This Oakland, CA-based rap group was formed by Shock-G and Chopmaster in 1987. Tupac joined the group in 1990. He performed on two Digital Underground albums. Fun fact: Tupac Shakur joined Digital Underground as a backup dancer. (If you look closely Tupac can be seen on stage during this performance)

Side note Tupac is also on stage. The camera man never gets a direct shot of his face, but Pac has on green coat. He was one of the three guys in the beginning with the paper bag covering his face.
