idk if you'll believe me but these past few days i've been rewatching your dk vids again cuz even if i feel like i won't be emotional about my otp again, there's always a time when i do get emotional and my obsession with their love comes rushing back even stronger than before

THE SCENES AND THE EDITING IS SO INTENSE IT MAKES ME WANT TO JUMP OFF A CLIFF OR SMTH I SWEAR. the lyrics of the song hits me right in the heart, i mean 'i run back to you" like this just SCREAMS datherine - my precious katherine always running both metaphorically and literally, and yet she always runs into damon, the only man she ever let him catch her(remember that stefan and elijah also played that game with kath but damon was the only one who caught her when they were running in the woods). she runs into damon even when she's not running but looking in the mirror, because he's her own reflection. and damon on the other hand, he tries to run from his love, and yet every woman he meets reminds him of her, until he even falls for a woman with the same face, ironically.
I WILL NEVER RECOVER FROM THIS VID I SWEAR, IT'S TOO PERFECT. IT MAKES ME SO EMOTIONAL I CAN'T EVEN WRITE PROPERLY.
