I definitely agree that, for at least the second year in a row, a mog shop overhaul is overdue. I think something that could really help bring some freshness to PVP in terms of both something new and to help alleviate power creep and meta fatigue is to take inspiration from a lot of people's most disliked PVE game mode, Tower. A LGW-like event where units ability use/HP/AP/TP dont reset every day (tracking offence and defense separately would be a pain to figure out for the Dev team, I admit that is a bit of a hurdle). I'm only in a top 50 guild, but I can see how this would make even top 10 more challenging. Multi-day scouts (for the involved guilds) would become very important. Guilds couldn't run the same wall on defense or powerhouse team on offense every day because the units would run out of both health and abilities. Yes, it would be a bit of a pain to set a new team every day for a week, but as a once a quarter thing with units tracked over a year I think it would bring at least some variety to the PVP scene, and would encourage newer players (and even some older players, at least on the reincarnation system) to invest into older units.
after playing so long and hearing what could be improved in the game, I have to agree some of the grinds are far too long e.g. sandals in shop or the rewards available are stagnate without keeping up with the changes in game
Class matches are the greatest mode of this game. But it's certainely 200% more enjoyable if you're playing in manual mode. Everytime that they ban quicken... love it!
@@cedj4504 I must disagree. JB had two weeks without a single loss. Myself, I got a lot of weeks with a much better win rate than 50%. Manual is a whole other beast. Much better mode than manual, outside of community tournaments.
@@Numero80 I've ripped off 22 wins in a row. In order to place top 100 you need at least a couple long win streaks. What does that have to do with luck in what opponent you get? Counter element, evade, magic, physical, or getting opponents ranked 3200 compared to all your opponents are top 20 means EVERYTHING. it is 50% luck. QP is only 25%.
Me and a few guildmates are quitting in a few months. I just dumped $500 this month and can barely keep up. We are in top 50 guild global The power creep made old units look like 💩
Loved the "worst predictions" part. 🤣

I'd like to see Ksaun and Aurronjay both shoutcasting the same matches and co-hosting
You read my mind ksaun is so well spoken and arounj
That random water resist buff is so gumi-like. I honestly think Jeume ended up being a lot stronger than they wanted.
This episode has so much valuable feedback!

They need a 6 man selection like quick pick for CM. Otherwise CM is 50% luck.

Hey Will - EZog58 here. You sure your worst prediction wasn't Luna!Kitone being B tier? :)
Love the podcast, keep it up guys!
Someone computer is running loud. Makes a whirring/whining sound.
Time to upgrade to a liquid cooling system!
I think that it's the fan behind RPW. It's a hot season 🥵

The power creep made old units look like 💩
I mean you don't have to quit, just play casually and have fun where you can. Sometimes it just takes re evaluating your goals and what you want to do
@@ReadyPlayerWill I absolutely agree. You dont need every unit and every VC to compete at the top level in all forms of PvP.
