@teamgeist3328 The Shield is only silver in the movies, it's white in the comics. Even if it's supposed to be a movie shield, at least it's accurate to some form of source material.
0:52 That was the first Lego "set" I ever got! I still have the bucket. I thought that's what Lego people were back then because I didn't know about minifigures
Thanks Tiago! I love my spiderman art set! Thanks so much for all the great sets you did also, ship in a bottle, Titanic, and especially gingerbread house! 🏠
This honestly looks really cool and fun to build. The design of the actual body up close looks a bit off based on actual anatomy but from a distance (like most art is viewed) it looks fantastic.
I got it yesterday for my birthday (september 1st) which was a real surprise because I didn't expect to receive a Lego set knowing that my partner got the "The Starry Night" and "Hogwarts Castle and Grounds" sets a month ago. Tbh I don't know when I'm going to unpack it (between collectible figurines and books, I don't have a lot of space) but from what I can see, the assembly and final result should please me!
I really hate super heroes, but my son doesn't, and i just found the spiderman games on console which are amazing. Just leaving it here that my favorite set is the t-rex rampage. The end. Like.
Cap's Shield... so cool... so beautiful... so worth the money (for me)... so... bloody... boring. 😵💫 The most boring build I've EVER done. But once it IS done, and you're holding that ridiculously big disc of plastic... lol it's just so cool! ❤❤❤ But holy damn, that build. 🤦
Very similar building experience as the globe in my opinion. It looks really cool when finished, but it’s painful getting there lol. I think the shield was a bit more tedious for sure, but the globe wasn’t far behind it. They both look great but I never wanna build either one again 😂
@@strangerofthe2067 Yeah... the Globe is on my short list (I just can't justify the price... same with the Typewriter). I'm looking forward to having it... but not building it. ^_^;
Is he supposed to be hanging on a green mural or something? Even if the build might be fun,the resulting product is a bit messy. The middle of the forearm splitting up the black webbing threads just looks weird. That left should just is ROUGH🤣
I love this set! I have 3 of the Iron Man mosaic with the large one built and 3 of the Batman set also with the large one built, and this Spider Man set was PERFECT to go on the wall with them in my Lego room. I’m really looking forward to the Arkham City art set coming next year, even though the price is crazy lol.
I am not one to criticize LEGO, but they seem to be making some questionable choices as of late when it comes to their products. They are willing to make an animal crossing crossover (not sure if thats gonna be profitable) but not a new licensed spongebob theme, you got 10.000 customers already for the Krusty krab. Not to mention that the themes of the 2000s really were LEGO'S best time, I for one miss castle with the skeletons and evil wizard, the dwarfs and the trolls. they were such unique sets, and while the new castle set is great it just doesn't capture the same magic for me. They however seem to sometimes be going in the right direction with a revival of the Pirates theme. but aside from the Barracuda bay and the Elderado fortress whe have gotten no news for any other sets so far.
They want to tap into the new audiences,a Don end up forgetting about the current loyal base, who will end up turning away disinterested at the sight of the new themes. That’s the problem that every growth-chasing company faces, but they’re ok with this.
Tiago, I love ya but the pacing of this video is nuts, I got whiplash at the beginning because of how fast you started talking about the building process 😭😭

I like how Lego has recently been making 3d art sets they look cool and especially the new spider man
Agreed! Though cool, never been a big fan of the dotted art pieces. This “new” direction feels more LEGO
Even if the captain America shield looks great, the building experience seems painful
Tedious maybe, but I struggle through many sets I find rewarding at the end!
@@ChilleBruh it’s not so its difficulty, more that it’s so repetitive

I love how it has 2099 pieces
Gotta go back, back to the shocking future.

this set’s building techniques are insane

Although I don’t have the other sets u used for comparisons, I think this set is by far super cool! 🍻
This looks like a really cool finished display set as well as a wild build!
I’d want a custom Lego frame build that could attach in front of the set adding comic book cover elements to make it look like a 3D comic book.
Great review!
Btw... look at the plates from the forehead... I think they are inverted
I like how Spider-Man looks but the background not so much. I think the green pops too much
Yeah I get what they were going for with the comic book dots nut they don't really end up working imo
@@nathonso_edits yeah I agree
Red and green colours clash horribly, Imagine being red green colourblind.
it works perfectly to capture those vivid, psychedelic colors that were all over the place in the 60s run imo
@@BlackMantisRedtbh Red and Green is one of my favourite colour combos actually haha. I love the mix between them in Christmas

Wow looks amazing art great review

Thanks for the review!!
More to come!
Think this will be one that I definitely will pick up soon. Excellent video.
You had the webbing on his face placed incorrectly. On the box they go the same direction in your build you put them facing each other

This was my fav set of the year until the Disney classic camera (43230) came by
Spider-Man 2099 pieces 🕷️ 🟥🟦
Definitely one of my favourites, looks amazing beside the lego batman art frame.
Is it worth getting? Found it new for 125$ im having second thoughts regarding the details kinda confused 😖

The comic book related "arts" make your home look like a kindergarden, though. So, The great wave still wins.
You didn't mention the new tile piece that comes in this set or in the Gringotts review

I don't think you realize how big Animal Crossing is
looks great 👍
Perseverance. Ingenuity.
I love this set but im not a fan of how it looks from the side and its kind of too expensive for me 😢
If you're still interested there's a huge sale on it on Amazon
Not a big fan of this set to be honest.
amazing!

it looks great
but i would have liked a figure
Nice.. would have liked tobey Maguire
Mom can I get spiderman. No we have spiderman at home. Spiderman at home:
yo im here
Not for me. It's a hard pass.
I think the pose is kind of sus
Am I the only person who thinks this is possibly the ugliest Lego set I’ve ever seen?
Hmm Modern Art?
sadly, yes
I don't know how much copium Lego/Marvel fans must be smoking to like this set. Looks absolutely awful.
i think the result looks very ugly.
It looks garbage. Just because you can build it out of Lego, doesn't mean you should
In the next video can it be about “Why doesn’t LEGO make religion?”
