    I have heard this particular story on a few other channels. I hope it grows in circulation for the faithful, and wake up those who are either lying to themselves (like I was until recently) saying that they are Christian but not practicing, or just those who may attend mass but are overcome by worldly pleasures. Jesus saves. God bless you all.

      Lukewarm doesn’t sound appealing according to the Bible and also in this experience: Revelation 3:15-16
      I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.

    Instead of returning to the teachings of the church, how about returning to the teachings of God’s Word?

    • @heroiclives1278
      @heroiclives1278  4 дні тому

      That’s a great question! The Catholic Church doesn’t see a contradiction between the teachings of the Church and the teachings of God’s Word-because the Church is the one that preserved, compiled, and safeguarded the Bible. In fact, it was the Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that canonized Scripture in the 4th century. Without the Church, we wouldn’t even know which books belong in the Bible!
      The Bible itself affirms the authority of the Church (1 Timothy 3:15: ‘the Church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth’). Jesus never wrote a book; instead, He founded a Church (Matthew 16:18) and gave it the authority to teach in His name (Luke 10:16, Matthew 28:19-20). The early Christians followed apostolic teaching, both in written and oral form (2 Thessalonians 2:15).
      So returning to the teachings of the Church means returning to the fullness of God’s Word, as understood and faithfully passed down since the time of Christ. Would love to hear your thoughts!

      You do not know or understand Catholicism. The faith is vast and complex. You have to do your homework . No one can stuff all of Catholicism in a little box to make it all make sense to you or others as you try to understand thjj in FS like this . And you can’t “debunk” when it all can’t be for to preserve t to you in that little box. You have a gigantic learning curve of yoj care to ever understand d WHY this is all orthodox.

    Putting Mary as the Merciful character and Jesus as just a stern God. How to corrupt the Gods Word? Just follow this way and You will reach the Hell.

    • @heroiclives1278
      @heroiclives1278  4 дні тому +1

      Dear @robertodavisilva73,
      I appreciate your concern and understand that you may see the emphasis on Mary’s intercession as a potential corruption of God’s Word. However, I’d like to clarify that the Catholic belief in Mary’s intercessory role is deeply rooted in Scripture and tradition, not an invention that detracts from Christ’s sovereignty.
      In the Davidic Kingdom, the mother of the king had a special position as the Queen Mother (Gebirah), who interceded for the people. This is evident in 1 Kings 2:19-20, where Bathsheba, the mother of King Solomon, approaches him with a request. Solomon not only listens but also seats her at his right hand, saying, “Make your request, my mother, for I will not refuse you.” Since Jesus is the ultimate fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant (Luke 1:32-33), His mother, Mary, naturally holds this role in His eternal kingdom.
      Mary’s intercessory role is also explicitly demonstrated at the Wedding at Cana (John 2:1-5). When the hosts run out of wine, Mary intercedes, saying, “They have no wine.” Even though Jesus initially replies, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come,” He still grants her request and performs His first miracle. This passage shows that Jesus listens to His mother’s petitions and acts upon them. Importantly, Mary’s words, “Do whatever He tells you,” prove that her intercession always directs people to Christ, not away from Him.
      At the foot of the Cross (John 19:26-27), Jesus entrusts His mother to the beloved disciple with the words, “Behold, your mother.” The Church has always understood this as more than a personal arrangement-it is Jesus establishing Mary as the mother of all believers. If Christ intended for His mother to care for us spiritually, why would we reject the idea that she intercedes for us?
      Further biblical support comes from Revelation 12:1-6, 17, where we see the vision of the woman clothed with the sun-a mother giving birth to the Messiah while being opposed by the devil. In Revelation 12:17, she is called the mother of all those “who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.” This passage affirms that Mary continues to play a maternal role for all Christians, which naturally includes intercession.
      The idea that portraying Mary as merciful somehow distorts Jesus’ nature misunderstands Christ’s own delegation of authority. Jesus is both just and merciful, and He Himself established Mary’s role. Her intercession does not replace Jesus’ mediation-it is part of the way God’s mercy reaches us. Just as Bathsheba interceded before Solomon, and just as Mary interceded at Cana, she continues to intercede today, always leading souls to Christ.
      I encourage you to reflect on these biblical passages and consider whether Jesus, in His love for us, would refuse to listen to His mother, just as Solomon did not refuse Bathsheba. Far from being a corruption of the Gospel, Mary’s role as intercessor is a fulfillment of biblical tradition, ultimately pointing to the glory of Christ, not taking away from it.
      God bless you, and I appreciate the discussion!
      Michael

Its an attempt to create something that The Bible doesnt teaches. Its pretty Common Catholics make this complicated assumptions about some texts but The simple Idea that The Bible simply ignores this type of importance to Mary puts It back down.
