I like that he was still shown on the album, (unintentional or not) he still contributed.
You are not forgotten, Pete.
Thank you Joe Elliot for your Acknowledgment and recognition of the importance of Pete Willis and his incredible guitar work on Pyromania and the art work discussion.
Damn. I remember getting this on vinyl in ‘83 when it came out. I believe I got it for my 10th birthday, and it changed the landscape of music for me. I played it to death. I remember that my parents bought a really great pair of headphones as well. 41 years later, and it still is one of the best metal albums of all time.
I'm glad they didn't edit Pyromania's cover. That cover is so iconic. I remember drawing it on my folder in school.
If it was around then, the cartoon dog sitting at the table, holding a cup of coffee while a fiery inferno rages around him, saying, “ Everything is Fine,” would be a perfect Pyromaniac album cover. 😃
Lol, Pete’s in the background of Joe’s picture.
Dream Theatre had to change their cover due to it had a burning heart with NYC on it. Released at the same time as 9/11.
Peteomania?

I didn't expect to be so underwhelmed by this information. Do I....do I thank you or...?
