That was when Tupac was with them, too. A baby-faced Pac singing backup in front of a deranged looking Dan Ackroyd playing the organ. The 90’s were wild…
Legend from back then was that Shock heard Tupac rhyme for the first time after he had already hired him as a dancer. He heard Pac rhyme "from the gut" and at that point he knew he had finally found a rapper so far beyond anything that he was capable, that he then knew he wouldn't have to fake competition anymore with himself and his alter-egos Humpty, Professor, etc.. And then, by the time Pac had shown what he could actually do in All Around the World, Shock then knew that Pac saw truth, and could both vocalize and rhyme in a.way that would never be repeated again in hip hop. He's put on a few pounds since then, lost the geeky glasses, and traded in his furry white hat for his trademark orange toupee. But he still loves fast food, and has fond memories of the time he "once got busy in the Burger King bathroom." Rich, powerful celebrities, politicians, and cult leaders are often tempted to abuse their power and status. Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, the late Mr. Jeffrey "Fantasy Island" Epstein and Keith Ranier of the NXIVM sex cult, rapper R. Kelly, and cult leaders like the "Good Reverends" David Koresh and Jim Jones. One of my close friends was almost recruited by a "talent scout" for the Reverend Jim Jones. Lucky for her she decided against trying for a career in Show Biz. The "Global Elite" and their servants in politics, government and the media usually deny sexual "hanky-panky" through their lawyers and press agents. Bill "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton denies with his own lips visiting the late Jeffrey Epstein's "Fantasy Island." According to "Page Six" of "The New York Post," Ronan Farrow's book about alleged "sexcapades" at the network has NBC News leadership "quivering in their suits"...and maybe wetting their pants?....NBC is not alone: Execs at FOX spent $34 MILLION in "hush money" for the blonde Harvard lawyer who accused Bill O'Reilly of sexual harassment. Those billionaire media moguls need to learn the value of a dollar. For that $34 million, they could have had over THREE MILLION bl*w j*bs.... Have any of the alleged participants in these #METOO scandals taken a lie detector test? If so, what were the results? To avoid wasting all that cash on lawyers and hush-money payoffs, and to settle these #METOO sex scandals once and for all, may I suggest a "Final Solution"?: invite ALL participants to appear on "Jerry Springer" or "Steve Wilkos" or "Maury" or "Lauren Lake's Paternity Court" and take those DNA and polygraph exams, so we "great unwashed masses" of couch potatoes in the TV audience can see who the REAL "Baby Daddy" is! But I have GOOD NEWS: There's a spot waiting for YOU and your colleagues in the #METOO Rogue's Gallery in Stuart ("Me, Al Franken") Smalley's 12-step self-help program for sex addicts. On the Big Day-the "climax" of Stuart's program- proud graduates can prance across the stage in their caps and gowns and say, "Doggone it, people LIKE ME!" and savor a truly Fine El Presidente' Cigar (tm)..... or perhaps a Fine Elle Monica Cigar (tm), with the patented Latex Tip (c) to protect against exposure to disease-infected bodily fluids, in these troubled times of COVID-19, herpes, AIDS, HPV, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, Zika, and Ebola. El Presidente' (tm) and Elle Monica (tm) Fine Cigars: "Safe Sex, Safe Smoke." (c)

Always like funk hiphop
That bass is filthy AF
F Mills yeeeeees, would bust your speakers
Yeah, that bass line just grabs your kiwis, don't it!? How he make that sound? I was trying to see what he was playing (might have just been a recorded sample/loop) but I couldn't tell. I could zoop it kinda like that on my bass guitar, but...eh...not really....need a synth(!)
Dmx
Yup
This sampled
Let's Play House by Parliament
Arranged By [Vocals], Producer - Walter Morrison
Keyboards - Bernie Worrell
Bass synth line no doubt laid down by Bernie.
Back in the day when all music did was make you feel good and want to dance...thank you Shock G.
Absolutely one of the best songs ever recorded!! RIP Shock
Hello! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day. Stay Safe
Me & sister's favorite party hit!!
With this song, Digital Underground made an immediate impact on hip hop. They brought us 2Pac, but even on their own, Digital Underground was doing their thing. Definitely brought their own flavor. Shock G was the main ingredient of this flavor and he will be missed.
Rest In Peace to a legend Shock G!! He gave Tupac his start to stardom; who went on to be a world icon!!
Yeah, he must've been destroyed when Pac died 💔 😪 I'm so sorry he's passed too.
Oh yeah I'm watching all eyes on me as we speak
He also produced a lot of his songs before he went to death row
May you live forever Humpty.
Shock G is still alive so humpty isint dead
@johnson smithson trump has nothing to do with this
johnson smithson I know Eazy e died from aids in 95 but shock g is dead ???

LaTonya Winkley Thanks, I was just about to say that. CHUMP....Y is he in all conversations?
Youngsters don't know how the club rocked. 55 and still Hip Hopping.
Relax, Boomer.

Imagine hearing this the first time radio played it in your city. Of course we snapped. Some things you never forget. R.I.P. Shock G and Tupac
Fuck yeah.
You got it.
Peace.
The fact that he's his own background singer at 1:27-1:32, a freakin genius

The guy who started Tupac’s legacy, THANK YOU SHOCK G 💯✊🏾
Facts, 💯
Kevin R Nothing to be proud about
Indeed
I read this as "The guy who started Trump's legacy." All I could think was "Do the Trumpty Trump!"
You're wrong on everything
Can't believe Shock G is dead. Thank you for introducing the world to Tupac. #RIPShcokG
That was my dude
It wasn't a house party til they dropped this song. Then it got bangin'. Remember the times!!
Oh damn. You're with Tommy Boy the old label? You guys are legendary. House of Pain, de la soul, brand Nubian, Naughty by Nature and NY freestyle!! I still have one of your shirts from the promo days. Yo brought joy to many fans
I still be playing this jam its still a tight jam
The late 80's were F'n amazing.
randyc750 Early 1990s, too. 😏🌺❤️
NWA
Yep. It is time to do music again.
Late 90s was when things began to go south. Today's music will not stand the test of time.
RIP. The beauty of this song: funny lyrics, great diction where you can understand him, he's not glorifying stereotypical drug-dealer behavior. Timeless classic.
all true, and the music is awesome, the beat and that bass line is a massive hook
It's just funny and makes me want to dance
You should learn a little (a lot) about black history. "Glorifying drug dealing behaviour.." Some pple shouldn't be allowed to listen to rap.
@@MissBettieS you must not be familar with rap--much of which glorifies drug dealing and pimping.
I miss roller skating to this song when I was 14 , I'm 45 now
I was literally dancing to this song in my kitchen two hours before the news came out. Rest easy Humpty Hump.🕊 🙏🏼
I was playing this for some of my students just last week to school them on real rap. LOL! I also played for them the song he sampled the Humpty Dance from....Let's Play House by Parliament. RIP

R.I.P Shock G
My first rap concert was paid for by Shock G. That is where I met Tupac Shakur. In The Limo that Shock G showed up in at my childhood house in Bear Lake, Indiana!
Rest in Power Shock G AKA Humpty! So much influence and inspiration from your tunes.
PAC and Mac Dre rest and peace
We still bump this shit everyday at work

Rip shock. Never will get tired of that bass kicking in.
Rest in peace Humpty Hump, now Tupac is your back up dancer in heaven
I'd hope Tupac would have moved up in rank by now.
@@gregquinn7817 yea lmao. Respect tho
😂LOL 🙏
Tupac is one of the Goats 🐐 So if anything, they are sharing the stage equally. You got extra time on your hands, why don't you go be a back up dancer. I hear little Nas x is hiring.
🙏🏾😢
The way he flow is sooo oit of this world the word play metaphor is top tier 💯
Listening to this after hearing about Shock G’s passing. DU was one of the best rap groups of all time, and he was brilliant.
Man why can't they make music like this anymore! RIP Shock G!
Facts. The 90s music and rap music was way better. In fact millenials are still listening and partying to this genre of music and rap. More so than the current so call music & rap😄
No talent today...or taste....or both
Check out Ray West. You might like him for sure ua-cam.com/video/JUYRvMB-5V4/v-deo.html
