In this video I am giving you guys a full empty house tour. This house is on schofield Barracks in the Canby Community.
A little about us is that my husband in in the army so I am a military spouse or army wife. My name is Ivy and i can’t wait to get to know some of you! We lived on Schofield barracks and We lived on Oahu in Hawaii and absolutely love the scenery this has become our home for the last 3 years and I thank all of you for coming on our journey. I am now moving to Fort Hood Texas and I am bringing ya'll on the journey!

I don't remember for sure but i think these places were the high rank homes. Like colonel or general. And they were original then but obviously refurbished at some point after '82 hurricane Iwa after which my family left our 4/2.5 quad cement home on Ekaha Circle which is now just a short street as opposed to the cul de sac it used to be😢
When i saw it last in 08 and possibly '12, it was so depressing, seemed so small now that im grown and was slated for tear down in a few more years thereafter. 😭😭
I lived on Safter, the cabinets that you're confused about have Pre WW2 clasps. 🎉

My house was concrete! And if I’m not mistaken the townhomes are wood
Would you recommend living on base or renting out a house/apartment off base ?
Nicolle Long it really depends on what you’re look for! If you have animals I would say on Because not a lot of places off take dogs. And if you’re ganna be off just be careful with some of the areas you might stay in
@@IvyHindman I agree. The island isn't all Aloha, especially with Military personnel. Further, aside from pets being an issue the rent and utilities can become outrageous. I say the best place to rent would be Ewa Beach/ Kapilina Beach homes, thats a nice area but a drive to and from work. That's another thing is the commute, the traffic is wild! People can claim up and down all day they know traffic well theres no traffic like Oahu traffic!
