Until you start getting organic search sales, you'll need to work harder to get people to go to your shop, so it's lots of social media, writing newsletters, and using ads. Once you start getting interaction on your listings, the momentum will start taking over, but you really do have to get people to interact with your shop. I know it's hard, but you just have to be persistent.
That's because you can't see what Etsy is showing other people, and Etsy is showing you your listings because you look at them more often. The incognito browser is more of a blank slate that shows you what people see if they've never looked at your listings. There's no way to 100% see exactly where your listings are showing for everyone because it's different for everyone.
You said they may be showing up because they know it's your shop. Is there a reason you are not searching in Incognito mode so that this doesn't happen?

At one time new listings seemed to go in at about page 16 but now seam from what i have seen go in nearer the end/last page of a search. Is any of that accurate.
Sort of, it will take Etsy a while to decide who to show your listing to based on the personalized search criteria they use, but thy can get that information pretty quickly based on showing it in search results and seeing how people react to it. The point is that if you have accurate keywords that other sellers don't use, your competition will be lower, and your chance of showing up better in search increases.
Thank you

Best. Party Trick. Ever.
Yeah, but now Etsy fills in the results with more junk that they think is related, so it's not as impressive anymore! The point is still the same, though.
I can tell you know how to create quality titles, that's why if you don't mind, could you please tell me if this title would be correct for one of my shower curtains (is set in a horror movie):
Horror psycho shower curtain, hitcock scary & bloody bath curtain, creepy bathroom decor, bloody handprint bathroom art, bates motel curtain.
I try not to use the word "shower curtain" more than twice in most titles.
I use ahrefs for keyword research and marmalead to know the competition (if there are more than 1000 listings it is a bad keyword that I might not use unless I don't find enough words, if there are less than 1000 it is a good keyword and I will most likely use it unless there is another one with more searches.
With all this said, do you think it is an acceptable title? Do you think it is possible that it can get to rank? (taking into account only the SEO variable)
Thanks in advance for your answer, I hope I haven't bored you too much hahaha.
The title itself is fine, but I think that Psycho is copyrighted, so you shouldn't use those words in it!

Yesss
Unfortunately this is not how people search for things, you can't go about guessing what specific long-tail keywords they will use. Nice try though.
That’s not the point
I do when I'm looking for specific things.
The young ones. 😂 Darling, WE'RE the young ones. And young ones shouldn't be afraid... to live, love... while the flame is strong. 'Cause we may not be the young ones very long. EDIT: Sorry, this video is a year old, so you probably don't know what I'm talking about, LOL.
Of course I know what you're talking about! Ftumchuk...Nobody ever says my name. At least with your name they might say it by accident. Do you want to go to the pub ORGO to the cinema?
What is the name of your group on Facebook? Ty
It’s linked in the description!
Thanks
Thanks for watching!
