@@awabooks9886 that's awesome. Boquete had a large US retiree population. We made friends with a good amount of US expats. I loved the climate being up in the hills but close enough to go enjoy the beach pretty easily.
Wow, Max, thank you so much! We are currently editing our last video from Panama (the city and Casco Viejo) and are thinking about doing another video like this, but for the entire country.
Thank you for the kind words, Mike!! I hope you're able to get there soon. We loved it. If you're interested in Panama as a whole, here's another top ten video: ua-cam.com/video/xYh6l2Y56Lk/v-deo.html

thanks, that was an awesome little look into a town i'm thinking about visiting/retiring too. Now I must go! The 3 waterfalls looks super cool as do the flowers. Very pretty, laid back place.
Hi kids, enjoyed the video. It was one of many I watched before moving to Panamá. I moved to Boquete almost 6 months ago and have not looked back. Meet my Spanish maestro at Perfect Pair for lessons. I live in Jaramillo Centro and my house, which is an insane bargain compared to the US, has a million dollar view of Volcan Baru. Rainbows on your doorstep, spring every day. Come back and visit!
Thank you so much, William!! We are aching to get back on the road, all in good time. We will keep the videos coming until then, with our house flip and converting our van coming in the next months. Before those, we are making another Top Ten list of Panama as a whole. Cheers!
Thanks! Awww, you met Rodrigo who now lives at Lola's Farm. ♥️ I hope to meet him as well as Kaylee, Jordan and Sadie 🤗 OH! Lola as well. 🐕 You have really got me leaning towards living in Boquete!
Thanks, man! We can't wait to get back on the road to create more adventures. Until then, we are doing videos for our local community, while going on local trips here and there. Where are you based out of?
Thank you so much! We flew from Florida to San Jose, Costa Rica, then road a bus from there. I've seen a lot of UA-camrs drive their vans from the States, all the way down to Argentina. It's definitely doable but you have to stay aware.
I'm from Honduras but grew up in the US. Crime and poverty go together, plus in those 3 world countries the police, which are not in a large#, are underpaid, not trained like ours, and not willing to risk their lives for no one. You are on your own. If you risk it, you are gambling with your life. Be careful, you've been warned.
Panama is not a island and boquete is not and island, panama is a republic of panama is a country not a island , boquete is in the country side of panama republic of panama on for your information panama of a 100 + island.
We just now realized the confusion. Jordan said, "The Highlands of Panama" meaning the mountains, and we think that was confused with "islands". Hope this cleared it up. 😀
I would imagine swimming in Boquete would be a pretty chilly experience. On the other hand, in cold water it's more unlikely to get a brain eating amoeba up your nose.
Don't go to that place 2 girl went missing there in 2014. On,one of does walks and the police did nothing crime and drugs r there. Don't go in that f.ing jungle you may not come back. On the girls that went missing there's a lot on the Internet about. Ps I'm not having a go at the man and women making this utub.
Yes, that was a tragic event, but we never once felt unsafe throughout our three week stay. There is crime and murder everywhere (plenty where we are from).
@@EandJGoAway It's not just Kris Kremers and Lissane Froon who got killed and dismembered in Bouquet but many other tourists before and after Kris and Lissane. Of course bad things happen every day, all over the world, and their story was tragic. Should we let that keep us from exploring the world? I don't think so.

Thanks this gave me more in-depth information than other channels
I'm amazed how many Boquete videos I've seen... that have NONE of the depth of yours. Many, many thanks 😊
Thank you so much! We really enjoyed our three weeks there, so we wanted to share our favorite spots.

I'm seriously considering early retirement in Panama, and Boquete is definitely a town that will get an extended stay like yours 😊
