- I went zip lining for the first time at Catalina Island, CA. I took the Zip Line Eco Tour which was 2 hours long, and included 5 different zip line courses spanning across the island. The ocean views and landscape were incredible!

I would love to do that course. The last one I did was high up in the trees at Go Ape (Dalby Forest in the UK) we had to do the course in our own group and we had to attach / unattach ourselves to all the safety and zip lines. We didn't have anyone to do it for us and there was only 1 line not 2 like one these and the harnesses we're only around our waist and legs not full body like those you wore. I was always frightened that I would tip backwards lol 😆

Avalon is fun! Hopefully you ate at the Original Antonio's Pizzeria! Also did you head our of Newport Beach on the Flyer or Long Beach on the Catalina Express? See unfortunately you never got to experience the "big red boat" = about $12 RT in the 80's and only takes 2-2.5 HOURS from Long Beach! Lmao 😂😂😂
