He's the only singer in the world who had around 700.000 fans in a show. That happened in Olavarría, a little town in buenos aires. The tickets was "sold out" and the security could't stop the rest of fans that were outside. In "the pogo" ( where a lot of people jump on the ground) finally died some fans on the floor. That was a tragedy and it was the last show they made, 'cause "The Indio" have Parkinson.

La Plata is the name of a city that is also in Argentina and also on the banks of the Rio de la Plata (river plate in English). Argentina means Country of silver or Argentum. The Spanish believed they found a way around here to a country where there was a lot of that metal.
I am not a fan of Indio Solari but the amount of people who follow him (including Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil) is incredible and it makes me proud that he is Argentine.

In our country rock n roll is a religion and is important in our culture. The song has not a specific meaning because the periods are metaphors...they say that it talks about Chernobyl cause this song is from 1986, others say that it talks about a terrific murder... Indio is the pseudonym of the singer, and the band is "Los Fundamentalistas del aire acondicionado". But this song is from the first Indio band called "Los Redondos". I suggest you another song of this same show "Un poco de amor frances"

The drummer uses this glass wall to create a different sound in drums, it sounds cleaner, has a stronger punch, and is more concentrated. Just compare it with any other live drummer and you'll notice the difference in the sound. Sounds better with the glass in my opinion.

If you get to see the Tandil (another city) video for this same song you won't believe it. He still performs however during the pandemic he was diagnose with a sickness that is likely going to keep you away from live performances for a while. The song is originally from another band Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota (los redondos) where he was one of the founding members and frontman. But the song is such a rock anthem here in Argentina that going to a show by him and not having the song would leave you with a sensation that something is missing.

His band is Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado, but he was the singer and founding member of the 1970s rock band Patricio Rey y los Redonditos de Ricota alias Los Redondos. Argentinian rock band. After Los Redondos broke up in the early 2000s, Indio made up his band. It's estimated that the Tandil concert had an audience of 400,000.
