    Whoah whoah yeah...
    Children Hold on..... Believe!
    (chorse)
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
    to show the way...
and love will shine on you one day...
This old world is very cold.
It favors not, the young or old...
Life is hard, and so unfair....
Unless you believe that someone cares....
Someone who's there rain or shine...
sharing your dreams, your heart, and your mind...
    Hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
to show the way...(it gonna show you the way, it's gonna show you the way)
and love will shine on you one day...
Yeah, Step by step straight ahead,
though the road be hard to tread yeah...
What you get is what you do,
and you'll find out that love is
    truly stronger then hate,
all you need is your faith...
    in your dreams....
(it's gonna show you the way, it's
    gonna show yoou the way)
believe in love, let love be the light
    to show the way...
and love will shine on you one day...humm
This old world goes around and around, sometimes this world can get you down...
Just don't give up... don't dismay...
What goes around comes around they say.
And if the sun, should fails to shine....,
dreams are sunshine of the mind.
    Hold on to your dreams...
Dreams are the wings of the mind you can fly..anytime you like....yeah
and love will shine on you one day.
    (chorse)
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
    to show the way...
and love will shine on you one day.
whoah whoah yeah yeah yeah. myyyy
Yeah, Step by step straight ahead,
though the road be hard to tread yeah...
What you get is what you do,
and you'll find out that love is
    truly stronger then hate,
all you need is your faith...
    in your dreams....
(it's gonna show you the way, it's
gonna show you the way yeah) believe in love, let love be the light
    to show the way...
and love will shine on you one day.
    (chorse)
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
    to show the way...
and love will shine on you one day...
And if the sun, just fails to shine,
dreams are the sunshine of the mind.
    Hold on....yeah
Dreams are the wings of the mind you can fly..anytime you like. yeah
and love will smile on you one day...
I know success is on your mind,
but the ladder's is hard not to climb.
At the top ah...there's room for all it's
just the bottom is crowded yaw..
    (chorse)
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
to show the way... (let it show you the way, let it show you the way)
and love will smile on you one day..yeah
    (Whoah Whoah;........)
Believe a little love, and love will be the light to show the way. Yeah
Dreams are the wing of the mind, you can fly and time you like. Well
    Whoah...oooo.
    hold on... yeah,yeah..
    (TALKING PART)
hu hu yeah, But you this world is cold, you know
it don't make no difference whether your young or old...
    It so unfair...
Unless somebody, unless somebody really believes.. I mean they have some somebody there to care. I'm talking about through the hard time and the bad times...sharing you dreams, your thoughts your heart, your mind.
    (chorse)
Children hold on... to your dreams...(oh oh)
believe in love, let love be the light
    to show the way...
and love will shine on you one day... Oh let love be the light
let me show you the way let me show you the way.
And sucesses ahh, theres room for all
    (chorse)
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
    to show the way...
and love will shine on you one day... (repeat).
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
to show the way... (let it show you the way, let it show you the way)
and love will smile on you one day..
Dreams are the wing of the mind, you can fly and time you like.
    whoah... hold hold yeah. (repeat)
    Hold on to your dream..
    let it show ya
    let it show ya
    let it show ya
Ha ha ha ha...yeah you know sometimes obsticles in life can really knock you down..yeah
And life can really make you feel that nobody give a damn.. I know it's hard, and it's cold and unfair, but if you keep one thing on your mind, and that thing is whatever you do.. you can make it...and just trust in yourself and hold on to your dreams. Because your dreams are the future of this world.
let it show you...let it show you the ways oh
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
to show the way... (show you )
and love will smile on you one day..
Children hold on... to your dreams...
believe in love, let love be the light
to show the shining light... (show you )
and love will smile on you one day..

My friend Michael Rorke met a girl he fell in love with who was still a virgin and would always come to me for advice on how to get some honey 🍯 and I told him to be patient but not give up and promised me to marry her when she did give him some.he eventually got some honey married her raised a family 👪 and this song came out just when she gave in to him and it was a song we listened to throughout the years till they were both taken from me in a tragic accident.3 months before they passed away I visited him and he reminded me of how they would fight when they first met but had grown so close over the years and his prayer to God was that God take both of them together as she didn't know her father or have a family and he couldn't think of him leaving her behind all alone and God answered his prayer.i miss u my friend but one day I will be with u all again.Barry Dunn..South Africa.

Angel I struggled for many years myself doing drugs on the streets of Chicago. I'm ok now but the fight goes on. We will have to deal with this for the rest of our lives because addiction is not curable, we are just in remission. The devil wants our souls back because we served him well when we were on drugs, lying, stealing, and cheating. We got to keep God in our life because this is a spiritual battle for our souls.

A Chicago classic. I remember when this came out back when living in Chicago was the most amazing thing in the world. I lived in Roseland then. It was like paradise. Back when you knew everybody on your neighborhood and everybody had each other’s back. When sitting on the porch was the coolest thing you could do and kids respected their elders. To all child abusers out there, you should be ashamed of yourselves. In South Africa my country, crime against defenceless kids is forever increasing. Even more shocking, most of these kids are killed by people known to them. How sick is that? I was lucky that I had my older siblings, aunts and cousins to count on growing up. They never let me down. Let kids grow up in a conducive environment that let them develop their thinking capacity and let their dreams soar.

I know that when they put leadership in Super Max prisons, Structure left and now you have CHi RAC, sinceless crimes against our own kind. Sure there was always gangbanging since the 70's in Chicago, but the lack of Structure made the next generation worse and the Principalities of this world knew it. Remain Blessed! This was my daughter's 8th grade grad song. When the hook played at the ceremony, tears were filling my eyes. I knew this song from my youth when my dad played the radio and would sing this song (drunk of course :) ). But it is such a powerful song that to this day it still touches me in a special way. Even as an adult I still want to believe in my dreams and will hold on to my dreams...

This is so SOULFUL... This is REAL TALK, for all people... Kind of put me into an nostalgic daze of an era that I didn't get to experience. With all of the things going on in the Midwest, we need to take heed to this song!

I'm in my final year in university and to say life has been hard (financially and otherwise) would be a spectacular understatement, I am struggling; but I'm also pushing on. I find myself here quite a lot, but I think that's because I need the motivation. I promised myself at the beginning of the year that no matter how difficult it may be, I'll hunker down and finish this year strong. I'm well on my way to fulfilling that promise now that I'm left with one more class before the end of my academic calendar. This has been one of the songs that kept me going; one day when life is better, I'll play it once more to remind myself of how far I've come. Until that day comes, we live in the hope that things will get better... and that in the end we will persevere.
