You are just great, I go to University and tomorrow is my genetics exam. Since my brain is oversaturated and coffee doesn't help anymore, I just started watching your videos in order to relax. and I even think, they might help a little tomorrow.
Summer coming in just a few weeks, less than a month, and we're not even studying anything like this in biology, yet here we are. These videos are awesome
Side note, at 3:38, when the question is asked which population size could be more affected by genetic drift, this is a wonderful analogy to how grades fluctuate more wildly early in the semester with few assignments (i.e., "small population"), but later in the semester, when there are far more assignments entered, the grade is much more stable, less likely to be impacted by any one assignment (i.e., "large population"). It helps reduce the number of students rushing to me at the end of the semester asking for some epic grade improvement. :-)
We need more channels like these! Many times us college students get oversaturated with all the material, so having these to rewind and reinforce is really helpful.
@@jm008-c7e in some ways it will be much easier than you think. but in many other ways it will be absolutely awful and nothing but patience and focus can prepare you
I am pushing 60 and find myself teaching high school biology at summer school. last time I took a bio class in the mid 70s...these videos are great! thank you.....
Hey amoeba sis, do u even know?, That Ur videos helps me in getting concepts- simplified and easily memorable , for my medical college entrance exam (NEET) in India, yeah I agree that there is a lot more than the information in ur videos But the core concepts becomes crystal clear like in this video, thanks a lot, and we remind u to stay awesome😜
Finished Biology finally and thankfully I passed and passed my final ! (Surprisingly) I thank you Amoeba Sisters for helping me through that journey. With out you all I may not have passed and may be in summer school lol. Thankfully I am not, but without these videos I do not know where I would be. A huge thanks ❤️
you are the coolest teacher in youtube... you make studing full of fun and this makes easier to remember later..i love youuuu.. btw the last notice me senpai is the best part of the vid
Amoeba sisters cool video! I'm a seventh grader and when my science teacher showed one of your videos to our class today, i fell in love with this channel immediately! I am now a fan and I subscribed! :)
Hey :) thanks a lot for providing us with these great videos ! I'm a college student from Belgium, and I still find them very helpful, plus they're a pleasure to watch ! Keep up the good work, you're making a difference for all us who sometimes struggle with biology :)
1:04 "This just coming in, a group of young children start up the violent Scooter Squad, murdering thousands of insects under the wheels. With more on that our field reporter, Bryson Potts. "Ok, coming up next, the new music ideo for Go Stupid is out now."
This is so helpful, I'm using these videos to review for the AP Bio exam coming up. Even though the content is not as thorough as the stuff I need to know for AP Bio, it's such a good review to help jog my memory again from the jam-packed AP content. 10/10 recommended for AP Bio kids (and everyone).
My bio test is tomorrow and I am non-stop watching your video, I did a list that I have to know and you have all the videos, you’re such a life saver!!
i got shown your youtube channel st school and been watching videos since to revise for my ppe exams (mocks) and these videos have helped me understand and get me more interested in science thanks u
Really helpful and interesting, and the videos are so cute! English is not my first language so learning these materials in university in the USA is not easy, but you helped me a lot! Now after graduating, I still keep watching your helpful videos to learn and review. My next step is grad school!
Thank you guys soo much! This is soo simple! I don't know why I was struggling with this. I'm going to draw the amoeba sisters and frame it in my bedroom.
My friend and I always seek your help whenever we have a biology test. You have no idea how much we are forever in your debt.❤️ Especially with finals almost upon us, we need you more than ever 😂 Thankies again ❤️

Great video. I used to teach an evolutionary biology lab course, and had this video existed back then, I would have probably recommended it for some of my students who struggled with drift.
I was having a hard time understanding our lesson, luckily, I found your videos about the natural selection, it helps me to understand more the Darwinian Theory. Thank you, keep doing your videos :)
