I'm rather mixed on what the best Tom Servo moment is - either the ENTIRE third host segment in The Violent Years, his "Tibby, Oh Tibby" song in Gamera, the one you put on the list, or his reaction to the ending of the movie they have to watch in Season 5 Episode 15. YOU KNOW THE ONE.
For me, the best ever Tom Servo moment is his beautiful ode to Creepy Girl. Kevin Murphy's singing voice is in top form, and the fact that he's singing about fish and tinker toys just makes it even better.
How about when Joel, Crow, and Gypsy are playing a dice game with a balloon on his head and than give up and just try to pop Servo's head and than cuts back from commercial in which he claims to have knowledge of the universe after not being popped from the balloon? It is the best scene of the opening and makes it so hilarious to watch the outcome of what Servo's personality is that.
One Tom Servo moment that was touching was on Star Force: Fugitive Alien 2, when he had a meltdown in the theater and Joel and Crow brought up a defibrilator to save him. I was worried, because for the short time I came to know and slwoly got addicted to MST3K (still going on with this addiction), I loved him so much
I’d put Tom’s “Jeeeeed!” moment in the top ten! And the Southern Belle, the Servo Choir, and his “I’m cute; I’m dowling!” moment! And the Canada song!!! Servo rules, and Kevin Murphy is the best Servo!
I love Tom Servo also - one item I didn't see in your list, (not that there was anything wrong with it), but one of my favorite moments is when he performed as Esther Hoffman Howard. (Ep. 610 - The Violent Years) I do agree with your #1 - I'm the wind, baby!
My favorite Tom Servo moment is from "Riding with Death" where he replaces his robot body with a trucker body and Mike makes fun of him saying he has no ass and his legs are made from pipe cleaners.
The United Servo Academy Men's Chorus is one of my top favorite host segments in the entire series. The "Funky 70s and Do you Remember the 50s" is pretty much my top favorite Servo moment. Servo becoming a butterfly is really high up there too. However, I TOTALLY agree with you about the number 1 pick. It sums up Servo perfectly!
There are no bad Servo moments, or Crow... or...... The distinct characters and their interplay is perfect. The "wormhole" sequence from "Prince of Space" (816) when they're all out of sync with each other really explains their relationships (and shows who the REAL brain of the outfit is! ^_^ )
Hey! I just found your channel a couple days ago and I love it! I binge watched all of your MST3K videos and I was instantly hooked. Then, I watched your Frozen videos and I can't believe that there is someone else who has the exact same opinion of Frozen that I do. Add that Invader Zim review and the best/worst trope videos and I have found one amazing channel! Keep up the good work! I look forward to see what you have coming up next! :)
I've always loved the Canada Song. Tom starts out singing about how great Canada is, but it turns ugly soon enough, and the line, "You lousy, stinking, Francophonic, bacon-loving bastards" cracks me up every time.
In the movie I remember Tom servo saying he’s used the machine that I forget what call it to make hot coco there need to be a MST3K Christmas card with Tom on it drinking coco in a Santa hat say seasons heatings ..
Oh man, this was good. I would have chosen Servo on the planet of The Observers putting down Mike and Crow, or having all the spoons fall out of his Observer Robe.
Great list! I'd have to say my Favorite Servo moment is a tie between that scene in The Screaming Skull where he orders a coffin & #1 on this list. And um, it could just me love for Crow talking but I'd like to see Top 10 Crow T. Robot Moments, that would be awesome :3
I read somewhere that the United Servo Academy Men’s Chorus scene on your No.02 spot for this list was actually MST3K’s way of paying tribute to those who served the US Air Force. It’s so funny, yet touching at the same time. My bestie works for the Air Force, and I’ve gotten her into MST3K (I myself have been a mstie for about a year or so now), so I’ll definitely have to show that scene to her at some point very soon.
Best. Shirt. Ever. =0) I love your MST3K videos and I hope you have a Top 10 TV's Frank Moments planned for the near future. Rock on with your bad Mistie self, and keep 'em coming!
I love when Servo try’s to take over as Captain on the satellite of love and his speech after Crow says well Tom how about you is hilarious including the line I am unfit to lead others into battle or in a line dance
My favorite Tom Servo moment is his box of toys ad from "Gamera vs. Barugon", especially when he dissolves into a Dennis Hopperish mess, a la "Blue Velvet".
Do you sell those shirts? Do you have a website? I was literally here in the comments looking to see if anyone asks where she got the shirt because I want one!!
6:10 - Young Mikey-Buns shows off his adorable hunkiness once more. Although I have a HUGE soft-spot for the sweet, drowsy, groovy, stoner-ish nerdy boyish adorkableness of sweet Joel, I still think Mike is also the bee's knees.
Tom Servo always looks as if he smiling all the time, doesn't he? Plus along with Gypsy I got a miniature Tom Servo figurine as well, but still no Crow for some sad reason.
Love Tom servo, he makes me laugh that he has to be carried into/out of the theatre but will start flying around when he finds something amusing or ridiculous - Crow makes me smile with his flapping beak.
I live in the UK and I’ll always remember the day my friend introduced me to MST3K back in the 90’s he came over saying have you heard of this show I said wait what he said please can we watch so I said ok sure to be a good friend and because I was curious the first episode I saw was overdrawn at the memory bank and the part where servo was making the fat man burp and fart had me crying with laughter since then I’ve looked on Netflix UA-cam anywhere for full episodes god bless this show and the people that made it
Maybe you could do the Top 10 Most Annoying Characters on MST3K. Personally, I hate the kid from "Pod People"and the weirdo sounding kid from "Teenage Strangler"(And he didn't steal no bike neither. I did.)
Josh had some very funny quips, the only problem I had with him was he would talk over the other two when they were in the theater. Josh wanted to do things off the cuff and everybody else wanted to do things to a script so josh left and Kevin took over for the voice of Tom. Have you seen Troops? Tom Servo makes a guest appearance in the Star Wars short. Some Jawas we're trying to steal Tom.
One of my favorite moments is the back end of Servo's butterfly phase, when he comes back looking like his old self and explains: "I'm still a beautiful butterfly, Mike, but I've been subject to a series of unfortunate happenstances, such as my wings being ripped off in an industrial accident. Well, that depressed me so I ate a bunch of Mallomars and gained the weight back. Eventually I recovered and went back to work. However, I forgot to unplug the extruder while I was cleaning it and four of my delicate butterfly legs were ripped from me. Again depressed, I hit the pecan sandies--HARD--and gained all my weight back and in my remaining arms. My arms, now in metabolic frenzy, started leeching fat from my antennae, rendering them so small as to be invisible. But I'm still a beautiful butterfly Mike and butterflies are free to fly... fly away... HIGH away...bye bye."
So! There should be enough time before the new MST3K season rolls out for one more MST video, right? Maybe? How about the top 10 recurring jokes in the series (well, 9 and The Many Names of David Ryder). Thanks for the cool videos!
Dawww, and here I was expecting the one at the end to be when they have the duplicate of Tom and he winds up listing off the entire contents of his underwear collection...
I always crack up at the episode in which Crow and Tom dogfight off screen, and in the aftermath Tom is scorched with a smoking hole in his head; doesn't even acknowledge ir or let it slow him down.
There have been several attempts to recapture the magic of MST3K, some rather good, but they all miss it when it comes to Tom. It is like the Twilight Zone. You need a specific type to introduce the story and in MST3K you need a specific type to BE Tom Servo.
Missing my top 2: 1. The Gamera Playset spiel ("Watch from high atop Tokyo Towers as the twisted worlds your create explode in rivers of blood and endless pain!") 2. Santa Claus visists the Satellite of Love. ("And the reindeer! Oh the reindeer!")
Josh 'Elvis' Weinstein was good as Servo, but he was very young and he had to put on a fake 'big boy' voice for Servo. Kevin Murphy, with his deep baritone, really fit the character perfectly in my opinion and should have been Servo from the start. Don't get me wrong, though, Weinstein is a great writer and comedian. I actually find his jokes as some of the best and most memorable in Cinematic Titanic. Great video by the way! These are some of my all time favorite Servo moments as well!
Nice vid. I'd have to say my favorite Tom Servo moment is the Tom Servo theme song (Toooooooom Serrrrrrvooooo). I think it was in the episode The Violent Years. Hey, for your next MST video, how about Top Ten Invention Exchanges?
I love your list however you missed the BEST TOM SERVO EVER!!! That would have to be "The Canada Song". This showed Tom's lack of balance. It was SO GREAT!
I love that song starting with Servo trying to be nice and sing a happy little song about America’s neighbour to the north until after Mike and Crow push him and he snaps you know Kevin Murphy was having a blast singing it
@@MegaTaylor12345 Yes. That's what really made it for me. They had a tough time calming him down, kind of like Dr. Evil's son Scotty when the laser fish were killingsomeone.

His song about Creepy Girl was truly Tom’s shining moment.

I've always loved the Canada Song. Tom starts out singing about how great Canada is, but it turns ugly soon enough, and the line, "You lousy, stinking, Francophonic, bacon-loving bastards" cracks me up every time.

They're both precious in their own way!
Hey, you forget the time where Tom paints himself, thinking it will make him a real live boy.
Or when Tom asks to be taken off the barbecue skewer, saying that he's starting to smell delicious.
Michael Weigel THE HECK!? *HAHA* SERVO YOUR NAKED!!!!
I thought the one where he got a new head was funny too.
The Servo choir singing in The Starfighters is definitely one of my favorites. I'm one of the few who really loves the movie in that episode.

Awesome picks. This show is one of the best ever made. I grew up with a lot of these movies that get riffed on this series.
I think an honorable mention should be at the end of "The Wild World of Batwoman" Tom yells: "ENNND! ENNND!"🤣
Tom Servo always looks as if he smiling all the time, doesn't he? Plus along with Gypsy I got a miniature Tom Servo figurine as well, but still no Crow for some sad reason.

David Stevens He's a wisecracker
He's definitely my second favorite next to Crow.
I love the song Tom leads during the opening credits of Girl in Lover's Lane. I love it when he sings!
I'm the wind, Baby. Fantastic :)
I laughed way more than I should have in the first Mike episode where he forgets to bring Tom over
