TURNING $100 AIR FORCE ONES INTO $2000 (TUTORIAL)

- In this video I decided to completely cover a pair of Nike Air Force 1s with authentic Swarovski crystals, 6000 to be EXACT!!!

HOW TO MAKE THESE CUSTOMS
1. Prep the Shoes
Use cotton balls and acetone to remove the factory finish. After throughly removing the factory finish off every crevice of the shoe you are ready to tape up the shoes. Frog Tape is the best tape for this. Use an Exacto knife and tape to tape off the soles of the shoes. Be careful to not cut the leather.
2. Paint
Use Angelus paint mixed with 2-Thin to be able to spray through the airbrush.
If you do not have an airbrush, it’s okay! Just hand paint the leather with thin coats till you get the desired covered. Use a heat gun in between to set the coats of paint. Next, you will spray a Matte Finisher with light coats over the shoes, try not to get on the soles, just on the leather.
3. Using a tweezers and E6000 industrial a glue you will apply a small line of glue and then apply a small batch of crystals. TAKE YOUR TIME!! This will take a while. Place the crystals accordingly!
4.THE MISSION IS COMPLETE!! NOW TAKE SOME FIRE PICS FOR THE GRAM! AND FOLLOW ME WHILE YOUR AT IT!

1440 isn't even enough to finish 1 shoe. I'm making this as we speak. But I'm waiting on more stones to come in the mail. I asked dude how many stones he used and he just said he don't know. So for anybody wondering how many stones it will take to do a size 11.5, it's about 4000
@@JohnNelson-ii3vr good looks bro that deff puts things into perspective fr honestly lol im a sz 10 and i have plans on doing the same thing with a pair of all white bapes (skatesta's actually) that i have (well, that i plan on ordering actually lol) but as much as i love the af1 i just dnt feel special in them because every body has a pair and id just rather do somthing different of course and honestly i just think ill get more of a double take especially since i plan on ordering bigger stones kinda like the fle market dunks, i just like the size of the stones on those way better than wht he used here so i know the clarity will just hit a lil better when i walk in them
Bapes would be dope asf! The only problem I see with bigger stones is that it will be much harder to avoid big gaps in the stones. But I hope I get to see what you do with those Bapes
@@JohnNelson-ii3vr most definitely… I plan on getting my UA-cam started sooner than later and it’s definitely one of the things on my list to do for sure… And do time I might just mix the big stones with the small stones to compensate for the spaces/gaps etc. … A real Custom that I know for sure it will probably take more time than this guy took, and he took quite a while to complete these as well
