Watching all the Sad Song Quarantine Hours that are on UA-cam (what else would you do with a Saturday morning in 2024?) and Mary Sue Milliken is the funniest guest yet. "You're in Tennessee?" I would love to hear banjo Michigan in a concert. The keyboard is haunting too, sounds like voices.
TY Kenneth for trying to be vegan, even if partially ;) As someone mentioned you could use coconut cream instead of condensed milk! Yum! (10 year vegan here ;)) Absolutely gorgeous Michigan version. My soul is healed! Merci/Thank you!
You guys are amazingly talented, your music is like a cure for any wounded soul! Thank you for taking the time to make these episodes. Selma, Your loyal fan from Algeria :)
Hi Guys! You've made this Canadian Girl very happy this evening. I'll miss seeing you at some festival or another this summer. But this - this is wonderful. THANK YOU!!!
The rest of the family already sleeping and having just brushed my teeth and getting ready for bed I see this appearing in my feed half way across the world from you, it put a big smile on my face. Then getting served this fantastic rendition simply made me feel very fortunate and thankful. Oh, and great to finally get to hear Joey’s banjo. It also served as a reminder of how loud you guys play, like when I saw you in Stockholm last summer, forcing that poor club to close down permanently. But hey, it was totally worth it! Seriously thought, thanks!
Sounds great guys... that banjo adds a haunting tone to that song.

The Milk Carton Kids objecting to condensed milk? beautiful song though guys!Thank youXX
Wow. I like that song even more now. Banjos are always welcome in my book.
This is the Michigan I never knew I needed
Beautiful, haunting rendition. You could probably play that on a broomstick bass and a washboard and still manage to break my heart.
Ahh, the Milliken Carton Kids
Colin Brain 😂
Beautiful! I bet you could substitute condensed coconut cream for the cookies, worth a try Kenneth 😊

I know! That was great. So much animal cruelty in dairy, especially in the US.
@@jacintacesp Yes, terrible!! TY!!
I always think I'm over hearing Michigan. But every time I hear it in a "live" format I remember why it is a great song.
Wow. Just wow.

Beautifully and appropriately somber rendition of my favorite song of yours. It holds so much meaning for me. Thank you, guys.
Come for the.banjo...stay for the cookies 🍪

Y’all are so amazing!
Love you guys! Stay safe!
Glad I found this , be well please !
Very nice!
"They're partially vegan..." Great answer.
This version of Michigan is SO beautiful... I wish I knew how to extract it from the rest of the video.
Thanks for that.
She' said she's literally cooking her heart out!
Isn't that disgusting??!!! How does not more than one comment on her heart eating!
Coconut sweetened condensed milk could work to make it vegan ❤️😂
wow awesome banjo and... melotron???
Was hoping for dueling banjos...
They don’t care about live performance lag because they are so damn tight
Labeled as episode 5, not 50, guys. :)
Joey still hasn't found his glasses?!
Please dude, pick your guitar back up. You are way too good of a guitarist to be playing the keyboard in this song.
