    Hi, i bought this Samebike lo26 350w 10Ah for travelling to work, about 10 miles daily. So far i did 287 miles (461 km) and the bike is working fine. They are things that i don't like and you may need to change them if you buy one of these. The brake pads are cheap and very noisy, the tyres are ok but you will need something inside for puncture (anty puncture lier). The pedals definitely needs to be changed. Overall a good bike on this price. I don't think is made for ruff off road but if you go slowly may work.. I will come with a review video on 500 miles. Good luck...

    Great budget bike. You will have good times in urban comuting. Don't go off road so much. So far with exact same bike, I did over 9000 miles in 2 years comuting to work and back.
    Stuff that needed changing during this period were:
    Both tires (within first 2 months) 40 eur
    Front wheel (after 5 months) 30 eur
    Whole fork upgrade(after 1 year) 150 eur
    Mid suspension upgrade (after 1.5 y) 80 eur
    Chain change (after 1.5 year) 30 eur
    Re-bolting the motor bolts cause they wore out because of constant stress and vibrations. (Afyer 1.5 y) 30 eur
    Make sure u check all the bolts on the bike every so often.
    The bike is cheaply made,the price sincerely reflects the build, but it is enough if u are not stressing the bike and u use it normally on road...
    Safe comuting guys!!! 🚴⚡🚴

    About a year ago I bought the same SOMEBIKE LO26 bike. (The 500W version.) I hear the same loud knocking sound here at 4:46 on the forest road.
    I replaced the first telescope for a premium quality. Unfortunately this didn't stop the knocking sound ...
    The pedals are useless, after about 100 Km one of the bearings came in ... I threw them out.
    After 1800 Km I am satisfied with this bike, only the knocking noise should be eliminated.

      Csongrádi Péter yea that is the sound of the battery inside the frame housing rattling. You can wrap some strands of electrical tape around the top and bottom till it fits snug in the housing. Should help a lot.

    • @georgeme3246
      @georgeme3246 4 роки тому

      The knocking noise is probably the battery rattling on the inside of the frame.
      You have to put some cushioning round the battery.

I've just assembled my bike and not sure if I have a problem with it, when I ride and go over bumps I'm getting a noise from either the suspension or the head gear, like a knocking as if something Isn't tight enough with the head gear or the forks.. wondered if you ride yours over bumps if you get any noise from the handlebars, fork area or if its you get no noise please ?

      @@almostawesomewithwill9251 the noise from the front sounds like what I'm hearing in this video, hoping its loose battery in the frame, I will remove the battery tomorrow and see if it still does it without the battery. Is it possible then that something to do with the headset isn't set up or tightened in the factory then, is it just that one bolt at the top of the handlebars that's hold the handlebars and stem and forks together in place, when I took the top bolt out above the handlebars and applied the front brakes noticed the whole stem just rocket back and forth, I would of thought there would of been a nut further down the stem to hold the fork to the frame like on a traditional bike, but it doesn't seam to be the case, just one small Allen bolt at the top of the handlebars to keep everything in place, seams very odd to me..??

    I bought this bike based on this and other reviews and I'm quite pleased with it. I got the 500w spoke wheel version for 899 Euros off ebay. I bought the same rear air shock, raised the handlebar and replaced the crank with a 48 tooth and also the pedals. I even bought an extra 12.8 Ah battery for greater range. I recently rode up a mountain with 1558 meters of elevation and slopes of up to 13%. I sometimes get the E10 controller error, but I just pause for a few minutes to let it cool down. I think I could actually ride longer with the error, but so far have erred on the side of caution. On less extreme rides I'm getting 60km with 40% battery left when I get home. When the battery drops to 30% you won't be able to get up steep hills. I carry around the second battery when I think I might need it. It's not that heavy in my backpack. My next upgrade will be the front suspension. All in all a very good buy!
    It fits in my Skoda Superb trunk with some room to spare, but I take off the front wheel and put down the seats.
    Thanks for your videos!

    This looks very similar to an Ancheer model. I bought two three years ago. The Ancheer model had a 250 watt motor, the battery was mounted in a bag in the front of the bike. Otherwise, it was quite similar. I put 3000 miles on one of the bikes. My wife barely rode the other one. I had to repack the motor with grease after two years. I also replaced the battery with a cheap 12 mah battery I got from AliExpress. The bike was great. I got the upgrade bug this year and bought a Juiced bike. I got my wife the Lectric XP. I gave the two Ancheer bikes to my brother in law who has taken the time to fix both bikes up and loves them.

    Really good value bike. I'm enjoying mine a lot. I do mostly forest riding and its fine, but it's not for doing lunatic jumps as Will says. The rattle on the forks on my bike was caused by the top bolt on the stem not being tight enough. You'll have to slacken the handlebar bracket collar first, then adjust the stem bolt to remove slackness then re-tighten the bracket.
    My only real dislike is the lack of a power cable plug near the rear axle. This makes changing a rear tyre or inner tube a bit of a pain. I have done it indoors by cutting the cable ties and lifting out the wheel just enough to feed the tyre and tube through but wouldn't fancy doing this on the road with cold hands.
    Power ? Remember this is basically a pedal assist bike with a throttle override for occasional use. For me it's plenty. If you're looking for some serious power, buy a Triumph Rocket 3.

    Hi. I bought a 500W version of this bike from ebay to replace a previous one that had been stolen. I'm finding a lot of shortcomings on the new bike and the seller is kicking back on every issue I raise. First, I lose my chain just by backpedalling. On investigation I found that there are 12 "clicks" on the left thumb shifter. Surely there should only be 3 on a 21 speed bike???? Seller is saying the manufacturer supplies it with 12 settings. There were only 3 on the first one I had. Anybody happy to tell me how many they have please?
    Second problem is that the throttle gives me LESS power than the PAS level I'm using. On my other one I could happily ride along on PAS1 then just hit the throttle if I came to a small hill and get more than enough of a boost to get up the hill without having to increase the PAS level. On this new bike I get no help from adding the throttle. In fact, if I'm cycling on the flat and I hit the throttle then stop pedalling, the bike slows by about 3kph, on a small hill I can lose 5-6kph.
    Lastly, the s830 lcd. Can you think of any reason why I can't change well over half of the settings? I know that some are not supposed to be changed but I know for sure that I should be able to change P09 (zero/non zero start) and I can't, and I suspect that this might be the reason I'm getting such poor performance from the throttle. The only settings I can change are P01, P02, P08 AND P16. Is this a faulty unit or is there something I can do to make the other settings accessible to me?
    Sorry for asking so many questions in one go but I have a strong suspicion I've been sold a dud.
    One more question, this is directed mainly at the maker of the video but anyone with better hearing than mine might be able to help. About halfway through you recommend another electric bike. It sounds like you call the model a "blue spark" but I can't make out the maker's name and nor can my closed captions. Could you please tell me what bike you are recommending?

      wow lots of questions here haha, might need to get back to you on some of these. theres no manual included but you can get it easily online. the screen is the "s830" so just google that and it usually comes right up. i have the 350 watt version in the video, and it seems as though you cant get it to go faster than 18 mph. and that is not a set restriction i think thats all its got in it. however i know people with the 500 watt version have been able to increase the speed on it. theres a video on how to do this on youtube. i dont recall about the eu plug. but i dont think it came with it. however its probably based on where its shipped to. if your in the eu im sure they send it with the correct plug. as for speed, the 350 watt version as a road bike isnt all that fast compared to my other 500 watt bikes. you dont feel like its shooting you like a rocket. more like a horse is pulling you. however i suppose "fast" is relitive to what you consider fast. compared to a 250 watt bike, i suppose it should be faster, but unfortunately i dont have a 250 watt bike to compare to. as a trail or off road bike its speed is fine.

    I recently bought LO26 in Canada. I have few observations after riding it for 160 km in total. It may be not relevant to this video but just want to know whether everything is right with my bike or not. If you provide some guidance based on your experience then it would be highly appreciable. (This is my first electric bike)
    I have 500W motor option with batter of 48V-10Ah.
    I found that top speed is set to 20mph from control. Although when it is fully charged it can reach to maximum speed of 20mph (with my and backpack combined weight of 75 kg). But as batter start discharging it reduce the maximum speed drastically and drops to low as 13.5 mph when 25% battery charged. I also observed battery voltage sagging as it discharge. I made a table as below.
    Battery Charge Status
    100% 50% 28%
    Voltage drop during throttling (V) 0 3-4 4-5
    Battery % drop during throttling 0 20 25
    Maximum speed with load (mile/h) 18 14 13
    Maximum speed without load (mile/h) 19 16.3 15.5
    I want to know is it normal with E-Bike tendency of low speed and voltage sagging as battery discharge?

Standing and sitting are good. The bike is probably a little more nimble and easier to turn than the fiido. I dont have a fiido but i do have a lectric xp, and those 20” fat tires are fun and really good for commuting but give more of a scooter style. Also those folding bikes are best in sitting position. If i was taller than 6 ft i probably wouldnt be comfortable on a fiido.

    I've got two other questions if anybody can answer too, when I first switched my bike on today I got error 24, then error 22 I've no idea what they were about or for and the manual doesn't shed any light on what the problem was, went back out to my bike later and error cleared ??
    My next question is regarding the keys, I can't see mine do anything, can anybody shed any light on exactly there purpose and what they are supposed to do please , sorry if its a stupid question but only had the bike today..m

    Should i get this or The Lectric XP ?

    • @almostawesomewithwill9251
      @almostawesomewithwill9251  4 роки тому

      Poncheezy first i would suggest if we are going to be comparing, i would recommend comparing the 500 watt version of samebike. But it depends of your riding style. The lectric is a good cruising bike, with a very good amount of speed for the price, and has great customer service but without upgrading it, it doesnt give you a lot of stability if you want to drive a little more aggressively mainly because of the handlebar style. The samebike 500 watt version is pretty good amount of power and better stability out of the box. But you wont get much if at all customer service as it will depend of the third party your buying from (so make sure its a good third party). Also its full suspension ( with a cheap spring but can be upgraded later). So the answer isn’t exactly black and white. But for me i think the base of any good bike starts with the power and the lectric xp delivers that, and im the type that likes to tinker and upgrade parts to make it fit my style. So if i had to pick one bike then i would go with the lectric xp. But thats just my preference.

    Hi i need full suspension, comfort, fully electric, but not the folding. Are there any better bikes for me? For the same price

    • @almostawesomewithwill9251
      @almostawesomewithwill9251  4 роки тому

      yes unfortunately this is probably the cheapest full suspension electric bike out there. Of you didnt need full suspension, there are definitely other choices. Personally i rather have a better bike over all then have this bike. The full suspension isnt worth the sacrifice of the cheaper parts. Can you tell me why you need full suspension? Is it just preference or medically because of joint pains etc?

    • @almostawesomewithwill9251
      @almostawesomewithwill9251  4 роки тому

      The next best bike with full suspension in my opinion is the eahora am100. Even though its 350 watts people are saying their reaching speeds of 28 mph when the samebike i reviewed only reaches speeds of 18 mph (350 watts version) and it has a regenerative motor/battery. heres a link amzn.to/2XTYW6w

      Ben Leng what do you plan to use the bike for and whats your budget? I havent tried to put a motor on the front of any bike yet but i assume thats going to make the bike much heavier and use up twice the power. If you can afford to do that you can probably afford a better bike. If you give me some info on what your intended use is and budget, and perhaps your most important features i can try to see if there are better options.

      I sold it to a family member and as far as reliability it comes down to how your using it. Its not a quality bike and its not meant for anything more than driving on a sidewalk or road. I would recommend getting the 500 watt version if you must have it or go for the lextric xp.
