Congrats on five years! Today is my 17 year wedding anniversary and 21 year anniversary of being an "official" couple. I have learned over the years that I don't have to win ever argument and that God is the source of my true happiness. My husband is my best friend but he isn't my savior. And, continuing to date, dress up, smell nice and flirting helps too! I wish the many more years for you two! And Grace is a beauty.

Men and women are wired to handle situations differently. e.g. men resorting to silence and taking a while to process while women think as they do and speak, men need that processing space and can go silent thinking about nothing. There's a good relationship book on this! Understanding this dynamic improves communication between two people. Congrats guys!!!

Nice marriage talk. Prayers and lots of communication are very important. Teamwork is essential and learning how and when to compromise, and share. I say share because one can be selfish in many ways,so learning to share counts. There are other things,but these you learn as you go on.

Great vid. While I understand the importance of communication, I also kind of relate to Mike in needing space and time to myself when I'm feeling out of sorts. It allows me to slowly and practically process my thoughts, instead of pushing them all out in the open when they're at their rawest points. It also gives me the chance to realign myself mentally and emotionally, since constant contact and relational friction can be draining. But I am an introvert so this is just apart of my nature lol Luckily my partner, who is much like Pat in his way of dealing with things, has comes to understand this and gives me the space I need at the proper times.
Thankyou for the little marriage talk, my marriage is currently going through a tough spot and I need to try and mend
