🎸 *UPDATE* ONLY 2 Guitars Left Here: bit.ly/3AiZVCz I can't believe it! Thank you for your support on this amazing collaboration. For those wondering, this link and video were made available to my Patreon supporters and Newsletter subscribers first for 48 hours.
@user-zn6gz4ub7w they use the CNC to mill out the rough cuts, then finish them by hand. That’s still hand-made. That’d be like using a stamping machine to stamp out metal parts. Only the stuff that needs to be 100% precise is done by machine, and even then, it’s not finished by a machine.
Hi Mary 😉 A really super sexy Guitar 😍.... i enjoyed the really nice Clip...... fantastic, wonderful work of the Girls and Guys from Marceau Guitars 👍👍👍...... and i love the super sexy P90´s too 🥰 Many and BIG THANX for all..... for You and your Music, and Marceau Guitars too 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Love and kind Regards from "The Pott/Essen/Germany" to wherever you are 🥰
I just can't believe the price for this great guitar, build from scratch. Not the usual 5000^^ How is this even possible, in Europe, in this day and age.
Thanks, this is the holding of good and nice 'ego' that I want from a Luthier. A warm heart for the guitar. I don't know you but will say , "keep on building."
Dear Mary, as an engineer, I really appreciate you posting this video. Often the product manufacturing is taken for granted. Thanks for giving these guys a window to the public through your channel. ( I guess you got a beautiful guitar in return) 👍😊 PS What a superbly equipped workshop these guys have..
I could rewatch this video forever, outstanding company, unbelievable instrument. The guitar body design is truly one of a kind. You're one lucky guitarist Mary, good for you.
Beautiful guitar Mary, watching the care and love that goes into making these amazing instruments is enchanting....bravo to Marceau Guitars for creating such a gorgeous sounding masterpiece.
You are one lucky lady Mary to have such a wonderful piece of art to perform with. What magnificent workmanship from these dedicated French craftsmen. An absolute treasure indeed. Travel well Mary with your new trusty steed and continue making beautiful music. Lucky yes, deserved even more so.
I have been following your story now for a few years and your passion for all things guitar never seems to wane. You are truly an inspiration to anyone who yearns to follow a similar path.Your two instruments, guitar and voice, are used with precision and soul....and then there is the songwriting, exquisite.Beautiful guitar...treasure it.All the best with the album.Never forget your roots, and warmest regards,David.
Well alright! Mary, your guitar is a stunner! The blend of elements - woods electronics and hardware are truly thoughtful and beautiful. Nice clear warm tone - great choice of pickups as well. And well made combining much handcrafting, mill-work and The Plek treatment is really nice. Your video capturing the build is perfect. Thank you for sharing.
Although I have made a few solid body guitars, I never had all the equipment these guys have, in my turn I made mine mostly by hand except for a few small power tools! So, I can appreciate the time they put into making this guitar for you! Congrats on a great looking guitar for your collection!
What a lovely lovely name for the guitar model - Heartbreaker". As an owner of 7 handmade guitar by single luthier Michael Sandén here in Sweden (NOT flexing, just.. understand what goes into making a guitar) I salute this effort and... you're so worth it Mary!
DANG!!!! That is truly a custom build. Was wondering how it was going to compare to your signature Strat sound so thanks for playing it at the end. That offset body shape is gorgeous. Love how the pick guard isn’t glossy but flat. Adds to the unique look of it. Super happy for you and your future and this beauty being with you!
Classy guitar, fits you perfectly. I’ve followed you for a few years now and I love how your focus is on music, guitar, craft and the music business and you’re using your talents and class to deliver these things instead of your super sexy cool, which you are, but don’t need to flaunt. Congrats on the great new guitar. I’m getting a new US PRS Paul’s in a few days, my third US PRS (I have a Dodgem Blue Silver Sky as well, which I believe you also have.)
I just love hand craftsmanship in all forms and this is extraordinary. The Zen of watching doesn't compare to doing but is still fulfilling. Congrats on this art being in your life.
Talk about attention to detail and TLC that goes into this piece of instrument. Much respect. And those who are fortunate to "finger" the guitar would be in heaven.
So impressive watching the luthiers perform their craft with such utmost attention to detail...all to create a most beautiful instrument...the earthiest of them all..the guitar. This craftsmanship makes me think of Monet...and the masterpieces he created. Outstanding video...happy for you..to be the receiver of this specially-crafted beauty.
Body cut on a table saw, run through a jointer. Beautiful - really excellent work. Congrats on your new instrument and Congrats to Marceau Guitars for a masterful combination of precision machine work and hand crafted art.
As a woodworker, it was so much fun watching your video with the craftsones applying the deft touches to the smallest detail. Way beyond my skills but so much fun to watch. Your video editer's work and your voice-over made for a perfect video. The sound from that gorgeous instrument was pretty nice, indeed! You do good work, lady!
That was very cool to see. Especially from a lifelong woodworker who’s done extensive custom woodworking all his life. Glad you love that new ax…It’s a beauty.
I don't play but I do admire those do. I do appreciate craftsmanship and that guitar is a work of art and it sounds simply amazing in your hands. Awesome
Yeah, beautiful guitar Mary. I've just bought a boutique guitar from the US made by a company called Michael Kelly. It's their Hybrid special. Semi hollow all wood body with wooden humbucker covers and wooden knobs. It has two humbuckers (with split coils) and a Fishman piezo under the saddle. All three p/u can be played in any combination or individually and, using a stereo cable, the piezo and humbucker outputs can be sent to different amps simultaneously. It sounds amazing! This guitar together with my hand made Australian Maton acoustics means I sound better than I am and am in guitar heaven. Thanks for the video.
When I was a kid, I had a small model of a Formula 1 race car. It was black with gold trim, and I thought it was just the coolest thing ever. My love of that aesthetic continues to this day. That is one super-duper sexy guitar.
Love the new guitar excitement. And the smell of a new guitar. Like how the fretboard was Plek'd before the frets were installed. For proper fall off and flatness. Also liked the threaded inserts in the neck for a stronger neck to body joint. Personally am not a big fan of roasted necks. But otherwise a very very good build.
That's the most beautiful guitar I've seen in a long time. Seeing a fraction of the building process was quite interesting. Hope it does you well and lasts for many years
I love it and we love you, Mary! You are such a brilliant and talented soul! Thank you for the footage! I'm a new(ish) builder/luthier and love to take in new information!
Impressive build and workmanship, kudos to the company that makes these instruments. Personally I wouldn’t tint a roasted neck as over time it will achieve a warm color naturally but that’s just me being overly critical. Thanks for sharing the process, I learn so much just watching videos like this. 👍
Although lots of the progressive building of the guitar is digitalized, there’s a lot of talented handwork which is done afterwards. Incredible painstakingly built worthwhile to hear the incredible sound which comes out of it, the beauty of finishes. You were made for each other ❤️🎶
What a stunning looking and sounding guitar. That neck is a thing of beauty. A talented artist like Mary deserves to have an equally wonderful guitar bearing her name and Marceau Guitars has achieved that.
Damn!!! That thing sounds unbelievably good. I'm 56yrs old & have played many manufactures of Single coil & humbucker pickups (and don't get me wrong, I love them both) but those P90's have such a fat, crystal clear bell tone I"m just blown away. Of course the craftsmanship of the instrument can't be overstated either. I let my ears be the judge & what I heard was pure bliss. That's a lifetime achievement instrument if I ever saw one. Bien fait, Marceau Guitars! Bien fait!!!!
I think those are Jazzmaster pickups, not P90’s, judging by the size, how the pole pieces are not screw-adjustable, and the four extra tabs for mounting the pickups rather than the two extra holes in the middle of the pickup. That’s why they have a clearer, smoother sound than most p90s!
It’s fantastic to watch a skilled person create a beautiful instrument from scratch and boy did your new guitar sound amazing. Mary, have you come across a Luthier called Daisy Tempest?? Daisy is UK based and has her own UA-cam channel.
That’s a great looking guitar Mary. I’m sure it plays amazingly!!! Congratulations on having a signature guitar. What an honor. If I could get it in another colour instead of black I’d buy one!! Beautiful!!!
It's all beautiful - You, your playing, and that amazing guitar! There's nothing better than "New Guitar Day," but when you get something like that - it's a whole different experience. Congrats :)
Wow! Watching those luthiers working was awesome. Just amazing craftsmanship throughout the whole process of building that guitar. The end result is beyond reproach. You must be so proud that they wanted to make such a special instrument to your specs. The guitar sounds wonderful.👍👍🇨🇦
Beautiful guitar! I love the access to the upper frets and the fretboard coloration and hue are very cool. I personally prefer neck through construction over bolt-on-necks, but this guitar is awesome.
I can hear that Mark knopfler influence . It is a beautiful guitar and your choice of pickups is as I would have chosen . P90's are unmatched as far as I am concerned for a rich and full sound especially in the neck pickup where others can sound muddy, weak or even muted especially when playing the E,A,D strings , P90's still maintain their mid range and treble response . Congratulations on owning a true work of art, visually and auditorily. You play beautifully and are easy on the eyes as well .
That is a stunning guitar! Congrats Mary and it looks and sounds perfect in your hands. Like you, I absolutely love gold hardware and there is something special to me about black and gold together….perfect❤
I build furniture for a living. I love watching people like these luthiers, that obviously take pride and care in what they build. May you have many years of enjoyment playing that work of art!
So nice to hear your music in the backgroud. It sound really great. And the mix is perfect. Your voice is nice and strong over the music. So I would love to have the instrumental version on a CD or on Spotify
Thanks for sharing this! I saw similar hi tech machinery at the Taylor factory, but still there is a lot of skilled, precise human hand work that the machines can’t do ( at least yet).

£2,540 for a completely hand-made boutique guitar?! I was expecting double that price. No wonder they're selling so quickly!
You are truly Beautiful , Thank you , for Including People real people in Your education , I have seen no one do this ever !
That’s a beautiful guitar. I’m jealous in a good way. 😊

Very nice work!!
Nice work. The Heartbreaker looks amazing.
Génial. Vraiment. Bravo !!!
I just can't believe the price for this great guitar, build from scratch. Not the usual 5000^^ How is this even possible, in Europe, in this day and age.
It's gorgeous!
I am a Luthier, and I enjoy watching other Luthiers work. I'm always trying to learn new things. Congrats on the new axe. It looks wonderful.

That smile while playing it at the end tells the whole story!!!
I could rewatch this video forever, outstanding company, unbelievable instrument. The guitar body design is truly one of a kind. You're one lucky guitarist Mary, good for you.
I am so glad Rick Beato turned me onto you!
That is a beauty. Thanks for narrating the entire process that was very cool.
Beautiful guitar Mary, watching the care and love that goes into making these amazing instruments is enchanting....bravo to Marceau Guitars for creating such a gorgeous sounding masterpiece.
I would never have thought a black guitar could look that fantastic. The gold hardware looks so sharp. Color me jealous.

So so amazing! You deserve it and best of luck with your tour all the way from Australia xx
Thanks!

Loved this...and your outro was beautiful Miss Spender.

I like especially the bass notes sound. Rich and mellow...
Although being a metal head, i absolutely love offsets. And this one shreds.
Beau travail à Marceau Guitars, je vais vous suivre attentivement!
Supercool video - and big respect to everybody who builds guitars by hand...
What a lovely lovely name for the guitar model - Heartbreaker". As an owner of 7 handmade guitar by single luthier Michael Sandén here in Sweden (NOT flexing, just.. understand what goes into making a guitar) I salute this effort and... you're so worth it Mary!
Why do you get from only one luthier when there are so many great ones?
According to the Marceau guitars homepage the model is called "Deferlante"
She will NEVER date you.
The building of this guitar not only looks like a work of art, you can see the pride going into the process of building it
Classy guitar, fits you perfectly. Not just a masterpiece build of a guitar but sounds even better then it looks!
Danke!

It’s so much fun to open a new guitar 🎸. I just got one two days ago and I haven’t been able to put it down. Rock on Mary.
I got myself a paoletti telecaster style guitar earlier this year. I LOVE IT. Hope you enjoy this new guitar as much as I like my Italian beauty
Body cut on a table saw, run through a jointer.

She's so beautiful!! I love seeing this kind of stuff. The care. The evolution. I wish I could "just" drop in to the UK and see you live. Much Aloha!!
It's absolutely beautiful. I hope you'll be posting some videos playing it because it's the sound that counts.
What an awesome thing!!! Love the guitar building process. And congrats Mary!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊😊😊🎵🎶🎸

Has to be the Lotus John Player F1 Special.
Aw me too, the Lotus John Player Special! I've not thought about it in 40ish years. But now I can almost smell it.
@ Yes! That was the name! Thank you. I’d forgotten what it was called.
Congrats on the new guitar. It looks and sounds amazing!! It definitely is in the right hands. Enjoy playing it on your tour.
Mary, what beautiful guitar. Your excitement was contagious.
Looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing. As a hobbyist I love watching other Luthier's work. Always something to learn.
The beginning of this. Opening that box with a pair of scissors. Better than Christmas morning as a kid. ! Oh, and that guitar is AMAZING. Wow.
Love the new guitar excitement. And the smell of a new guitar. Like how the fretboard was Plek'd before the frets were installed. For proper fall off and flatness. I really do enjoy hearing you speak about what you do. It's apparent that you love music. Thank you
Beautiful guitar. May your tour go well!
Thanks for sharing the process of making Marceau's guitars. Very nice guitar, profounds sounds. You're an artist, who knows about luthier.
That's the most beautiful guitar I've seen in a long time. Seeing a fraction of the building process was quite interesting. Hope it does you well and lasts for many years

That's a beauty for sure. The P-90s sound fantastic! I need a P-90 guitar now!
So cool! Wonderful combination of high tech and hands on to produce it.
Impressive build and workmanship, kudos to the company that makes these instruments. Personally I wouldn’t tint a roasted neck as over time it will achieve a warm color naturally but that’s just me being overly critical. I make a lot of guitars and very impressed with these guys. Well done.
It's mesmerizing to watch the whole process. Congratulations, this is a great guitar.
I like the way that song sounded on that guitar. Very clean. Congratulations.

@@soondubu. yeah, really dope choice on the JM pickups.
Definitely Jazz Master pickups. They "look" like a large version of a p90 soapbar pickup, but are totally different in sound and construction.
It's always mesmerizing to watch an instrument being made. This one looks amazing! Thanks for sharing the video!
I am from Singapore, and if I am having my holidays in UK, I want to make sure the dates will go along with one of your future shows.
What an amazing video Mary. You are so lucky to have a guitar made that is a part of you.
It simply looks amazing. The color, sound, the tones and that neck. Love it. 👍🏻
Amazing shop! Beautiful guitar! Covering the truss rod with shrink wrap... What an awesome idea. Thanks for sharing!❤

watching your beautiful guitar being made was one of the nicest guitar videos ive seen.

Marceau Guitars look fantastic and they are quite reasonably priced. Mary, there are many new songs to be discovered with a new guitar. Good Luck!
That is a stunning guitar! Congrats Mary and it looks and sounds perfect in your hands. Like you, I absolutely love gold hardware and there is something special to me about black and gold together….perfect❤
Your voice is a perfect narrator for such educational program show or documentary videos.
That is gorgeous, many happy years to you and Heartbreaker!
Congrats. Beautiful guitar. The grain on the neck is amazing.
Spectacular! What a beautiful work of art. Thank you for sharing this build process with us.
I don’t normally care for gold hardware, but it looks great here, very classy. Thanks for sharing the creation of this beautiful instrument with us!
Very dang nice Mary!!! Congratulations and thanks for sharing that beautiful process! Wishing you well!!!!❤
I build furniture for a living. I love watching people like these luthiers, that obviously take pride and care in what they build. May you have many years of enjoyment playing that work of art!
I’d be interested in seeing a video about how the headstock got broken on your tour and if/how they repair it. 😢
Holy Wow! He made a ' Long cool lady in a black dress '!!! Love it ❤
Awesome video Mary! and congratulations on your NGD!!! the guitar looks killer! 🙏
That looks amazing! And I could get it LH too. If only the timing were better. I’m sure the rest of them will find loving homes. Absolutely beautiful
Nice to see my daily work since 24 years😊 Looks like a very nice piece of work, sure you will create beautiful music with, Mary
Beautiful guitar! Matches the aesthetic of your album cover for sure!
Oh my days, it's a fine piece of art! What a guitar!
I love that the fret luthier is a Warriors fan! Oh yeah, nice guitar too…
I love your voice! How ever you mic yourself is superb.
What an amazing instrument...from start to finish...WOW! sounds beautiful too!
Thanks so much for sharing the build video and am looking forward to playing your album in my shop tomorrow. Cheers.
So nice to hear your music in the backgroud. It sound really great. And the mix is perfect. Your voice is nice and strong over the music. So I would love to have the instrumental version on a CD or on Spotify
Congratulations on the new guitar. Special for special🙏
Thanks for sharing this! I saw similar hi tech machinery at the Taylor factory, but still there is a lot of skilled, precise human hand work that the machines can’t do ( at least yet).
Beautiful! I love the gold-plated hardware against the black body.
Beautiful guitar Mary! Thanks for sharing the process
Hey, just got your new album, thanks a lot, very much looking forward listening to it!
