I dated my now husband for a year when we seriously discussed marriage and decided to get married in a year. I didn't even think of it as being any kind of issue. I rather be single and alone, than be with a 50/50 man. I am happier, without that. I have my own, and unless the man can offer me more, than I offer myself, I'll stay single. I have hobbies, I have interests. I can start a business or sell tangible things. I rather that, than a struggle love, with multiple kids, with a man, who can barely pay for himself, yet alone a family.

By age 30 most med students aren’t anywhere near done residency, much less the residency programs for specialties that make her required pay grade. And even by then, they have hundreds of thousand dollar student loans to pay back, and require years in the professional game to get to those 6 figures bc residency pays peanuts and overworks you. She’s ignorant and ungrateful for what it takes to get there yet claiming it selfishly and fearlessly already like she earned it.
