TerraTech Gameplay Overview:
TerraTech is a sandbox construction and combat game where you design, build and command your very own fleet of tera tech vehicles, as you explore alien worlds and gather precious resources on a quest for glory and profit!
In the distant future, Earth's natural resources have been depleted, and as a resource-gathering prospector it's your job to travel to alien planets and scour them for valuable materials. But you are not alone! Rival prospectors litter the landscapes of these new worlds, and will fight to protect what’s theirs, and invade to take what’s yours.

Terra Tech Gameplay Features:
► Construction
Using the building blocks, guns, wheels, and wings from several Mining Corporations, you can build varied Terra Tech to suit every purpose. Be it powerful armored combat vehicles, unstoppable resource gathering machines, sprawling resource processing bases or a hybrid of all three.
► Exploration
The worlds in TerraTech are procedurally generated and infinite, so there are always new lands to discover and more resources to find. Treacherous mountain ranges, luscious grasslands and huge deserts are among the biomes you will encounter.
► Combat
The intergalactic mining industry is a profitable one, but you are not the only miner in search for new worlds to exploit. Defending yourself from rival techs will take time, resources and skill, with success leading to new territory and new lands.
► Corporations
All exo-planetary terratech buy parts from the established Mining Corporations, which each have their own specific brand of mining technology.
► Missions
Completing missions and discovering blocks for each Corp will improve your standing with them, and gain access to the more sought-after components in their arsenal.
► Crafting
By gathering and processing natural resources, players are able to construct storage, refining and construction bases in order to craft new blocks in the game.

As far as the Ai modes go harvest will go to the nearest resource and destroy it then return to the neared base when storage is full.the escort mode makes the Ai follow either the vehicle controlled by the player or follow a Ai set to harvest(whichever is closer) and shoot any hostiles that get near it.the guard mode will seek out the nearest allied base and stay there shooting any hostiles that get near.
use the hover pads to make you techs lighter so that your weels aren't overloded all the time

This is not only for Blitz. I am talking to everyone interested in Terratech. You can place Batteries underground. to achieve this, you have to place at least one anchor. Now you need a vehicle with a cab on it near the anchored block. Switching into build mode allows you to see your vehicle from every angle, even if it exceeds the actual visible area. Move your camera underground and attach whatever beneath the anchored block. This is also nice for hidden charging stations in the ground.
I hope this is nothing everyone knew already. I just haven't seen this technique in Blitz' videos.
Hey Blitz! I have no idea how to communicate to the developers of terra tech but I think we all can agree there needs to be a button to clear "entities" or whatever you would call the blocks scattered around the world! They cause so much lag and right now I can't even play the game because I lag so badly! Please help get the message to the developers in any way you can!!!

Hey Blitz! You're getting small enemies because your GeoCorp level is low........I guess you should've fought more GeoCorp enemy techs maybe.....Cool vids BTW
Also, when you get the parts, build a Venture plane with the Venture cab.....It just sounded good to me.....hopefully it looks cool :D
actually that would only be an available option for the R&D test chamber, if you can get something to work for the campaign world that is similar to that, it would be cool, there is some issues about making that a thing though because if you hit clear entities you might clear techs or enemy techs as well, but hope they can at least make that for R&D.
a timeout/cooldown for loose blocks would be more user friendly.
Very, very cool! Not only protect the base, but farms up components as well! Look so cool too.
put a spoiler on your "destroyer" backwards so theirs more lift and therefore less weight on your tires
-You should add a shield bubble on the top to protect your solar panels.
-Put hover pads on the bottom of your techs so they are lighter and have an easier time passing over mountains.
-I don't think your mining techs don't have the best drills.
-You still didn't try the flamethrower.
-You don't need so many refinery on "Sells a lot" (That's the name right?). I think only 10 (5 on each side of the conveyor) are necessary as the resources will never reach the 6th (or 7th) line of refinery. You might want to remove some to gain more money AND reduce the amount of blocs placed in the world, something that might help a little with lag.
-If you don't use all your techs, you might want to deconstruct some of them.
-I think if you buy things, you gain XP in the Corp in question (Not sure about this one)

When the second turret landed, there was a big epic music in my house. That was perfect !
Love the turret especially how the black hole thing cleans it up after its done
hey blitz, from my experiences playing this game, the bigger the tech the better the odds of bigger techs spawning around. Now that's both a pro and a con seeing how most big techs are made of geo batteries and megaton cannons. also most AIs are "very bright..." if you hold still they will just try to get behind you even if you have more guns in the back then on the front. Whenever i make a tech, I put a few megatons and some of the venture machine guns, the long barrel ones, then at the back of my tech i have gso stud lasers (sure they don't do too much damage and they have poor accuracy but hey if the enemy tech wants to sit behind me while stud lasers are pelting it, that's fine by me). Then if i find any small techs i just let them flank me and i sit still killing them with studs while they shoot at my shield in vein and die seconds later.
Blitz at 14.37 there is an option for the A.I to 'escort' you u could (if u want) build another vehicle the follow u and protect u while you getting are resources or doing something else. Hope u find this comment useful.
Use amor plates to protect the turrets.
Very nice work on the turrets, I think they will make your time quite a bit easier from keeping you safe and not harassed every three seconds. :) Can't wait to see what you have planned next.
Blitz. Turn the turrets to make them look sides because it takes time to turn turrets if they already look at the right or left, it dont need to turn that long
Far be it from me to tell you how to blow things up, but since the turret turns to face enemies, only one side appears to be doing damage at a time.
If nothing else, you might consider replacing the central solar panel with a shield bubble to protect the other solar panels, just in case. Cheers!
If you go for cost efficiency go for Megaton Cannons and 3-Pound Cannons and GSO-Batteries. Batteries are *ridiculously* cheap too. 173 per battery.
I also noticed that 3-Pound Cannons and Megaton Cannons provide a lot of fire power for their space usage.
I would use ~50 batteries, 5 to 10 Megaton Cannons, lots 'a 3-Pound Cannons, some chargers and at least 9 solar panels.
GSO parts are best if you go for cost efficiency.
Blitz put the black hole storage thing within the protection of your sheilds so it will stop shooting parts everywhere every time it gets hit
best thing about blitz turret......its not like some pets and it cleans after itself....best pet ever,the blitz turret

you do NOT want the large healy bubble on your turrets. remember it HEALS YOUR ENEMY as well. so if they come in close to attack they will be healed as you hit them.
The big question is: Can you charge the enemies batteries? That deserves some testing

I know this is an old vid, but when they do updates sometimes you have to refind all your parts, just detatch your part and put it back in your inventory, then pull it back out

Put some hovering pads on the bottom of the tank to relive the load on the wheels
you can use hover pads to make it easier on your wheels (they dont spark so much.) thats what that tank was. It wasnt a hovercraft.
you should use the geo armor blocks on the tower to cover the batteries makes it less blowuppy

You should put hover pads under your tech to make it less heavy and faster.
Blitz, it says your pound cannon tech is too heavy for the wheels, maybe you should put some of the hover pads on it
I dont know if your own weapons can damage your own parts, but if they do, you just created the ultimate way to destroy your base with that 4-sided attack tower...
Yeah, they can. I'll shield and heal bubble the main tower. Going to work on that soon.

Don't charge at them. Most of your guns fire from the side. Make a strafing run beside them and let your canons destroy them.

hey blitz did you know that the megaton cannon is better range than the front lasers
you should make a wall out of the blitz turrets around base and leave one spot for you to get out of but is in the attack range or other turrets so no morr intruders to break your tech
I think the big bubble heals slower than the smaller ones.

They removed the AI modules from the payload terminals, but they didn't remove the ability to craft them (yet?).
Crafting them is similar to the guard AI. You use 2 Erudite instead of 2 Ignite. Then you can buy them the same way as you buy the SCUs: Stick it on a cab, make a snapshot, buy it from a snapshot.
Why did they "remove" it in the first place? *shrug*

Blitz your turret is shooting in all directions and damaging your other creations, watch the video closely, either make the turret have weapons on only one side or keep active repair bubbles on all vehicles and structures!

Blitz, the ai seeker cab you have tried to find and get is either outdated or glitches,so I would email the Devs about it
Try. Making power pylons using the wireless chargers, they should work both ways and prevent shield failure

My Turrets are really Cheap. Rotorblock, A Battery, an AI, 4 Guns, (i use the Venturecorp-guns) and a Shield. Near of my Base or with a Energywire (Baseblock, Battery Energyreciver) and if on Destroyed, it dont Cost the world XD
You can make the other AI module by comibing 2 erudian crystals, those green crystals in the forest

Yep, it's DLC. Or, as they consider it, a pass for beta content.
The R&D pack is $10. It gives you access to that creative mode area, and also gives you the ability to find EXP parts.
Creative mode will be in the main game eventually, without R&D, but this is all we have for now outside of hacking the saves.
