Hello friends. Today I will show you how to connect an ATS electrical cabinet to transfer electricity from the grid to the generator and vice versa.
First we will apply 220V power to the main Circuit Breaker. Then we will connect to pins 1 and N of the ATS (N). And from pins 1 and N (R) we will supply the Circuit Breaker of the generator. At the bottom of the ATS, pin N (N) will be connected to pin N (R) and pin 2 (N) will be connected to pin 2 (R) and fed to the head of the main Circuit Breaker of the distribution cabinet. The lower 2 legs of the distribution cabinet will feed into the RCCB. The lower leg of the RCCB will power the MCBs of the entire house.
Operating principle of ATS circuit.
Before starting use, make sure ATS is turned off.
Then push the manual automatic switch (Red switch) to automatic mode.
Turn on the power on the left side (2-pole MCB). The ATS will then automatically switch to the normal power source side and power will be supplied to the load from the normal power source side.
When there is a power outage, turn on the generator power source (On the right side there is a 2-pole MCB). Then the ATS handle automatically switches to the emergency power source side and power will be supplied to the load from the emergency power source side.
