The movies are absolute garbage when being compared to the books, HOWEVER, looking at them separately, the movies were pretty good (minus some parts of course)
I mean they are a bad adaptation, it has nothing to do with the books, but I think that as movies alone they are good, in fact I enjoy them when I separate them from the book

U can tell that in the second movie the detector made them have more feelings for each other cuz Annabeth acted more of a weak girl in the second movie in the first movie she was all tough and she always had a way to get close to Percy in the second movie just my opinion
