adembenemend mooi! Afgelopen vrijdagavond (12 februari 2016) hoorde ik deze fantastische bariton in het concertgebouw de complete cyclus zingen met het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest te Amsterdam. Een unieke ervaring. Deze opname brengt me deze ervaring in herinnering. Dank!

I am grateful for this splendid account of some of the Wunderhorn Lieder performed by Herr Goerne, an exception interpreter of Mahler's music. He has not only the voice for Mahler, but the soul.
