reaction and how they usually speak about the mv AND the music. But this one in particular... It looks like not even you, behind the camera, were interested. It's okay if you're not a fan, but at least try to remember the right pronunciation of the Artist's (with capital A because Junsu deserves it) name. I came to this channel because I was hightly interested in experts opinion on kpop songs, but I don't know what I'm doing here anymore if it's going to be like this. This channel is highly biased.
I agree the channel is biased but everyone has their bias opinions. Plus, the main point of them being classical musicians reacting is to react to the song musically rather than visually
And one more in this video theres a description about the genre, that told that this music is genre, i think them expect this mv is like another kpop song but its not
This video is either liked or disliked. Simple as that. It's not the average 1-2-3 Kpop or American pop video so there's that. Junsu himself is either liked or disliked. Vocally he's one of the strongest in Kpop (which isn't saying much). All in all this is my favorite Kpop video to date because it's different. No, I still have no idea what it means, but it's artistic, well made, and delivered (just like the artist).
Agree. My problem with this song itself is that it looks more like a song that was done to fit the video and not the other way around. Personally, listen to the song without the video is just plain boring. But the song with the video is just incredible.
Bruno Scopel the song itself is extremely powerful, you'd find it even more moving if you understood the lyrics. You should seeing a live performance of it.
@@BS-se4yg I'd say it's one of those songs that are necessarily created for MV or better for live performance, it's not a song to listen to just like anything else, it's an experience and the meaning behind it makes it even more awesome. There are few of these songs in kpop and all of them are from SMTOWN artists, for example, EXO's El Dorado. I know Junsu is no more in SM but it doesn't change the fact that they picked him for a reason, he's an awesome talented performer and his vocals are superior to anything else, that's exactly who SMTOWN artists are. Their live performances and artistry are incomparable with anyone else.
I was going to recommend Kim Jaejoong 'Mine' but if this video confused these people they definitely won't get that one. Disappointed that these music students seem more into mainstream kpop songs. Probably should just do songs like TVXQ 'Mirotic' or 'Wrong Number'.
when your favs disappoint you with their opinions D: (it does go to show how much people judge based on their own conditioning rather than creative appreciation though)
How are they conditioned? These are classical musicians yeah but they are allowed their opinions, sheesh. Stop trying to de-legitimize their views by claiming they are somehow biased just because they didn't like it as much as you do, some of you are so ridiculous with how offended you are by different opinions
Why are you so worked up yourself? They gave their opinion people are free to comment on how they reacted to the song and it's not like it's one or two who felt disappointed, many comments in here practically say the same thing , which means there is some truth in what Richard Hague said.
I waited for this video reaction for so long but it was really disappointing.. This song is a legendary bop wish they watched his performance of this, xia, his voice & talent deserve much appreciation Thanks for reacting tho, it's always fun and joyful to watch your videos ❤️
They didn't 'get it', Maybe they should actually PAY attention to the song and the video and stop talking sooo much crap... They got lost in their little diatribe. At least one person understood the video: The blond kid on the left (Sitting with the girl wearing matching T's). Agree, people should watch the live performance, it seems that artsy MV's are way too much for most people.
How are they talking crap? Don't insult them just because they don't think as highly of the music as you do, you are looking at it from a biased perspective while they are looking through fresh eyes. They were talking about the musical aspects of the song production and they always mainly critique the song in that way, not necessarily the music video or the "message" of the song. These are just their subjective thoughts from a different perspective.
I actually think it's the information and the amount of hype Umu shares with the reactors before they watch the videos. If she could save all the information till after they've watched the videos, they will most probably be less biased. For example, if she mentions X song as her ultimate favourite, they would have higher expectations for what they are about to watch and look out for a particular highlight in the song to try and 'understand' why this is her favourite song. It is something done subconsciously. It is like a preconceived notion before watching. Her introduction of dbsk was actually a bit too basic compared to her introduction (to the reactors) for other groups/songs/soloists they've reacted to. So if the introduction she gives for every video is similar and more void of emotions, it would cause less bias-ness of what the reactors are going to react to in my opinion.
Jaco Kevin and Yunyi DID break down their issues with the music though, and think about it... maybe the didn't find the music interesting enough in their minds to warrant distinct critique hence it would make sense they would get distracted by the intense visuals on top of that fact, most of these guys tend to be more appreciative of unexpected and unique aspects in composition, it seemed like it wasn't very interesting musically to them at least that's how I took it.
Jaco I hear you and don't get me wrong, I actually like the song and I don't find it uninteresting I was just playing devil's advocate and trying to give the possible reasons why they might not have enjoyed it very much I guess it just boils down to personal taste because I do appreciate all the things you mentioned
Guys you really don't need to be sad those people don't like it or understand it. Who cares if they like him or not? People who love Junsu will always love him!
Great video! It's worth mentioning that Junsu is one of the most notable musical theatre performers in Korea as well as a pop artist; his solo stuff tends to be very theatrical. Also the rapper on this track is Tablo!! I'd love to see them react to some Tablo/Epik High stuff someday :)
waited for this since forever!! thank you! please react to tarantallegra, incredible and rock the world too!! also, mine by jaejoong!! :D xia junsu's songs and concepts arent really kpop i think, its unique! please react to his ballad songs too, 11am and yesterday! the mv has a storyline i think, you should read the comments for the mv. :)
i thought months ago, they planned to do a reaction to tarantallegra and flower together.. as months goes by, i saw only flower in the list.. and i'm disappointed for that decision! i even countdown the days for this mv reaction! hahaha at least put In Heaven in!
I strongly recommend you guys to react on Shinhwa's song. They are the longest running group in Korea, which is 19 years and they have many amazing songs , such as T.O.P. , Sniper , Touch(their latest song), Brand New and others.
They always include those modern elements that have not tried by the other groups. For example, they are the only one group who has vogue dance in their cheorography in This Love and future bass in their latest song Touch.
I think because since he is blocked from music programs and tv in general he doesn't have to conform with the restrictions that go with it. He has a certain sort of freedom that comes with it and can basically do anything artistically that he likes and we've definitely seen that in his mvs and his albums have been really diverse genre wise which I personally always enjoy. I can't wait to see what he does next when he gets discharges from he military.
He used to be in SM entertainment, which is one of Korea's biggest agency. Xia was a member of TVXQ, one of the most famous boy groups in Korea's kpop history. He and other 2 members decided to get out of TVXQ, and you know, with SM being the biggest agency, they somehow pressured major TV channels from broadcasting Xia's music. I mean, it's unofficial - but everyone knows it.
I really value the respect they showed given the confusion they felt for the video and music, a lot about us loving JUnsu is because we know his whole background. I was expecting this so much, thank you. I will wait for the TVXQ as 5 reaction even if it takes a lot 🙂🙂
It's pronounced Shee-ah. AND YES, FINALLY! Junsu is such a versatile and special artist. He's a musical actor, his ballads are always in top K-dramas, and of course, he can dance. Not to mention, he actually composed "Flower." It would have been cool to see you guys react to both a dance number and a ballad of his.
Tablo did the rap for the song and it will be cool if u guys react to him one day! Also a duo called DUETTO from starship just debuted and it's very musically since they came from a reality show competition focusing on musical singers/tenors(?) idk the term for it
Thanks, I've been waiting for this video reaction a lot. All the guys from TVXQ and JYJ have talent and an incredible voice; I recommend you look for presentations of your songs in concerts, these are better than in music videos, allow you to appreciate the vocal ability. Greetings from México
this song is one of my fav kpop songs ever.. like its so different and haunting.. the rap legit haunts you .. and i love everyth about it.. and the comment about it being ironic and dramatic is sth that appealed to me a lot..
Junsu's voice is treasure! Not only his voice but also how he send his emotions into his performances. Idk why he could sing a Chinese ost so smooth and emotinal like that (Those years). Even thought he doesn't understand any Chinese words, or may be he hasn't seen this movie yet. Everytime I hear he sing this song, I always feel that he was the main actor or director, like he just went through a love story like this film. Much more better than the original and other cover. He isn't my bias, I don't over act just because I love him. To prove my point, I found all the cover, heard carefully, then compare to Junsu version. l He not only sing, he make the music. See more produces of him and you will see.
I was a bit surprised by the general reaction to this although I do understand their comments and agree with some of what they said. It's always funny whenever an MV doesn't get an overwhelming response the fans of the artist are always butthurt in the comments, kpop fans, never change!
thanks for giving great reaction videos but I think there are too many videos for one or two groups like BTS, VIXX, MAMAMOO. I know they are soo popular and Umu loves MAMAMOO but I REALLY want to see u guys reacting to different artists in Korea, PLEASEEEEE THANKS, btw I'm an ELF and still waiting for SUJU and TVXQ's reaction videos
Interesting reaction. Definitely think yall should be exposed to more of junsu's music to be able to really say anything. just this one video and watching it for the first time might not be able to help too much because yh, there is a lot going on: the plotline + the symbolism + epic instrumental + junsu's voice. I always look forward to and appreciate the reactions you guys put out :) Also i CANNOT WAIT FOR BAP REACTIONS
Good work keeping up with the scheds umu ~ so i love you!! and also even tho my bias is the trio of shimon, naoki and ben, im also gay for yunyi and her wearing that black polo with her blonde hair is definitely ruining my bias list~ YUNYI SENPAI NOTICE ME!!
I have been waiting for this for so long but...so disappointing! I know I should respect their opinions but the aesthetic beauty, the rap, the meaning of the song, the MV and the talent of Junsu and gosh just everything are sooo underestimated here. Is it because it is not like all the mainstream kpop they often react to?
ReacttotheK Tablo is rapper from Epik High. He did a cover of Taeyang's eyes nose lips in english. He is really popular in south korea, and speaks both english and korean.
There's a kind of vid going around, the "why are we still here? just to SUFFER?" one. From @ 9:58 to 10:11 Peyton's face fits it so well, his face so tranquil. Keep up the vids, merci!
I feel a bit upset from this reaction video.... I was hoping they could like it and maybe even add their own interpretation but I've just seen and heard lots of negative critics and not to bright comments on this.... But regardless of what said, this MV still is in my heart and soul, it shakens me every time like it's got its own power, a different magic world. Probably a musical put into a short MV, not an easy thing to do. Xia Junsu you are a king and I love you. Since 2010.
I admittedly don't listen to Junsu, his stuff just isn't my thing. So, because I've never seen this, I was shocked when the song started. I was sitting here like, "that sounds like Tablo?". I love Tablo, so it was such a nice surprise.
my gosh YAY!!! They finally have a taste of a Broadway/Idol singer. This reaction is kind of expected. To me, Flower is very artistic and like a lot of art, it's not easily digested and there's a lot of 'why did this happen'. Some people love it, some people understand it, some hate it, some appreciate it. The strong orchestration is a reflection of Junsu's broadway experience. It's all much more mood storytelling instead of just telling a single message
I hope you guys react more to Kpop artist like Super Junior ,DBSK,JYJ ,Girl generation ,Wonder Girls . They are all really talented and more talented than 3rd generation .
I honestly don't understand the people who don't like this song. Its just a masterpiece. Xia sounds like an angel and Tablo's rap is amazing. And yes all of the pieces do mix together that is what makes it so good. Its not even an opinion like its a fact this song is amazing.
Sorry, I'm a fan of this artist. First, I'm thankful for your reaction. But I have to say that USUK and Asian music has different styles, especially TVXQ's music with 5 people and JYJ. Each of their songs has a story hidden deep behind. So their every scene, music and singing has meaning, and if you don't understand their life, their career you won't be able to feel the whole song. (In addition, I just want to advertise more that TVXQ and JYJ sing live on the stage many times, that's where they will perform their songs extremely well). Ok. with non-fans I don't expect you guys to take the time to watch all their good concerts to understand. So with this mv FLOWER, I just want to add some meaning for you to UNDERSTAND more AND WHY. Here I would like to quote 1 comment for his blog: "A lot of people think this song is related to Junsu's own life and the SM company and I agree this time, not because every sad song of his has to do with SM, but the MV and lyrics together actually make me think of that. Ok here's my interpretation upon watching this MV for several times. I believe that the ‘king-Junsu’ who sits on the throne represents SM (or SM's leaders) with great power and superior status. He’s surrounded by dancers (0:57) wearing fancy stage outfits who may represent the current idols in SM. The savage-looking group of men represent the former idols who have been banished from SM (the all-mighty dream-fulfilling temple viewed by the naive public). They, including the JYJ members, were viewed by the public as the ‘wrong’ ‘guilty’ ones, the ungrateful traitors. SM forced ugly masks on them and sealed their mouths 0:37, silencing them while making up lies to ruin their reputation, ruin their lives. And just before they leave, they throw the gold robot head on the ground 0:46. This head may represent Junsu’s past life as an SM idol who appears to be covered by fame and fortune (gold) but inside is more like a machine/robot. Now this machine is broken, this idol life is destroyed and gone. At 1:16, the gold head on the ground shakes its mouth while the song goes "all the dreams are crashed between the lips" (sorry if my translation’s not spot-on). An angry masked man shouts something to the king while the lyric goes “lies can’t kill the truth” 0:52. After this big amount of symbolism at the beginning, Junsu sings “take me out from those rotten memories” 1:22, again meaning that the first part is a recall of his past history with SM. Then there goes this interesting little girl (1:55) who, I think, represents truth, goodness and justice. She's looking at ‘king-Junsu’ (SM) and what he's doing but stays silent (for now). King-Junsu stares back at her and tilts his head, not knowing who she is, what she’s thinking or what she’ll do to him, which he will find out one day. At 2:05, the broken robot head sinks down a pool of liquid and goes into some kind of a factory 2:08 which extracts gold coffee 2:17 from it to be drunk by king-Junsu (SM) . This can relate to how SM not only exploited Junsu and other former idols when they were in the company, but endlessly sue them and do all other kinds of things to extract every last drop of benefit and profit from them, even after their idol lives are already ruined. Meanwhile the song goes ‘the cruelly trampled flower...the countless scars that imprison me…’ The 2:55 part where ‘savage-Junsu’ dances in the dark forest may represent that for a long time, he was exiled from SM and deeply wounded, struggling to recover, to not be judged as the villain, to regain his career and basically to rise above and bloom into a ‘flower’. The lyrics at 3:28 go “you become the world’s hot topic and turn to ashes, they take every piece of you like meat”, while king-Junsu is eating a dish of raw fish meat (the destroyed Junsu in real life). The MV’s last part is where the table turns, as Junsu sings “your life your soul your world, they cannot kill it. I died and reborn, I killed it”, etc. These lyrics and the whole song may also be a shout-out to encourage the SM idols (like EXO, SNSD, f(x) and more) who currently face so many hardships. Junsu becomes a golden warrior at 3:37, as the song goes ‘the darkness swallowed me but now I’m swallowing you’. Then the little girl shows up again 3:41, laughing as king-Junsu falls sick from eating the fish (maybe after he’s eaten too many of them for years and years...) and collapses to the ground. The time has finally come for her to witness truth and justice being restored, and the cruel king being punished. The black-Junsu at the end is a dark knight who rises from the dead and now has the power to fight the powerful. I think Junsu is making a statement in this song and video that SM may still be laughing for now, but things are slowly changing these days, and the time will come for truth/justice to bring back the laughter of those, including Junsu, who never give up the fight."
Is BAP next?!?! *sparkly eyes* I can't wait!! Other than that I have to check out this mv, it was totally gorgeous. Just make sure to pick the version with eng subs ^^ Edit: listened to it and got freaking goosebumps. It's in my playlist now
Naw, that's okay, it's always super nice to have someone excited like you just bombard me with info (weird though it may sound :P ) I gotta admit I'm a bit of a nerd so I've already looked up most of the info about him and JYJ that you mentioned hehe I'm not weird, not at all. I wanna comment on everything you said but that'll be too long so I'm doing a quickie: - SM is mean for putting the ban on stations - *gasp* It's horrendous and I personally am a bit scared of the new masses that might only go for the groups that are big and popular right now (as I'm stanning many small groups (BAP, Laboum, Berry Good, Shinhwa etc) >.
And it's so admirable and amazing whenever idols have the singing ability to participate in musicals - 'cause he's been in several and that's just an approval of his ability! Okay I'm out ^^
Hahah I'm glad I made you happy :) But you can't deny talent. Tbh I don't understand why SM would feel the need to go to such lengths (they're already making multum, why should they care?), but it seems like all companies in SK treat their idols badly and is just focused on how much money they can earn before they're just not profitable enough. Argh I just want to go into a tirade about how TS treated BAP because that cut me deeply ("You're in the hospital for fainting? Too bad, come to the performance or you'll have to pay for the losses. Don't forget to pay for the hospital bill too, that's not our concern."), but that's for another time... Thanks for the tips! I've shown my family both 'Flower' and 'Butterfly' so now Xia's songs are playing in my house haha!
Sigh, yeah it's like you can't expect any company to treat their employees right. It's like none of them has a longterm goal and instead only focuses on the immediate money they can earn. In every case it would be better for the company to give some "leeway" to their artists so they are able to recuperate and are willing to stay and renew their contract. I listened to the Untitled part 1 that you recommended and I just feel so sad for them. It's like what every group goes through (in some extent), but I'm so impressed that they were willing/able to speak about it so bluntly. They were already out of SM and prohibited from performing on music programs so hey, what did they have to lose (and who could honestly stop them?)?
I just want to thank you for this very enjoyable conversation these past two days. It's always nice when you find someone with similar opinions as yourself and being able to kinda "fangirl/-boy" over songs/group is, at least to me, extremely satisfying (especially when it's just me of the people that I know that listens to k-pop! xD)
I really liked their reactions for this one for some reason! :'D Jarod and Peyton are so funny!! and did I hear right? next one WAKE ME UP ?!?!?! I yelled at the end xD can't wait!
Huh, it's weird to me that so many of the comments are mentioning how these musicians didn't like the song/video. I thought they had quite a few positive things to say.
it's saddening that they didn't get it but I guess its understandable, Junsus (Xia) work its really diferent since he doesnt have to worry about broadcasting standards and he express that freedom in his music, i love him.
Yeaaasss
i'm sad that some of you guys are not so into the song cause i really like Flower compared to Xia's solo work. the whole mv is stunning with various stories can be build and if you actually read the lyrics of the song, Flower is an even more meaningful song. but i enjoyed the video nonetheless! i hope you'll check out JYJ's In Heaven. the full version is the 10 minute video and you should watch that one cause you'll get the story of the song and the mv!
Kim Junsu is one of the best vocals in Korea. Love him since DBSK days..
i am so sad this song wasn't their cup of tea :( .
I thought with them being musicians they would love it but I guess I was wrong TT
3 years later and i don't want to watch this video after reading this comment ☹️
Is it just me or I just find it weird that Shimon is at the left side of my screen? HAHA
Danielle Wu I KNOW RIGHT shimon should be on the right with naoki on the left with ben in the middle
Danielle Wu bcos Shimon probably wants to sit beside Naoki. So sweet, right? 😂
When they sat down I became confused too xD they said they wanted to keep switching up their seats to confuse you guys xDDD
well that's not a secret anymore~ XD
Finally they discover him ! He is one of the Gods of Kpop with U-know Yunho, Max Changmin, Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun ! ^^
It's kpop. Dude the rapping is kinda a part of it.
I'm annoyed by him now. is he new? 😂😂
Tablo was the one rapping btw.
The rapper on the song is Tablo from Epik High
im a little sad that they didnt like it :( its my favourite song and music video e v e r. but the feedback on it was really interesting from a music aspect
oh yea so the way you pronounce his name is like "shia" it comes from Asia so if you removed the 'a' from "Asia" thats how you pronounce it 😁
THEY MUST SEE THIS COMMENT I ALMOST FLIPPED MY TABLE WHEN THEY PRONOUNCED HIS NAME AS "SHIA" 😂
when you remove 'a' from 'Asia' you will get 'Asi' ;) kkkkk
NemezisShe the first 'a' 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👀
NemezisShe HAHAHA OMG I does when I saw that lol
aww. its a pity that you guys didn't really like it because i love this song so much. the first time I'm hearing this, my heart beats so fast like, there's so much going on in there, the mv, the music, and his voice. the orchestra. tablo's rap. its just so overwhelming. and i would listen while closing my eyes, turned up the volume. thank you guys, for this reaction video.
Ephemeral Elf 👏👏👏 I agree ☺
I agree the channel is biased but everyone has their bias opinions. Plus, the main point of them being classical musicians reacting is to react to the song musically rather than visually
Ephemeral Elf well said
Taylor Harrison i do agree with u
And one more in this video theres a description about the genre, that told that this music is genre, i think them expect this mv is like another kpop song but its not
This video is either liked or disliked. Simple as that. It's not the average 1-2-3 Kpop or American pop video so there's that. Junsu himself is either liked or disliked. Vocally he's one of the strongest in Kpop (which isn't saying much). All in all this is my favorite Kpop video to date because it's different. No, I still have no idea what it means, but it's artistic, well made, and delivered (just like the artist).
Night Angel cough cough lee hongki. Cough cough.
@@MrBachChoy Junsu vocal is stronger .
The one rapping is Tablo, who is also doing the dialogue in the beginning ♥ Tablo and Epik High are so amazing ♥
I was going to recommend Kim Jaejoong 'Mine' but if this video confused these people they definitely won't get that one. Disappointed that these music students seem more into mainstream kpop songs. Probably should just do songs like TVXQ 'Mirotic' or 'Wrong Number'.
when your favs disappoint you with their opinions D:
(it does go to show how much people judge based on their own conditioning rather than creative appreciation though)
When I first listen to this song, I was shocked, like didn't get it, but then I couldn't take the chorus out of my head. Junsu it's trully an artist
REACT TO MIROTIC 👌👌👌👌👌
Ximena Trivino yesss please
YES
Ximena Trivino check their schedule..I bet it full thou
Ximena Trivino yes pleaseeeee
Ximena Trivino and rising sun 👌🏼👌🏼 those are two of the most iconic tvxq/dbsk songs imo
I loved the rapping tho, Tablo is always a good idea.
YA'LL REACTING TO ONE OF THE KINGS
MY HEART IS SO FUCKING HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!
BTOB - Movie and I'll Be Your Man, pleeease
I am glad that you have plan on reacting to older DBSK/TVXQ/JYJ songs. Will be waiting for it!!!
I waited for this video reaction for so long but it was really disappointing.. This song is a legendary bop wish they watched his performance of this, xia, his voice & talent deserve much appreciation
Thanks for reacting tho, it's always fun and joyful to watch your videos ❤️
Jaco I hear you and don't get me wrong, I actually like the song and I don't find it uninteresting I was just playing devil's advocate and trying to give the possible reasons why they might not have enjoyed it very much I guess it just boils down to personal taste because I do appreciate all the things you mentioned
park hyo shin - wild flower with lyrics also park hyo shin - home :) thanks
Anikka Jane Panes Park Hyo Shin's snow flower & breath too!
Park hyo shin - lost
yeesss wild flower
WILD FLOWER YESSSS.. it's even better if ther there is sub on ;-; hahah
YUS wildflower!
Opera voice is Jung Sun-A
She is famous musical actress in korea
Guys you really don't need to be sad those people don't like it or understand it. Who cares if they like him or not? People who love Junsu will always love him!
JYJ - In Heaven full mv. 😂😊🙏🙏🙏
JYJ in heaven live!
minny sab yesss
minny sab I've been waiting for this mv too! T_T
minny sab the mv is so sad 😭 I cried
Yes, please. I strongly recommend it. The song and mv is soooo good!!
*THIS MAN IS A FUCKING QUEEN*
took those words right out of my mouth...
Luna Glow PLEASE, TARANTALLEGRA 😭😭😭
@6002_ Dhimohrif yeah i rmb that! i am sad about that too :(
Luna Glow oh yes those two would be so interesting to react to!
yes? why did it change to only flower and not both! 🤔
This song still gives me GOOSEBUMPS! Thanks for reacting! Cassiopeias where u at?! lol
let's all admit it, XIA IS THE KIND OF ART. 💖
he is an art.. its korean blinded not seeing his brilliant side of music... kekeke
react to *SO Hyang - Arirang alone* please I'm begging you 😭
x blossom totally agree with you and when soyang sings fate & as I live they should def react to it
And also the michael bolton cover!! The key changes are UNBELIEVABLE
+
AngelPrincess979 why is he blocked from music programs? I didn't know that
Pelin Yılmazer because S.M.
I mean, it's unofficial - but everyone knows it.
why did he left the group? does any one know the true reason?
No one and I mean NO ONE can do it like Junsu.
Don't you dare diss Tablo's rapping, its an incredibly integral part of the song 😡
Matt K IKR!
damn ikr
He's also a theatre singer too! :) Amazing voice!
when you're early but you don't know what to say
I've been waiting for this!!!!!!! My Jun-chan always SLAY!!!
React to Bang Yongguk ft. Zelo Pray! 💙💙🙏
and definitely gotta love tablo..rlly wish you showed them born hater but i know it's a rap but still ㅠㅠ
*MAMAMOO* had a comeback with 2 MV "Aze gag" And "Yes i am"... MOOMOOS lets stream :3
alright alright alright...*B.A.P* IS NEXT FELLOW BABYS!!
This song has an older kpop feel but with so much meaning
JYJ's In Heaven :) And if the vocalists did Tvxq's Bolero Live or honestly any of their live stages would be amazing
yes tvxq live is always the best
i don't think bolero is gonna be on the list, since they may just react to korean songs.
oo and their a cappella stuff! Like "whatever they say"!! love it so much~
OOhhhhh yes! Whatever they say! And Love in the Ice! Live perf!
this song is one of my fav kpop songs ever.. like its so different and haunting.. the rap legit haunts you .. and i love everyth about it..
and the comment about it being ironic and dramatic is sth that appealed to me a lot..
I know they are soo popular and Umu loves MAMAMOO but I REALLY want to see u guys reacting to different artists in Korea, PLEASEEEEE
THANKS, btw I'm an ELF and still waiting for SUJU and TVXQ's reaction videos
Interesting reaction. Definitely think yall should be exposed to more of junsu's music to be able to really say anything. just this one video and watching it for the first time might not be able to help too much because yh, there is a lot going on: the plotline + the symbolism + epic instrumental + junsu's voice. I always look forward to and appreciate the reactions you guys put out :)
Also i CANNOT WAIT FOR BAP REACTIONS
Show them his performance in Dracula he's AMAZING! We can hear his special voice in it, it fits very well the role
If it helps, some also speculated that the MV is depicting Cronus from Greek mythology.
React to Baby I'm Sorry by MYNAME
It's really sad...
You should react to Jung joonyoung- Sympathy
He has a really nice voice👍🏼👏
One of my most favorite kpop songs... Junsu x Tablo... 😍😍😍
you should mention Epik High's Tablo is the one rapping... 😊
i was gonna write that but tablo's name isn't in the mv description only in the album so unless people know his voice they won't know it's him :c
yeah i wished they mentioned that it was tablo that is rapping
ReacttotheK Tablo is rapper from Epik High. He did a cover of Taeyang's eyes nose lips in english. He is really popular in south korea, and speaks both english and korean.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. But 5 out of 10? What? Seriously dude? 😒
And I love how they pointed out how there wasn't any electronic sound in the song
They all just woke up. Their faces are all puffy. I like it. lol
FYI the rapping is Tablo
OMG YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I'VE WAITED FOR THIS
yeaaaaahhhh!! i even countdown the days!!! hahahaha
hahah x92738202 TuT
Mimi Le Same!
one of my favorite songs i repetitively listened to. thanks for reacting!
What the hell happened to jarod's eye brows? I had to look back to other reaction videos because his eye brows look so damn different i cri haha
I hope we get to see them reacting to TVXQ OT5 lives, specifically for their Japanese discrography. Their Japanese ballads are gold.
Johnny's Angel bc TY won't like me bolero 😭
I agree that the video is too much to take in at first but Junsu's voice is really unique and lovely to listen to
There's a kind of vid going around, the "why are we still here? just to SUFFER?" one.
I'm kinda sad that none of them noticed Xia drank the golden robotic skull!
THEY SHOULD REACT TO EYES NOSE LIPS THE FANTASTIC DUO PERFORMANCE
TVXQ LOVE IN THE ICE LIVE VERSION PLEASE
Yes
my gosh YAY!!! It's all much more mood storytelling instead of just telling a single message
i waited for this video reaction but it was really disappoiting... Xia is amazing, no is the typical singer of kpop is a real artist...
Yaaaassss B.A.P - Wake me up is next~ ♡_♡
Please react to 'Never', 'Open Up', and 'Always' from Produce 101 Season 2.
I hope you guys react more to Kpop artist like Super Junior ,DBSK,JYJ ,Girl generation ,Wonder Girls . They are all really talented and more talented than 3rd generation .
REACT TO BLACKPINK'S AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST
Yaaaaay ...thanks for your reactions , all of them negative and positive
I am super excited for the up coming TVXQ Reactions YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
I wanna see Epik High reactions :(
like Fan and 1 minute 1 second or Love Love Love 💔
I honestly don't understand the people who don't like this song. Its just a masterpiece. Xia sounds like an angel and Tablo's rap is amazing. And yes all of the pieces do mix together that is what makes it so good. Its not even an opinion like its a fact this song is amazing.
PLEASE REACT TO "B1A4 - Only Learned The Bad Things" and [Immortal Song 2] Sandeul - I Am A Candlelight Before You👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Sorry, I'm a fan of this artist.
Here I would like to quote 1 comment for his blog:
"A lot of people think this song is related to Junsu's own life and the SM company and I agree this time, not because every sad song of his has to do with SM, but the MV and lyrics together actually make me think of that.
Meanwhile the song goes ‘the cruelly trampled flower...the countless scars that imprison me…’
The 2:55 part where ‘savage-Junsu’ dances in the dark forest may represent that for a long time, he was exiled from SM and deeply wounded, struggling to recover, to not be judged as the villain, to regain his career and basically to rise above and bloom into a ‘flower’.
I think Junsu is making a statement in this song and video that SM may still be laughing for now, but things are slowly changing these days, and the time will come for truth/justice to bring back the laughter of those, including Junsu, who never give up the fight."
tvxq be slaying even now
They never stopped slaying to begin with (:
i'm proud of ur statement!
Nope, what is tvxq? They didn't even exist.. hahahaha
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA GREAT JOKE
The level of idiocy of some of the comments here are incredible. There is no need to blatantly showcase your ignorance, we all know that already.
I love the blond guy with the colorful shirt!
Was hoping for more (?) reaction (and positive ones?) to Tablo's rap T_T
am i the only one sitting here looking at Jarod like 😭😍???????
Is BAP next?!?! *sparkly eyes* I can't wait!!
Other than that I have to check out this mv, it was totally gorgeous. Just make sure to pick the version with eng subs ^^
Edit: listened to it and got freaking goosebumps. It's in my playlist now
Naw, that's okay, it's always super nice to have someone excited like you just bombard me with info (weird though it may sound :P )
I gotta admit I'm a bit of a nerd so I've already looked up most of the info about him and JYJ that you mentioned hehe I'm not weird, not at all. I wanna comment on everything you said but that'll be too long so I'm doing a quickie:
- SM is mean for putting the ban on stations
- *gasp* It's horrendous and I personally am a bit scared of the new masses that might only go for the groups that are big and popular right now (as I'm stanning many small groups (BAP, Laboum, Berry Good, Shinhwa etc) >.
It's always nice when you find someone with similar opinions as yourself and being able to kinda "fangirl/-boy" over songs/group is, at least to me, extremely satisfying (especially when it's just me of the people that I know that listens to k-pop! xD)

Huh, it's weird to me that so many of the comments are mentioning how these musicians didn't like the song/video. I thought they had quite a few positive things to say.
