I'm a veteran, was actually addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Alcohol addiction actually destroyed my life. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean, much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.
I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.
Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I can't wait to get them too. Really need a reliable source 🙏
Thanks for sharing your story. That's rough I sympathize. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health. I will pray for you all.
Let me tell you, if you're on the ASD spectrum it's sbsolutrly going to induce several meltdowns, which you're unlikely to get much support around. Lol
15 days in. Feeling very proud but still a little annoyed haha. The biggest thing that has helped me has been working out first thing in the morning. This gives me some natural dopamine right when I wake up and sets the tone for my day. Good luck everyone!
Good for you, man. I was thinking about beginning to work out myself seeing as I have A LOT more time now to try and be productive. Slowly, but surely.
Aye ik everyone here prob got a full pod go ahead n throw that shi out we better than this yall look out for your body every time you hit you subtracting your days addiction is just like any other L in life and many ppl go through it but fr fr I’ve been smoking nic for years and I can feel it slowly tear away at my body and mind please people save your money and life and don’t buy another one. these are designed products to have you hooked DONT BE A MF BOT it’s 2024 we don’t need drugs to get through any problems cause its just gonna add more at the end of the day
I’m over a month free cause of u. Waited till I was ready and then just went into it like I never smoked in the first place and every day life could only get better and I’ve been high on life for the past week :)
@@LevelUpWithMatthew I’m the opposite. I quit nicotine but now I’m in the process quitting weed lol. I’m about 6 days without weed. Thank you for your support!!! You got it! Nicotine was much easier to quit then I thought it would be with watching his videos until it was engraved in my head
Day 12 and I feel like I'm over it, easy as that, it's so weird I thought I'd be dying, struggling, still grumpy and just in that "fear" and I feel damn amazing!! Energy levels are through the roof too. Yes I feel like I want to smoke still but it's so easy to over come now it doesn't phase me Just quit peeps. No more 1 last puff. Last coil, last bottle of e juice or when my battery dies I won't recharge it. Just stop right now, this second, STOP MAKING EXCUSES. Wish I had taken my own advise years ago. Stop making excuses and just quit
Yup, same here at a week with no vape/nicotine. First 8 hours were really hard, after that it was W/E. Ate a lot of sugar and Candy during the first few days when I would get a craving, seemed to work pretty well.
After 3 months are u still clean? I quit cold turkey but keep relapsing. I made it 4 months before getting drunk and buying cigarettes. I didn't want to buy a vape becuase i find it more addicting than cigarettes. I will smoke a pack and quit for a month but i keep relapsing. The cravings still hit hard even after months of not using.
I was in the exact same boat as you. I've been telling myself I'd quit for at least 2 years now, off and on. I finally made a concerted effort 2 weeks ago and it was surprisingly easy. I figured I would have bad withdrawals considering the amount of nicotine I was taking in, but I only suffered from cravings. After about 3 days, it's been a breeze. Overjoyed that I've finally managed to kick the dependence.
I’ve been vaping for 10 years, this is the 3rd time I’ve quit. It’s day 2. Praying to the Lord gives you all the strength you need to get through the withdrawals, they weren’t even as bad this time and I’m only on day 2. My friend said that she prayed to the lord and he took away her desire completely, no withdrawals whatsoever. With God all things are possible, just ask him and he will give you strength. Side note, my husband is still vaping and I’m around it 24/7. 95 percent of quitting is mindset and prayer, you can do all things through Christ even when it feels impossible
35 day’s nicotine free! Started smoking cigs in 2015, and began vaping in 2021. I would vape pretty heavily. I quit cold turkey 35 days ago. I was getting shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and wheezing when laying down. Gave my vape to my wife to throw away and told her I’m done with these damn things. My wheezing has gotten 10x better, and I feel great. First few days was rough, I kept reaching for a vape in my car. Almost like it was muscle memory. After about 2 weeks, it was cake. My brother and friends can vape around me all day and I don’t care to smoke or anything. Every now and then I’ll get a little bit of chest discomfort, I think it’s my lungs still healing from all the chemicals and crap. Keep going guys, you got this!
I met someone 2 1/2 years ago at 26 and started vaping with them for first time. Today they are not in my life anymore but I never thought I’d be addicted and vaping chronically throughout the day, every day. Its been almost a year and It’s hard to let go of that relationship until I let go of this. But today i feel ready. Here’s to day 1
Just about to crack the first 72 from THC and nicotine. Insomnia heavy, pooling in sweat when I do finally fall asleep. Quite constant frustration and arguing with myself within my head, almost cried multiple times for no reason. Other than that, I'm feeling confident and strong. Almost there now! Hold strong everyone ❤️
6 days from quitting vaping. Holy hell, i went through a gamut of physical and emotional trauma 😢...This video helps me understand and remind me that its all temporary. The long term benefits totally outweighs the temporary withdrawal effects. To a healthy and smoke frew life y'all!
I'm in the process of quitting vaping the 5% stuff about every 15 minutes. I had it BAD. I tried cold turkey but I honestly got physically ill and experienced some of the most soul crushing depression I've ever known. I opted for the tapering off approach instead and in the space of one week, I have cut my nicotine usage by about 95%. It has NOT been easy, like a gnawing hunger that comes over me at random times. I anticipate being nic free by next week. Go me! I've never been prouder of anything in my entire life.
@@lucassredzinski8671 I beat it for 2 weeks but compromised with chewing tobacco. I almost immediately went back to salt nic just as bad as it was before. I just quit for the second time this week and am determined to not compromise in any way. I guess we'll see after another 5 months but I tapered down and got through the 3 day withdrawal period. I can now go all day with none. Still get a mild craving now and then but I'm so damned sick of having the monkey on my back. I'm done. I'm enjoying being able to go places without sneaking around like a crackhead to hit the vape pen. You can do it but you have to realize what a trashy, ridiculous habit it is, first.
Former vaper for 2 years. Quit vaping around 2 months ago after watching this channel and I honestly lost track of exactly how many days its been! I can't be more happy, to remove those chains, break free from that habit. I feel so much positive change in myself in all aspects of my life. I can't thank this channel enough for giving me that push and right mindset to conquer this obstacle. Sure I get a craving here and there, but each day that passes, the cravings go away quicker and come less often. When the going gets tough, our mindset is truly is what is gonna allow us to conquer any obstacle in our path. This goes with nicotine addiction and all challenges of life we go through. All our journeys will be tough, but I assure you all, it will all be worth it for the longevity of our lives! I believe in you all! “One moment of pain is worth a lifetime of glory.” -Louis Zamperini
I’m 2.5 weeks in quitting vaping. I feel so much better already. Yours video’s helped a lot to motivate me to quit. I was with a friend who vapes and I managed to control myself and not give in to the temptation. Thank you so much
I'm on day 8 after picking up a vaping habit 4 years ago. I chose to vape to help me quit dip after a stressful deployment. I've been using nicotine off and on for 18 years. I realized that there is no end game for nicotine, it doesn't work towards anything long-term. I've been mentally cataloging the withdrawal day to day. Day 1-3 was surprisingly simple, I think day 4-7 was the hardest. I even partied pretty hard with friends and was able to not relapse after a complete night of drinking. I'm excited for the 3 month mark.
Update. Going on 8 weeks no nicotine. Still get random cravings, usually after breakfast. No real side effects or withdrawal symptoms. I feel like it will take about 4 months for the nicotine receptors to die off.
@jacksonp7877 I quit all nicotine January of 2023. I did take a couple pulls off a friends vape in March of 2023. I wanted to test to see if I could pick and choose when to do it and not be addicted. Most of the cravings go away after a couple months. I wish I could tell you they completely go away but even right now thinking about it I would like to vape.
If you’re trying to quit and experiencing a strong craving thinking to yourself, “What’s one more puff gonna hurt.” WAIT 5 minutes! Cravings typically last 5 minutes, or less. So before you take that drag challenge yourself to simply wait 5 minutes. More often than not, you will become distracted with something else and forget about the craving all together. It’s no longer all-encompassing and becomes more manageable. Don’t believe me? Try it. It surprised me on how quickly you can overcome something that, in the moment, felt so overwhelming.
I’m almost 2 weeks nicotine free. I smoked cigarettes for years, then started the juul. It was so hard to quit and I was not sure if I could do it. I am not going back now. Thank you for these videos! ❤
Started at 11, stopped at 22. 27 now and couldn’t be more happy. One of the hardest things I’ve done but I’m happy now that it’s done, and that’s what you have to remember is that there is an end point, you WILL feel better after feeling bad now as that is the sacrifice. CBD no nic cigarettes and CBD vapes helped a ton, cold turkey on nic otherwise. My advise would be Stop counting the days, if you decide in your mind to quit in full confidence, you quit period. Instead of counting, it is managing, until it is over, and it WILL be over. It always passes with time.
It’s definitely my last day today I just threw my vape away I’m done tired of the sickness also I will do it cold turkey God is on my side that’s all that matters I have strong faith in me 🙏🏾 will update you guys in the future please pray for me.
I'm quitting today, we'll get through this.🙏♥️ We gotta replace our bad habits with good habits. I quit weed, and now I'm done with this nicotine addiction. Stay strong💪🙏
I just threw my Elf Bar from the balcony!!! 😂 I just quit! I smoked cigarettes for 15 years and quit and then vaped for 7 years as a substitute, I’m over it!! I can’t let it take control of me anymore I hate the anxiety and depression it’s giving me I’m over being addicted to something that’s hurting me more than helping.
Same I quit smoking over 2 yrs ago took up vaping instead "temporarily" abd in my opinion its worse than smoking cigarettes cuz I can do it all the time basically anywhere. Have been struggling to quit vaping ever since but trying agin today cold turkey 💪🏽🤞🏽
Just got through the 1st 72 hours! It wasn't east, but was not too hard. I did find myself waking up in the middle of the night and unable to go back to sleep! Still pretty tough but I feel like I can keep going!
just made it through the first 72 hours and now i’m on day 4. No headache, no withdrawal symptoms really. Ive vaped for 4 years and don’t know why i didn’t quit sooner lol
For me I’ve never really gotten much physical withdraws, it’s the emotional withdrawals that kick you in the ass, the constant rage and irritability over EVERYTHING and bawling constantly over nothing
I’ve been a vaper for 2 years. I’m now on 2 weeks of quitting and I feel so much better. It’s really not that hard to quit for me atleast, the key is to sell or throw away ur vape.
Thank you for this. I’m on day two of cold turkey. I was on one Elf bar daily for the past 3 months after I threw away my vape device. I started smoking at 14 years old and I’m now 48. This clear and concise explanation of the withdrawal process and your direct focus on ‘the first 72 hours’ is really helpful. I’ve been getting up early and jogging round the block (about a mile) and drinking sparkling water. Thanks again for this video, which I’ll watch again, if things become overwhelming 👍
The way I did it was, kept lowering my nic slowly until I was vaping zero nic liquid, vaped zero nic for a month, threw my vape mod in the trash....Zero withdrawals....
I did something similar, I reduced my nic intake to 3mg for like 2 weeks and then just threw all my shit away. I havent vaped nicotine in 5 days and I have notice that I have more ENGERY im less tired. Cravings are there for me especially around the time I usually vaped (after eating, driving to work, etc.) but manageable. Flavored carbonated water also helps me a little bit.
@convicc awesome. It was 100% worth It. Took me almost 2 month to not have any cravings anymore. Realy was torture in the beginning. Smoke free App was kinda helpfull.
No way someone has quit the same week as me, i just stopped vaping like 2 and half days ago and im relief and motivated to see someone that’s basically quitting the same time as me and going through the 72 hours stages. Thank you bro🙏
You just made me realize this about dopamine: If I have anxiety about an exam, my mind doesn't just crave dopamine, it craves dopamine from me studying and feeling good about the test. But instead, if I feed it nicotine, my mind receives the dopamine it's looking for but the problem is still there, I just think it's ok now. Until I realize I'm not at all ready for that test. So I've avoided studying because I didn't think I needed to, and now I have less time to study and an even bigger anxiety is coming.
came to this video as im on day 2 and hacking up a LUNG here, thankful this is normal!! Ive tried to quit 3-4 times before over the past 5 years but this time has been so much better with the withdrawls, I actually believe this is the time thats gonna work!
I just got past my first 72 hours. This morning I woke up and decided to start working out with dance workouts and I have to say it’s really helped me. If I think about it, I just do 10 mins of dancing and it really helps put it out of my head. Hoping I can keep it up. 😁
Quit 3 days ago. Feel so light headed. I don’t miss the nicotine or head rush, I just miss doing something with my hand. Eating celery sticks while driving and that DEFINITELY HELPS with the oral fixation.
Smoked 10 yrs...gave up using vape for 3 mths...gave up vaping using unhealthy food for 1 mth....now back on track with healthy meal plans. Motivation to quit was getting a dog who needed regular outdoor activities.....and the idea of simply breathing a bonus 😁
I just went 28 hours without vaping and while I was out with a friend, the withdrawals weren’t that bad but they peaked once I got home. A month ago, I went to Universal Studios in Orlando with my cousin and I didn’t take my vape with me. Went a good 8 hours without vaping and I didn’t even think about vaping at all until I got in the car and started driving back home
This is the 4th day of my NIC withdrawal journey and am glad I hurdled the most critical 72 hours..I'm 60 years old and started smoking when I was 22. So fàr minor symptoms has manifested like in the past 3 days like lightheadidness, lot of sweating, insomnia, slight cough and I felt like disoriented for a while on the 2nd day. Your videos had helped me a lot on this journey, at least I prepared myself for the possible symptoms. Thanks and Godbless.
I had peak on the 10th day, when my body fully was collapsing due to vaping addiction. Although, the days before I was fine. Don't let it trick you! Be prepared and couscous within 1st month.
Bit of advice from me, i switched from smoking to vaping 1 year ago, chose a high MG vape for a month or 2, then reduce and reduce the amount of nicotine while still vaping at all normal times, then eventually no nic for about a month then just stopped. Easiest way to taper off. Before i tried this id tried cold turkey many times and failed with all these horrible withdrawals. But do it the way i just said and its actually quite easy and you dont get the withdrawals.
5:20 seconds into the video and he’s spoke too much truth to not sort my addiction out. Just emptied my vape and put shortfill 0 nic juice in my vape, tomorrow is the start of my 0 nicotine days… even if I must use the vape a little at least it has no nicotine. Wish me luck
Did this at the beginning of the year then started back again after being 4 months clean cuz of a beach trip with friends… almost passed out today working out and that made it clear I needed to stop again cuz I was in a way better place mentally and physically when I stopped the first time
Today it has been exactly 4 weeks since I quit both cigarettes and marijuana cold turkey at the same time which I have done both everyday for over a decade and I am constantly having the worst nightmares I have ever experienced
I quit tobacco a couple months ago and have been vaping since. I know I want to quit nicotine and this video has just motivated me to quit starting right now. Thank you
On day 15 cold turkey from vaping. All thanks to Jesus. Was never able to do cold turkey before when quitting cigarettes. Been tough but feel so free! No going back, ever.
I’m quitting today, man I’m scared. This is worth it but it’s gonna be hard - 3 years vaping and I’m starting to cough a lot. Good vibes to you! I hope you’re still not vaping!
I just feel like for the most part when its time to quit, its time to quit. I've used nicotine every day for the past 12 years and literally slept with my vape under my pillow. I've been wanting to quit forever, dropped my vape one day, it broke, I never replaced it, and thus quit very "easy". I was ready for it, just needed an excuse that was out of my control
I’ve been 2 weeks free and feel completely normal now. On day 3 I felt pure rage and felt insanely strong and wanted to break everything around me. Day 4 and on everything went back to normal.
Amazing vid.... been smoking cigs for 10 yrs (1 pack a day). replaced cigs with vaping for one year. On my 6th day now kicking the vape. Im really looking forward to the 3 week mark!!
UPDATE: almost 4 weeks now. No vape in between but had 1 cig (in over a yr!) on a social drinking event. felt so bad after as i was makimg good progress. That one slip costed me almost 1 week of stronger cravings!!! Luckily nothjng since, but it took some will power and still fighting it. It would have been smoother for sure if i didnt cave in the one cig a week ago
Anyone who sees this take the journey its a good and healthy one you will feel so much more in control of ur own body 🙏 first weeks are hard but it’s worth it anyone battling keep going if there’s a will there’s a way . 6 months nic free
I've completely run out of juice and coils. Used to smoke and switched to vape. Find I don't need vape when I'm working / busy. So I know I can quit . So far I have only lasted one day . But tonight is my last puff then I'm done. Thanks for the vid and all these comments are so Inspiring. I'll check back in in 1 week churrrrrr
Put the vape down because I can't sleep and haven't been sleeping. I don't plan on picking it back up. I just know I need the strength to keep it up. I do start a new job in about 5 days, so I'm hoping it's not too bad after the next 72 hours
1/4/22 I told myself I was going to stop for months now, and after a few years of heavy smoking Im going flatline. Wish me luck, I really need to get my health in check. see yall in a few days. these comments make me feel really good about letting it go and my wallet will thank me later. current time is 7:17pm
I quit cold and the migraines were insane. I was rushed to the ER a few days ago because I thought I was having an aneurysm. The pressure in my skull was unreal. Yes, it can be more than bad.
@@socheetv3394 Thanks for responding. I hope you get better soon. I am vaping again ONLY so I can wean off slowly. Trying cold is not an option after what happened.
24 hours with my vape been using it for a very long time and I’m just hoping I can stick to it so far I’m actually feeling ok Edit: two weeks in now and I’m having cravings but doing alright
I quit cold turkey a few weeks ago. Best decision I ever made. I have been coughing so bad my wife thought I had bronchitis, but anyway, it is worth it to go cold turkey. He is absolutely correct in every way.
Not that I’m completely out of the addiction, but how I stopped was… I started getting a deep wheezing and was completely out of breathe going a few steps, so I stopped right then and there, I told myself it was from vaping.Day 1-3:very irritable. Days3-7;shaky, urge to vape, head fog, coughing up huge amounts of phlegm. Days 7-14 the urge went away, heart racing, coughing. The best thing that has gotten me through it is “it’s going to be tough but just get through the hardest times and it will all go away.” And I believe that’s true. I just kind of convinced myself that I hated it and that is what helped me move along this far.
The benefit in using patches is that it addresses the second obstacle in quiting: the habitual, physical motions of smoking (i.e., the reaching for, the sucking of...) BEFORE you quit. BOTH aspects of quiting must be overcome. It doesn't really matter which aspect you address first, unless, of course, you know which aspect is the most difficult for you.
Vaped heavily from grade 9-first year college so about a good 4-5 years recently stopped that for almost a month now and it feels bless to be able to do what so many can’t be the bigger person and just quit, isn’t worth your health
I've been getting some really hard headaches on my right temple lately from disposable vapes. Today i threw away all my vapes. Hope to tell you guys how my journey goes
@@str8fo0dstampz_63 I lost track but it's been around 8 weeks now nicotine free. I've been offered cigs, my room mate smokes, all my friends smoke a ton and I've been able to just say no. I chewed a lot of gum and toothpicks, for the first week I made my bathroom a sauna, and after 5 weeks I started buying hemp cbd cigarettes to smoke when drinking or with smoker friends and it's helped. I honestly feel like I'm never gonna touch nicotine again unless the world ends or something.
I used extra strong nicotine pouches, lots of them, was popping one after another. My withdrawals were mild- I only experienced anger and sweating on day 2. Today is day 5, and it's the first day when I experienced ZERO nicotine cravings. I honestly can't believe it. Now I truly believe knowledge is key, and thanks to our wonderful Dr Frank all of us can learn the nature of addiction and give up so fast!!
@@joeyzaremba9625 I smoked for around 6 years and then switched to the pouches, because of smell, going out fir a cig everytime etc. It was super easy to switch, once I started doing pouches I didn't even think of smoking, as both of them contain nicotine. What I'm describing in the comment above is quitting the pouches
Threw my vape out the car window on New Years on a full pod. I said I’d do it so I’m doing it. I’m 5 days in! Feel better already try eating/sucking on mints every time you get a craving it works like a dream.
Weirdly I didn’t have bad withdrawal symptoms at first, but now it’s been three weeks of no vaping and I keep having dreams about smoking which is the hardest part. I think this is the worst cravings I’ve had yet so I hope it goes away soon.
I’ve been vaping for 2 years straight now. I’m 20 years old and I’ve been depressed and lost so much weight. I am on my 2nd day of quitting vaping. And honestly, just like the guy said in this video, just have a good mindset. Think about how much better you’re going to feel once you stop smoking.
the thing about quitting is that i get horrible dissassociation (mainly when driving) that’s the thing that breaks me. But I am going to try to see if I just keep going it will go away.
I've been on patches for the past 3 weeks, currently on step 2 to quit vaping. When I woke up this morning I forgot to put my patch on and noticed hours later that I didn't have one. I decided not to put one on and surprisingly I didn't feel the urge to for the whole day. Unfortunately, I had plans to go out with friends and I got extremely anxious so I brought a patch with me just in case and I ended up putting it on. After watching this video, I just took it off and will be setting the next 3 to 4 days aside for personal time to deal with withdrawals. In the first few days of quitting it was easier than I thought so I also tried not putting a patch on one day but I ended up in bed shaking with cold sweats and nausea, so I put one on. I never knew nicotine patches were a bad thing, but at least I'm a step down from 21mg to 14mg, which should help with the physical withdrawals. Thank you for this video, I can't wait to throw away these patches, detox and start to recover
@@kingkap7250 don't say that man! We're in this together. If I read shit like that it'll make me feel like I'm locked in a box myself. That's not the case for any of us, we can and will get through this
The depression is serious I literally haven’t cried in years and some bad shit happened while I was quitting and it broke me 🤦🏽♂️ but I’ve learned to help against that is to have someone in your life to talk to and make sure you tell them before you get off that you may get angry/depressed
I quit 3 days ago. Day 1: ugh this sucks Day 2: I’m better I think Day 3: this is the worst yet. Day 4: *idk yet but I’m hoping it’s better than today*
Today is the day, i swear I am never going back to that awful habit. I have gone back and forth so many times, relapsing over and over again for the last 5 years. No longer will I be controlled by vaping, no longer will I let my money and health be drained by such an awful addiction. I likely already have permanent lung damage, But it is Okay.. I can still rectify the poor decisions of my youth. If I can make it a day, I can make it a week, if I can make it a week, a month, if one month then one year, if one year then one lifetime. To all the people looking for motivation to quit- don’t give up every second counts, the urge is fleeting I promise
If someone had a twin. And one of the twins smoked. And the other twin never smokes. Then in the end. The twin might not look the same. If one of them ha's aged from smoking
Surely the intensity of the withdrawal is directly correlated with the amount of nicotine used regularly? So cutting down slowly to avoid a very harsh withdrawal is the preferable course for plenty of people, myself included. Sure, the withdrawal was prolonged, but it was so gradual that I barely even noticed, whereas going cold turkey from very high consumption will bring on withdrawal severe enough to make a strong person turn back to the nicotine
I’m on day two, it hasn’t been as bad as previous times that I’ve tried to quit but this morning my lungs are hurting and I’m shaking a lot. Trying to stay positive
@@Ethan-tt9ei yeeeeeaaaaahhhhh buddy I’m doing great now, still have some cravings but it’s all just mental now. If you’re thinking about quitting. Do it. Asap there’s no time to waste and you will feel better than a million bucks.
For me I want to quit but I find myself driving to the vape store and on the way theres a mental struggle but I tell myself this is the last time this is the last time... This time is for real I will quit.
I've been playing with nicotine since I was 9 years old im 30 now. I started smoking at 9 and never stopped until about 3 years ago. I could smoke 30 to 40 smokes a day easy. I ate them loved them and decided to stop smoking using the vape and vaped high nicotine 40mg to 50mg. I chained vaped!!! There's something about smoke or vape hitting lungs I just loved it. Anyway it was time to stop. So I quit for 2 months then relapsed for 2 weeks but only went back to 3mg of nicotine. I'm trying again and today is my second day vape free. It's hard my lungs want that sensation 24/7 but I'm dealing with it alot better. I've got it this time I reckon. I'm not going to be a slave to nicotine any longer
@kolton6648 I managed to quit for 2 months then I vaped again for a week I've stopped again and I'm now 20 odd days in now. I still crave a vape most days tbh but yeah defiantly not out of the woods yet but this is the longest I've gone and I'm trying to stick it out
@@sliding_kiwi_843 dude I’m 28 since like 12 I was smoking cigs, chewing dip, and vaping for like 13 years. I’m on my third day without it. My biggest problem is I don’t even wanna quit. I just know I should. But for now I’m just going without it hoping that I’ll end up being happy without it. But tbh a beer and a few hits sounds great to me lol. But keep going strong I always remind myself when I was vaping I smoked it so much that the hits didn’t even get me buzzed anymore anyway
as someone who has quit multiple times (relapse genuinely from the bottom of my heart due to boredom and some cravings) i have chosen to quit for good. my best advice for the 3 day mark is... don't be sedentary. do something. go on a vacation and don't bring nicotine. you will be more likely to focus on other activities and not think about it as much! hope this helped

It’s day 2. My friend said that she prayed to the lord and he took away her desire completely, no withdrawals whatsoever. With God all things are possible, just ask him and he will give you strength.

I can now go all day with none. Still get a mild craving now and then but I'm so damned sick of having the monkey on my back. I'm done.

You just made me realize this about dopamine:
If I have anxiety about an exam, my mind doesn't just crave dopamine, it craves dopamine from me studying and feeling good about the test.

I quit cold turkey a few weeks ago. Best decision I ever made. I have been coughing so bad my wife thought I had bronchitis, but anyway, it is worth it to go cold turkey. He is absolutely correct in every way.
Irritability, tiredness and a craving is what I get from nicotine withdrawal
3 minutes in and its been rough but I feel like I've got this.
The benefit in using patches is that it addresses the second obstacle in quiting: the habitual, physical motions of smoking (i.e., the reaching for, the sucking of...) BEFORE you quit. BOTH aspects of quiting must be overcome. It doesn't really matter which aspect you address first, unless, of course, you know which aspect is the most difficult for you.

i’m on day 2 of quitting, this is my 4th time trying but i think i’ve got it this time.
This is my 4th time trying as well, 14 hours in. You got this!
How's it going Olivia?
I’m so glad I’ve quit vaping, taking one step at a time and replacing bad habits with positive ones 🙏
Day 5! Day 3 was the hardest. It’s possible y’all! Just get over the 3 day hump. Just drink a lot of water
Threw my vape out the car window on New Years on a full pod. I said I’d do it so I’m doing it. I’m 5 days in! Feel better already try eating/sucking on mints every time you get a craving it works like a dream.
how is it so far?
Weirdly I didn’t have bad withdrawal symptoms at first, but now it’s been three weeks of no vaping and I keep having dreams about smoking which is the hardest part. I think this is the worst cravings I’ve had yet so I hope it goes away soon.
@Heavyhead2k1 inspiring sorry dude. I’m glad you didn’t carry on using.
Lmao my boy said I had dreams about smoking lol. That’s how joint know it’s real lol
Me too 🙄
I've been on patches for the past 3 weeks, currently on step 2 to quit vaping.
Day one : hell
Day two : more hell
Day 3 : a lot better now :)
I find day 3 v hard though.
days1-3 weren't terrible, i'm on day 4 and i have a throbbing headache and i feel like shit
@Zach Symonette bro fr... I legit cannot quit.
@@kingkap7250 don't say that man! We're in this together. If I read shit like that it'll make me feel like I'm locked in a box myself. That's not the case for any of us, we can and will get through this

I'm finding vaping addiction even harder than quitting normal cigs. Yeah I get some insomnia but mainly depression though.
The depression is serious I literally haven’t cried in years and some bad shit happened while I was quitting and it broke me 🤦🏽♂️ but I’ve learned to help against that is to have someone in your life to talk to and make sure you tell them before you get off that you may get angry/depressed
I am surprised how hard it is to quit vaping. I was on the lowest level of nicotine. This is my fifth day and maybe it’s subsiding. Hope so.
@@heartattacknow how’re you doing now? Just hit 24 hours and was using lowest before quit
@@theunknownartist1197 It’s getting easier. It’s been a month now , and I still reach for it, but not as often.
For real what’s with that? Its been over a month for me still struggling but it’s getting easier the depression and crying is unreal tho
I was suprised to see 716, man this is an eye opener. I've stopped vaping, using velo pouches rn and once I run out I'm done
I quit 3 days ago.
Day 1: ugh this sucks
Day 2: I’m better I think
Day 3: this is the worst yet.
Day 4: *idk yet but I’m hoping it’s better than today*
how you doing now?
Did not look for this video, but know i am thinking of quit vaping.thank you man
I'm on day 3. Had the urge to just say F it and take a hit. Conquered that urge and didn't look back. I'm going strong boys!
1 month clean
@@christiancarpenter1028 nice
Are you still on the journey?
@@nbajellytm8014 yes sir. Coming up on 3 months.
Let’s go
Surely the intensity of the withdrawal is directly correlated with the amount of nicotine used regularly?
So cutting down slowly to avoid a very harsh withdrawal is the preferable course for plenty of people, myself included.
Sure, the withdrawal was prolonged, but it was so gradual that I barely even noticed, whereas going cold turkey from very high consumption will bring on withdrawal severe enough to make a strong person turn back to the nicotine
I’m on day two, it hasn’t been as bad as previous times that I’ve tried to quit but this morning my lungs are hurting and I’m shaking a lot. Trying to stay positive
Still going strong?
@@Ethan-tt9ei yeeeeeaaaaahhhhh buddy I’m doing great now, still have some cravings but it’s all just mental now. If you’re thinking about quitting. Do it. Asap there’s no time to waste and you will feel better than a million bucks.
Quit yesterday. Been tapering down to just 3 mg so it’s not too bad so far
10 years of cigarettes/vaping addiction. Longest i quit for was 5-6 months. Trying again on day 1 today. Wish me luck lmao
Good luck!
still ?
@@RealPezi nah im on nic pouches now, the whole cold turkey thing doesnt work for long unless u isolate yourself from everyone and everything lol
Did you make it out the struggle?
@kolton6648 bro I'm the exact same I'm just seeing how long I can go I can relate to you 100 percent man haha
@@sliding_kiwi_843 are you feeling any better being 20 days in or so? Im in the “flip the fuck out for no reason” stage rn
as someone who has quit multiple times (relapse genuinely from the bottom of my heart due to boredom and some
cravings) i have chosen to quit for good. my best advice for the 3 day mark is... don't be sedentary. do something. go on a vacation and don't bring nicotine. you will be more likely to focus on other activities and not think about it as much! hope this helped
