Smash 4's long start-up was what kept me from wanting to start the game every time, because I was so scared the Wii U was gonna explode. Then again, Breath of the Wild was no better with that crappy Home Menu loading.

Im a cloud main. But I never played him in 4, I didnt buy dlc, and also I stopped playing the game when he came out and I didnt even know he came out. I just played him in ultimate and hes my main now. I used to main bayonneta (in ultimate) but then I realized that she really isnt that good so I switched ro cloud.

Smash 4 was my first smash game and my childhood favorite. I played with my brother were twins and the same age. Smash 4 taught me everything going from not playing very well to pulling off combos and tricks and techniques. I will always love no matter what u say ❤

I honestly miss Smash 4. The 3DS smash was my first Smash Game and I got a Wii U when Mario Maker came out and got Smash 4 about 2 months after. I ended up getting a lot better over time (maybe like around mid-2016)and started watching a lot of competitive. I will miss when Salem beat ZeRo in EVO 2017 as it was HYPE. Once Ultimate came out I started playing less and became less interested in competitive, even though it is peaking with the Melee people joining. I haven’t played Ultimate too much lately but I still like it, but those Smash 4 days I’ll still miss. Smash 4 was my first smash game, and the first one I played. Ultimate is better in my opinion. Although smash 4 was the best game in the series before ultimate, and it's the entire reason that I bought my wiiu :).
Smash 4 is a horrible game even when playing casually. The engine is too slow and floaty to have fun casually. All other smash games are more fun casually

Loxu I can agree with 4 but the other three have good argument. I’ll be honest that the Dedede one was because I prefer smash 4 dedede. His bad match ups are still bad even with the new inhale. I would rather dedede be more stylish than mid tier. I liked smash 4 D3 because he was just fun and his low tier aspects didn’t bother me as much. The buffer system I this game is trash. There was so much complaint about it. Smash 4’s was smoother while this one just fucks you over sometimes. The moving plat added variety to stages and still would in ult.
@@vaquero2322 I'm coming back to this comment I didn't usually play smashville or town and city but town and city is essentially smashville with moving platforms and honestly it makes that map one of the more annoying to play on. the side platforms coming in fucking up edgeguards the map has a high ceiling and is less wide than other maps I'd pick smashville over town and city any day of the week. The buffer system in smash ultimate is great because it uses every input you do. If you were "fucked over" by it, its completely your fault because you buffered that input.

The balloon knockback was way more significant in the demo, iirc. It took effect at much lower knockbacks than it does now.

I honestly miss Smash 4. The 3DS smash was my first Smash Game and I got a Wii U when Mario Maker came out and got Smash 4 about 2 months after. I ended up getting a lot better over time (maybe like around mid-2016)and started watching a lot of competitive. I will miss when Salem beat ZeRo in EVO 2017 as it was HYPE. Once Ultimate came out I started playing less and became less interested in competitive, even though it is peaking with the Melee people joining. I haven’t played Ultimate too much lately but I still like it, but those Smash 4 days I’ll still miss.

Smash 4 was my first smash game, and the first one I played. Ultimate is better in my opinion. Although smash 4 was the best game in the series before ultimate, and it's the entire reason that I bought my wiiu :).

Smash 4 is a horrible game even when playing casually. The engine is too slow and floaty to have fun casually. All other smash games are more fun casually

I can agree with 4 but the other three have good argument.
I’ll be honest that the Dedede one was because I prefer smash 4 dedede. His bad match ups are still bad even with the new inhale. I would rather dedede be more stylish than mid tier. I liked smash 4 D3 because he was just fun and his low tier aspects didn’t bother me as much.
The buffer system I this game is trash. There was so much complaint about it. Smash 4’s was smoother while this one just fucks you over sometimes.
The moving plat added variety to stages and still would in ult.

@@vaquero2322 I'm coming back to this comment I didn't usually play smashville or town and city but town and city is essentially smashville with moving platforms and honestly it makes that map one of the more annoying to play on. the side platforms coming in fucking up edgeguards the map has a high ceiling and is less wide than other maps I'd pick smashville over town and city any day of the week.
The buffer system in smash ultimate is great because it uses every input you do. If you were "fucked over" by it, its completely your fault because you buffered that input.
