Someone already recommend boss checklist so I'll skip that. Calamity reworks all the basic ore armors to have new stats and set bonuses so even stuff like copper and tin armor are good now. The robotic enemies are "Wulfrum Mechs" which drop Wulfrum scrap metal and energy cores which makes a lot of interesting early game stuff. You'll notice a bunch of the modded items function much differently than vanilla stuff and the Wulfrum equipment is a good showcase of that and it might be important to get used to the fundamental differences they have sooner rather than later. Showing normal materials, bars or weapons to the guide is also a good idea since you'll find they can be used to craft many new items that you may want to use. A lot of vanilla items that are normally uncraftable can be crafted now too, like the Aglet and Radar which you saw. Lastly for now, be careful about trying to reach the ocean on the dungeon side of the world, it might not be what you expect.
For these types of videos, such as gameplay, I usually prefer them being on the longer side (but not too much), just because it feels like I'm chilling with someone who's playing idk Also, the cuts and speedups of boring parts are appreciated Cool video, will follow the series
Tip: if you want to defeat all of the bosses then you shall prepare for the last one from the start. in calamity worlds there are 6 (probably) main labs and lots of mini labs. the main labs are located in the air right in the middle of the world. the other labs are on the edge of Underworld, Underground Tundra, the Jungle, Caverns, and ?????? sea (wont spoil that for your first experience), the stuff you get from main labs can be very useful (many great weapons and tools). the thing you want to get whenever you can is a black blacksmith-like structure that has 1 slot inside if you right click it, gather as many of them and replace all of them near your base and forget about them (one factory will make 9999 ????? items in about 100 real hours). Second tip: Explore the sky whenever you can, after defeating some pre-hardmode boss there will be a new ore spawned on all sky islands.
20 of grambstones near each other would make you a biome, recognizable by mist. It dosnt change a lot, but there ghosts will spawn and some NPCs will sell specific stuff. But it would be easier if you remove gramstones after yourself. Also its from Terraria and not Calamity as I remember
About long episodes, I mean, videos like this, that takes ~20 minutes are nearly perfect, because when you do it too long, sometimes, it makes less comments and talks, which are also important parts of your videos
I’d recommend getting the Boss Checklist and Recipe Browser mods, they’re pretty huge helps for figuring out how it all fits together
I already recorded episode 2 of this but I’ll definitely check this out for episode 3 onwards because I have seen a lot of people use it for this!
I don't know if you have it but I will help you to have the magic storage mod
Your editing is incredible, especially for a channel of your size
Hey Ender! Just wanted to say I am loving your videos, you’re so entertaining and just keep doing you bestie!!!
