*UPDATE 1* I just noticed that the drone DJI returned to me has a completely different serial number. Did they actually send me a completely new drone?!?! *UPDATE 2* DJI Customer Service called me 2 days after I received the new drone just to see if I've had a chance to use the new drone and to check if everything is working properly. That's some good attentive customer service! *UPDATE 3* I flew the new drone for the first time but it has a "Backward Vision Sensor Error". Basically, the drone thinks that something is constantly behind it so it won't fly backward. Looks like this one is going back to DJI for another repair. *UPDATE 4* 7/19/24 - 2nd Drone Arrived Back to DJI 7/22/24 - DJI marked my case as "Received by DJI Service Center" 7/23/24 - DJI inspected and sent me a quote for the service. They want me to either pay $2 for a repair or $65 for a DJI Care Refresh replacement. This makes no sense since DJI sent me a faulty drone. I've contacted customer support and they will have to escalate this situation to another department. 7/23/24 - DJI sent me an email saying they'll fix the drone for free. I'd rather just have a replacement considering the drone was already defective when new, but it is what it is. 7/24/24 - DJI shipped the repaired drone 7/29/24 - I received another drone with a new serial number so this is the third completely different drone that I've owned. DJI confirmed that this third one is a new drone.
When you receive a new Care Refresh replacement, does it come with 0 KM on the counter? That might be another key difference. If you choose to pay for repairs instead, you retain your original drone along with its existing flight hours and usage history.
Similar situation here; Air 2S front arm connections broke (both sides, not due to a crash but manufacturing defect). DJI replaced it under warranty without question. 8-day turnaround for the replacement drone, which was awesome. They also threw in a new set of props. :) Good luck with your replacement-replacement!
@@HaiTran Going to have to send mine back too; I just got a gimbal-stuck error (40002). Calibration, cycling the power and "checking for dust" to satisfy tech support (it's not dirty; I haven't flown it yet), removing the microSD card... None of that worked. :(
Hello. Thanks for the video. My drone also crashed and a leg and gimbal are broken. Question. In the website they say to send the complete set. Did you send the remote control as well? How about sending the battery?

Yeah , or just renewed
most likely as they have a refurbished section for broken/ returned drones that were repaired
Most likely or refurbished
In any case, it's better than what I sent in 🤣

The second one is being delivered back to them tomorrow so fingers crossed I get another replacement soon!

That sucks. Hopefully it gets fixed quickly!

I just sent in the drone but it depends on the situation and problems. They provide instructions on what to include.
Top service by DJI. Wow.
Yeah it was good until I found out that the drone they sent me didn’t work properly.
@@HaiTran You already waiting for a new fix?
They sent me a new return shipping label but I’ll have to figure out when it would be the best time to ship it back considering my schedule.
How much for a gimbal replacement?
You should contact DJI and ask that question.
Good to know!!
Good luck 👍🏽
Did you request/get the 2nd replacement drone?
I did! If you check the pinned comment under this video, you’ll see a timeline of my experience with the second replacement.
@@HaiTran OK on that; I guess I didn't look deep enough. Tnx
No problem!
How old was the original mini 4 pro
My original Mini 4 Pro serial number is still linked to my account. I saw it last night and believe it says it’s been activated for around 56 days.
DJI CARE is not for every country ..... They told me that Puerto Rico a USA territory was not a covered zone.
It is what it is 👍🏽
Great video and very informative video❤❤❤NEW SUBSCRIBER 💫💫🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the support!
