These are spectacular.....the amount of work is so unbelievable in these....along with keeping track of the filming / editing. Thank you so much for sharing all this. I absolutely am in love with the last little bit where you switched out the tabby weft to white. This would make a breathtaking coverlet!! Once again, thanks for all the work you share with us!

Thank goodness you noticed the error, and knew what caused it, and could correct it.

Gorgeous! I just wish I could see them in person - but I moved so won't be able to. :( I've always loved your use of color, just stunning!

Wow ... lots of work. I have done the same thing and had to rip it out. Good catch even if it was about 3 inches.

How do you like the Lofty Fibers lease stick “organizers”? Thinking of getting them for my Spring 2. Nice job on the overshot, haven’t done much of that as yet (newer weaver). Greetings from Neenah.

I decided that my DH needs to create a tablet software for me that I can mount in sightline to my work, and that shows the next/current treadle and colour in the pattern and advances when it hears the double wack of my beater. Plain and simple. Otherwise, I too am and clipboard and pencil person. Although for my larger tartans I have it on the wall with a magnet, and a magnet marker for what line I'm on. My son 3d printed me some cubes that I can put on my work when I walk away that show me which treddle is next, and I leave the next color shuttle on the work too to confirm it all. The hoops we all have to jump through to mark our work, eh?

How long are your warps, usually? That's a mighty impressive roll of weaving!!!

I’m guessing you don’t have cats. You can’t drop Yarn‘s that long with a cat. You’re looking at grade a surgery inducing butt floss that way. They will eat longer threads and get their whole digestive track in problematic trouble that is very expensive to fix. Some cats go after it, and far more girly than others, I now have a bin for scrap yards, and it’s safe from cat curiosity, but we used to have cats that you had butterfly them up and slice the butterfly, so nothing was longer than 2 inches. They would sometimes go into the linen kitchen, trash to dig out interesting looking, long strings. I’m sorry your weaving was being so frustrating, but it was looking gorgeous.

It doesn't do a robot vacuum much good either when you miss one. That was a costly mistake.

I' m sorry your cats were such a problem. Our last cat died about two years ago, and none of our (three) cats ever ate yarn. Tangled it, yes, but ate it, NO.

    Unweaving is quite awful.....
