Outstanding choices. I can highly recommend Green Irish Tweed by Creed . Interestingly, it was classic film star Cary Grants PERSONAL scent , until released onto the market, by Creed after the Mr.Grants decease in 1985 ! It is said to be King Charles favorite today ! Its fresh , deep , multilevel : A warm fall day , with a cool breeze !
Thank you so much for this wonderful compliment that goes straight to my heart and for your support since my first videos. You have brightened my day ❤
A very elegant choice, These 2 fragrances have a lot of common notes. With spring coming, maybe you will also like ACQUA DI PARMA COLONIA which has a citrusy start but also notes of vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood present in HABIT ROUGE and BOIS DU PORTUGAL. If you try it, do not hesitate to tell me what you thought of it? Thank you for your support.
Yes… it was… before reformulations. Like most of the classic gems presented here… unfortunately the new formulations have, at best, very little in common with the originals.
@@eugenevidocq5529 Reformulations are a bit the bane of perfumery in general. But at the same time it allows some creations released in specific years to become sought after and rare masterpieces, vintages.
Floris 89, love it. Aqua di Parma Colonia Assuluta is much better than the original. Habit Rouge is fantastic but for sure it is a take on Floris 89, which came earlier.
I didn't smell assoluta, but I read that it was warmer and more powdery than the original, which I discovered last week. I think I will like the assoluta version very much!
Very nice list. I am wearing Royal Oud now & Tabarome was my first ever Creed I bought 14 years ago. An honorable mention could go out to Houbigant Fougere Royale. It's one of the best upscale Spring/Summer slightly barbershop fragrances I've ever come across
you have a very good taste, I have heard a lot of good things about Fougère Royale, but have not had the opportunity to feel it yet. as soon as I do I will make a video about this timeless first fougère created. Thank you for your feedback.
