  • At the bottom of Punt Dal Gall dam, at 115 meters deep and after 50 years of operation, bottom outlet and intakes have to be rehabilitated for both power generation and water supply of downstream river
Hydrokarst is responsible for underwater work. For this project, divers worked at 115 meters depth which was a real challenge.
    Hydrokarst carried out:
    - Pumping and dredging work at great depth: -110 m, 2500 m3 of sediment
    - Hydromechanical work: design and installation of two packers - 15 and 14 tonnes
    - Underwater work on civil engineering structures a 110 m depth - Scouring / Anchors / Core drilling
    - Inspection of the bottom outlet tunnel
    SATURATION DIVNG:
Saturation diving equipment is property of Hydrokarst, specialized in deep diving interventions.
Once pontoons are set on the reservoir, the saturation diving system is installed on the pontoons. Chambers and technical units are connected to operate the saturation diving system.
One of the main components, the diving bell, insure the transfer of divers from living habitat on the surface to the work area at the bottom.
