YNWA....😊😊😊
New Doctor who theme on UA-cam, just appeared...E...
I used to have pubs in Walsall. My very children were born there and have the accent to prove it (I'm from the north west).
Joey Barton was always fighting. I think he went to prison for it.
There is a reason that home and away supporters are separated. 😅
yea it's called segregation
It is simply not a game it is a war between two factions that’s how serious it is 😂
I've never understood Americans watching their Sports all mixed in. Segregation creates atmosphere.
@@Glenn1892 College Football in the US is the closest atmosphere to English and World Football.
For the most part, the opposing sides are separated and there can be fights if some fans are intoxicated.
I’m a massive fan of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide and we have some songs and chants, albeit not at the level of English Football fans.
College Football is MUCH superior than the boring NFL.
Love your reactions. Your laughters infectious. The last one's my fave as well.😂
Don’t worry Joey Barton’s in a constant state of ready to fight. Bloke headbutts his pillows before bed.
The last one is my club Newport County AFC with the classic “We’ve conquered all the chippys” 😂
Some of the best English humour is found in our football grounds.
Personal favourite is the one with the inflatable penis being confiscated by the stewards and the crowd respond in unison with "We Want Our Dick Back !" 🤣 it never gets old.
it would be hilarious to get a bunch of British fans, seat them all together at an MLS game somewhere and let them work their magic and see what happens... it would be TV gold watching the natives reactions
I was thinking just that.
Is MLS like motor nuerone disease?
@@petefluffy7420Worse....far worse! 🤪
@@petefluffy7420its messi, basically most other people in the league who cant play football and a retirement home for some fairly big names in europe who arent as good as they used to be
@@samuelpinder1215 I dint live anywhere near Europe. Sport is not for watching on television, it is for playing. I am not sure we even get European League broadcast here. English Premier League I know we at used to get it. MSL? your figgin havin' a loan o' me.
Im British and ive never seen that fat bastard chant before on my football travels thats 100% a classic
Some random nutter or two will just start a chart and it either catches on or it doesn't. Helps if they are in the right section of the ground! Over the years, clubs will accumulate a wide range of well known chant in their fanbase... and there's also many chants that many smaller clubs will use/adapt that we all heard growing up
OH MY GOD! That was GREAT! Nothing more fun than sharing company with people that don´t mind having a laugh at themselves! Bravo!
Joey Barton deserves all he gets btw, he stubbed a cigar out in a youth player who played on the same teams eye on a night out. SCUM
His brother Michael is a convicted murderer, who killed a black bloke with an ice axe in an unprovoked racist attack.
They've no idea, have they?
Didn't he go to jail for attacking someone in McDonald's?
Or when he knocked Fleetwoods managers teeth out, in the tunnel.
And don't even get into his axemen relatives.😮
What a guy.😂
@@MrBollocks10 😂 Joey Jailbird 😂
Song by Leeds Utd Fans mid 70's 'Oh my brothers in Borstal, my sister has pox, my brother-law works at Sunderland docks and the Yorkshire ripper's our dad, nah nah nah nah nah nah LEEDS and repeat. (Borstal is what 'reform schools for troubled teens' were referred to at the time)
Another sung by Liverpool Fans to Luton Fans early 80's 'thank you very much for payin our dole, thank very much, thank you very very much and repeat (Very difficult time employment wise then, if you havn't I suggest watching 'Boys from the Blackstuff', cracking series. Liverpool was suffering from horrendous job losses at the time, Docks were going, local mines were striking there was a LOT of hardship. Luton wasn't much better off, but it was 'Southern' and close to the wealth of London so..........
@@izzyroberts5518😂😂😂
Great video. I remember as a boy of about 10 many happy Saturday afternoons singing "You're going home in a Durham ambulance". Just banter, I never fought anyone at a game in my life. Happy times.
The song is we can't read we can't write but that don't really matter we come up from Swindon town and we can drive a tractor 😂
the chanting the songs and banter is one of the great experience's of football and all in good fun (im a Swansea City fan)
I must say I do join in and love the new ones....Good reaction like the editing by the way ❤❤❤❤
Great reaction EB I appreciate cutting out the repeated ones aswell seen those a few times!
I knew you'd love that last one, seen the video you reacted to before. That was my fave too lol. 😂👌
Love your laughter so genuine 😂 and if it comes to to the fight its altogether
Great reaction, the last one was my favourite too 😂
As a match going supporter of my local Premier League team since 1967, these showcase a humourous side that is typical fair game at a football ground today. Years ago, the chants and songs were far more brutal and cutting than they are now. I can recall many lyrics being sung en masse by thousands back in the day that were seen as funny and provocative in equal measure at the time but aren't deemed accepatable today.
It was they way we were, and we've moved on since then, but yeah, some of the songs were savage compared to today.
It's a 90 minute battle of fan abouse who's the more inventive who's the loudest it can be very personal but self defecating also... It's just banter and no offence is taken by either set of fans.. It's just our release after a working week to have fun
My team Notts County have the maddest chant in the football league. To the tune of On Top Of Old Smokey; ' I had a wheelbarrow, the wheel fell off'! When you come to Blighty check out a lower league game. Come and see Notts!
Oh yes Alan, no one is safe😂 we’ll target anyone for anything. It’s mainly banter between fans, but God help anyone who who is accused of anything serious. British football fans can be brutal, but the funniest chants are the ones where they are taking the pee out of themselves 😂
Newcastle United recently beat Paris Saint Germain (French champions and european gaints) 4-1 at St James, PSG fans had 52 thousand fans from all angles chanting Who Are Ya plus other songs and chants. Best match I have ever been to. Get yourself over to Newcastle, you'll enter as a tourist but leave as an adopted geordie
That was the first time I've ever seen a flag block the main broadcast camera during a match ever
Dont scare the man. no one wants to be an apopted geordie!
European Giants, they have never won a UCL 😂
@patrickg3796 true mate but they have been further than most so id put them up there imo
Lmfao well its nice to see Ashton Gate in the video wasnt expecting to see my club on here haha ;) yes i can drive a tractor!!!
My favourite footy chant is
"The Kiddy Family" (to the tune of
The Addams Family)
As long as it is not racist or homophobic anything goes in the UK.
We can make a song out of nothing just to make a slow game a bit more fun. Roll tide!
Best part of europe , Freedom of speech , freedom of expression and freedom of opinion . Its even illegal to arrest some one or fine some one because of these 3 rights .
Sadly not true. Worrying development is that plenty of people have been arrested for saying pretty innocuous things on social media. In fact in recent years more people have been arrested by police in the UK for things they've said than in Russia. The Labour Party are proposing more 'hate speech' legislation, so that will only get worse.
Ahhhh yes starting off with the classic kiddy family chant as a former resident of kiddy (Kidderminster) I can confirm the truth behind that song
Still wont beat there's only two Andy Gorams, which was repeatedly sung to the Rangers and Scotland goalie by opposition fans after a schizophrenia diagnosis. The chant was eventually used as a title of book documenting hilarious football chants.
You should check out Rangers accidentally sign a Catholic probably one of the funniest football comedy sketches of all time.
I love your laugh it just sounds great
Hello Alan. I reckon I commented before to see the film "The Football Factory". Also see "Who Do You Think You Are" to see the main actor, Danny Dyer's ancestry.
XD so just spoke to my dad the Joey Barton one is also from bristol city singing about the rovers manager which is bristol rovers our "rivals"
We English love most sports with pure passion & that is what is so good as it’s about the people enjoying it & not the money people even though them fookers still earn off us watching it’s the small price we have to pay to get a enjoyable weekend day….
Much love, health & happiness to everyone from England 🏴😄👍
No one want to miss out on the game. The fights happen before and after in the streets and around the pubs
I travelled 4 hours to watch my team lose 9-0 (still a Premier League record home defeat) at home on a rainy miserable Friday night and we were singing "HOW SHIT MUST YOU BE, IT'S ONLY 9-0!!!" and "10-9 ,WE'RE GONNA WIN 10-9!"
"Is this legal?" !!! Well, the UK is a freedom-loving country. And it isn't as puritanical as the US. So, yes it's legal.
These chants are why the terraces are often muted if being shown on TV
Funniest chant and Player Reaction ever has to be the Leeds Fans singing Posh Spice take it up the ar£e to David Beckham just after they were married and him Raging out!!
USA sports fans the passion runs deep and the UK has seen the worst days of hooliganism where it went beyond chanting lol, great days back in my youth.
The Bristol city one really is calling them red necks, I'm Bristol rovers. Bristol is in the West of England, an area known just for farming. We're seen as a little backwards and our accent is mocked...to a stage where there are three famous West country people with accents, all of whom are seen as a little odd!
Strange thing is that when people move here they never want to leave. As we say in the local dialect "it's gert lush"
Up the gas
To reply to my own message. Joey Barton is Bristol rovers manager. Those in breads are Bristol city fans...you mention violence. Joey has been to prison for a violent crime! So none of those would dare say it to his face
Us English 🏴 are the best when come to football chants 👏👏👏
He's only a poor little Hammer, he came up here to look for a fight, he went back home because we set him alight! True it happened in the days of football violence. 70s West Ham Vs Newcastle United.
Jimmy Savile was a famous DJ working at BBC, presenter of the famous UK Top of the Pop which was like Dick Clark's American Bandstand. He turned out to be a paedophile vicitmizing hundred of young girls, but was never convicted as most of the evidence was exposed after he died.
Adam Johnson was a good UK professional footballer but was found out to be a paedophile with a 15 year old teenager. Sentenced to 6 years in prison but released after 3 years. He was in England's U1, U21 and Senior Team, played in the 2010 World Cup. Thus, a very good footballer that got his career ended with the jail sentence. Tried to paly abroad after prison release but I see no record of that.
Love it
Don’t worry Joey Barton is always ready to fight including his own teammates in the past
The coloccini chant is still the best and most hilarious chant ive ever heard.
When are we getting another still game reaction I've been waiting well over a week
I am from wolverhampton and our team is wolves and Walsall is near to my town lol
As opposed to illegal....we have some inventive ones here at Prenton park, home of Tranmere Rovers, the only English football club with an Hiberno Norse name...😊😊😊
Your never gonna get a better atmosphere than Newcastle United at home. 52k screaming fans in unison constantly for the full 90.
Those fans are only willing to say that when they are safely tucked away in their stand and in a big group. None would have the guts to say it to his face one on one because he'd kill every one of them
Joey Barton was a football player who went missing in glasgow
Never heard this before, proud to hear I live in Wanky Wanky Walsall 😂😂😂 ❤
Wallsall = Valley of the Welsh 😊😊
Watch it again Alan the Drive a tractor one they were chanting about themselves 😂
Great Reaction to theses new chants.
Can't wait for 2026 WC to see how US reacts with all the countries chants in stadiums,
It could get out of hand👀😮🙄
They will not know what's hit em 😁😁😂
There are fights sometimes. I bet you'll find some videos here on yt. Scary stuff. You should react on that.
The can't read, can't write one is probably being sung by fans of Ipswich Town who are called the tractor boys. I think it comes from a song by Gunthar Farmer called the same where part of it says i can't read and i can't i but i can drive a tra'er
The unison thing I see a lot of Americans commenting on. I guess we're just born with it lol
Everyone here can take the piss out of anything, as you know, and most people know it's just that....however there is a reason team supporters are separated.
I'd love to see an American attempt a fist fight with British footy fans!! Oh dear.
The big fat bastard guy wins it for funniest overall chant, the Walsall chant wins for me on the attacking chant partly by virtue of one bloke leading 😂😂
If you like Spicy food EB then you really need to try a Vindaloo!!!
There is a reason, that football matches do not mix the fans up, like say in baseball. It wouldn't go well...
Ah nostalgia 😂
Legal?? 😊
"Kill, kill , kill the Bill."
The old Bill are the Police.
Lol
I'm a big fat bastard 😂😂😂
Morning EB, Nowadays yes some of these Chants will get a Fan Arrested, Look up how many people have got Banning Orders and Prison time for Words not Actions over the last couple of Seasons. While Words hurt Feelings they do not Break Bones and until recently they didn't break Laws.
just how funny would it be for a English team to tour the US with a good following of fans
Love ya mate but some of you americans seem so reserved when it comes to certain things here in uk. We have gone through world wars etc. My mom is 97 and went through that. I love her so much. Forgive them but we are ok people
We love to take the piss out of ourselves
You need to look up football firms or rival football gangs to see what trouble can be caused.
The England cricket fans are just as good as some of the football ones their called the barmy army says it all
English Footie chants can be pretty brutal.
I find it strange that football fans are strictly segregated. It doesn't happen in rugby. Either union or league. The posh lads game or the rough lads game. I found the fans reaction to the Irish win over South Africa by singing Zombie, by The Cranberries very moving. Both Scots and Irish fans, singing along and stood shoulder to shoulder. The fact that the Irish team is made up from Irish Republic citizens and Ulstermen... somewhat gives me hope.
Joey Barton is a GOD, even though he is scouser
i havent watched yet but nothing will compare to the Adam Johnson ones so lets see...
Best place to be is Ibrox Stadium watching Glasgow Rangers💙
These chants are very mild Id say
They'll try to fight, and lose said fight cause football here in europe is a religion, you'd begin a crusade by tryin to fight football fans
And you wonder why we don’t have guns🤣in the uk,we’re angry enough😎that’s how we’ve accomplished wot we have, like the hulk,we’re allways angry, when needs👍
You need a better green screen matey ;o))))
I looked up Shrewsbury as they said about sheep, I'm disappointed as they are part of England and not Wales
Shrewsbury used to be the Royal seat of the Princedom of Powys so there is that (Border changes so much round here over the years)
My local club Airdrie had a chant when the first openly gay player Justin Fashanu played for us back in the early 90's.
Hes black hes gay he plays for Air dah ray, Fasha nu,fasha nu.
Hes class on grass, he'll F you up the ass, Fasha nu, Fasha nu.
Yes it is legal, despite what Americans think we have freedom of expression in The UK unless it breaks hate speech law i.e racism
Being thin-skinned is not a British traight, we insult our friends, enemies and even ourselves with equal enthusiasm, and very rarely really mean it.
If you can't take an insult (and usually respond in kind) then you didn't grow up in the British school system (state or private).
Exactly where the ease with which we can chant in unison comes from is a mystery to me, so is the fact that a lot of other peoples seem to have difficulty with it.
Agreed. Banter, satire, cocking a snoop and ridicule is essential to British humour.
@@loafersheffield "I'm not cocking a snoop am I" (adjust trousers) that's better, not doing it now.
oh yes, american team sports seem to be really thin skinned, your example NBA shows that very clearly. when european players are being asked in interviews, if they handle the pressure in the NBA well, always have to hold back not to burst out laughing... 😅compared to europe, there is no pressure on.😉
🙂 Only an American can ask a question like Are these legal . .well you tell me, america is very high and mighty around the 1st admnt so would these be allowed in the US ?
It's a joke title. I thought that was kind of obvious.
well it is a valid question though comming from an american .. thers quite alot about the european football culture that really doesnt compute 🙂. another thing you totally misunderstood the Bristol city fans, they were singing about them self, saying we'r stupid and can only drive a tractor.... not about other fans.....@@TheEclecticBeard
It only really becomes a problem if they go racist, etc.
Oh, I adore it when a bunch of midwits sing silly songs about the club that they follow. The club is probably owned by middle eastern sheikh or Chinese investors. The manager is foreign. All of the players are foreign, yet they align themselves with a shirt that changes it's sponsorship deal with a multi national corporation every year.
Alun, I did laugh. The chants were very silly. The Irish rugby fans reaction to their win over South Africa made me cry. It has been doing the rounds, trending.
Zombies!
Apologies. It was The Irish win over Scotland. I have had beer.
Again!
Joey Barton should have been kicked out of football permanently after he stubbed a lit cigar out in a teammate's eye as a kid...
Hehehe
Joey Barton would be fighting if he was American. 😮 LMAO
They don't the real Joey Barton.😂
If you know, you know.🙄
PS. He's out of prison now.😢
Leeds were celebrating like they won the league the other day, we were 3-0 down and it was half time. Leeds have the best fans
No sense of humour over there. 😂
Rangers fans on their way to an awaygame
👍😂😂😂❤
The best team in the world is S.W.f.C
I have heard that they are a real "hoot."
Geddit?
not even the best team in sheffield , give ya head a wobble
Is this legal?
Blatantly stealing someone else's work?🥴
I noticed a lot more people linking to the original video and providing links in the comments since the downfall of Blair and James.
Park park where ever you maybe you eat rats in your home country but it could worse youcould scouse eating rats in your home country
Might start a fight in the stands? Please, we're far too civilized for that. No, we have our 'fun' after matches over here, not during... usually.
just so you know walsall are not mighty! they are the worst team in the area and because they are a such a small dog they have Wolverhampton envy
