It's a shame. The anime on its own isn't necessarily bad by any means. The fights are certainly REALLY good. It's definitely a bad adaptation though. With 13 episodes it really would have been perfect if it finished with Mori's fight against Daewi and then if popular enough, do a second season that covers up to Taek Jegal. I still hope the anime gets another season, but I hope Mappa is given the chance to adapt it better. I definitely think the following arcs are much better, so I'll still be fully satisfied if those ones are adapted more properly. Ragnarok in particular, if adapted really well, could have some of the most hype animated scenes out there.

Chapter to Anime Tineline Season 1: Chapters 1-112(13 episodes) Season 2: Chapters 113-307(25 episodes) Season 3: Chapters 308-Current(26 episodes I think since there might be an epilogue episode which will be the 26th) I calculated this so you anime only watchers and anime watchers who want to read the Webtoon don’t get lost I calculated this by how Crunchyroll makes the episodes and how many episodes they make(I actually had to spend 8 hours reading the Webtoon insanely fast so I could calculate each episode and it’s beginnings and ends... I never thought I would put this much effort on a comment that no one will see but I genuinely live this series and it’s my 2nd favorite anime) Edit: I actually don’t think they will make a 2nd season because they changed the story IMMENSELY when they let Mori Jin win instead of Ilpyo Park and that means they would have to write their own story which is a task on its own and then they would have to draw and animate that within a week, it’s like a magician who just hopes the trick will work and has no plan, just comes up with ideas out of nowhere Edit 2: Turns out at the end of the season they tweaked a bit the story THEY changed and now it seems more plausible for a season 2 to be made since in the end they turned the story back to how it should’ve been but instead Mori won the fight against Ilpyo, I can’t yet predict how Mori winning that fight will change the story but I think it won’t change it that much since there doesn’t appear to be flashbacks pointing to that match(flashbacks can change an entire anime season) Edit 3: Im answering questions you guys might have

Season 1: Chapters 1-112(13 episodes)
Season 2: Chapters 113-307(25 episodes)
Season 3: Chapters 308-Current(26 episodes I think since there might be an epilogue episode which will be the 26th)
I calculated this so you anime only watchers and anime watchers who want to read the Webtoon don’t get lost I calculated this by how Crunchyroll makes the episodes and how many episodes they make(I actually had to spend 8 hours reading the Webtoon insanely fast so I could calculate each episode and it’s beginnings and ends... I never thought I would put this much effort on a comment that no one will see but I genuinely live this series and it’s my 2nd favorite anime)
Edit: I actually don’t think they will make a 2nd season because they changed the story IMMENSELY when they let Mori Jin win instead of Ilpyo Park and that means they would have to write their own story which is a task on its own and then they would have to draw and animate that within a week, it’s like a magician who just hopes the trick will work and has no plan, just comes up with ideas out of nowhere
Edit 2: Turns out at the end of the season they tweaked a bit the story THEY changed and now it seems more plausible for a season 2 to be made since in the end they turned the story back to how it should’ve been but instead Mori won the fight against Ilpyo, I can’t yet predict how Mori winning that fight will change the story but I think it won’t change it that much since there doesn’t appear to be flashbacks pointing to that match(flashbacks can change an entire anime season)
