The anime skips a LOT of story, and primarily focuses on the battles. Coincidentally, someone who has read the webtoon might not want to get a full long recap on a story they already know, and just want the beautifully animated battles you can’t have in a webtoon. It works perfectly, but only for that group. Those who don’t read the webtoon will miss a lot of lore, which is confusing. That’s the issue with GoH
