I'm on my second one in about a decade, I lost the first one during a house move and recently bought a second, they're a really great beater watch, cheap, easy to read, comfortable to wear and accurate time tellers. What more could you ask for?!
That's a cool little field watch, and the lume is amazing, but what else would you expect from Seiko Lumibrite! Great review, Simon! I'll check it out!
20 quid?! That’s a great watch at £40, so definitely an easy pull. I’ve seen this watch around, including on Adrian’s channel, and have always liked it. I’m one for the “pants” section of it being too small, though. But I want a full lume dial field watch. I’m thinking about Bertucci, so I can get a larger diameter. But if this fits your wrist, you simply can’t beat it!
This a really good watch mate and I can’t believe I nabbed one for £20, crazy. What is the model number of the racing chronograph? I’ll check it out. Thanks for watching my man 👍👍
I’ve got one of these suits my small wrist perfectly strap it comes with is not good, battery life has been good lasted 20 months so far wear it to work great video
I have this I have this watch myself and it's all as claimed in this review. I bought it as a spare watch for when out working etc and don't want to ruin the expensive one. However I now use this all the time as it's so good and comfortable.
My wife runs a small watch emporium on eBay and got one of these in a job lot, with no back. Found a watch back that fitted, stuck a battery in it and off we went… IMHO this is an absolutely belting beater watch and the lume is insane. Really simple and clear day/date. Stuck it on a sand coloured nato as the stock strap didn’t fit (I am a gorilla in the wrist). Astonishing value. Great work mate
I’d agree and would be happy to get a job lot of these myself, a really great affordable watch, no doubt. Thanks for watching Chris and have a great weekend 👍👍
Think I payed £25 for mine and it’s my work beater watch, carnt beat it for the money, and I have put mine thro hell and it keeps going, I did put a canvas strap on it 🤙🏻 Good review 👍👍
Killer deal Nice score as well I'm sure your son will enjoy it for a long time and should get him hooked on watches Thanks for sharing your thoughts as always my friend 👍
@@WatchtheTime I forgot to mention Have you thought of reviewing either Thorn or Tandorio watches both have interesting offers at fair prices I've picked up Tandorio's w/PT5000 movements a bit over 100$ and an awesome Thorn doxa homage and couldn't be happier with them Looking foward to your Christmas videos Thanks Again My Friend 👍
Thanks for the recommendation mate, I have reviewed some of their pieces before but will be sure to have a look at some of their newer offerings. Top man 👍👍
Argos still sell these for £30, a silly price for such a good watch. Mine has a pop off back for some reason which is a bit of a pain to get off but it is possible with the right tools
Had this watch but band started to fray and got funky cracking watch though light and easy to read the pd root beer I bought is great nice specs for price but finishing can be miss matched .
Sorry to hear about the strap but it is pretty easy to change out. Thanks for the update on the Root Beer and I know what you mean about finishing - inconsistent. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
I bought one of these to replace a Seiko SNK809 - great watch but the combination of crap water resistance and an auto movement without hand winding makes the Lorus a better everyday work watch to me. Just make sure you get the version with the screw down case back, instead of the snap on version.
Mine only glows for about 10 minutes heavily in the dark before it turns into a glowing blob. It will glow all night but becomes unreadable. Cant see the numbers or hands. Does yours do this?
Good question and in my opinion; given the watch is 100 meters and not a diver, with a screw down caseback which can be touch tightened (don’t over tighten) I think it would hardly touch the integrity of the WR. Thanks for watching my friend 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime I thought they just went up to 28 that’s brilliant better than a Rolex haha so does it know what month it is? Do I need to set it some how? Do they make one with black bezel? thanks I’m going to buy one one tomorrow £24.99 from Argoose 😂

How can you go wrong with a watch like this, fantastic value..It would make a good gift for young kids as a starter watch.
Most definitely mate, I gave it to my son and he loves it 👍👍
Thanks for the shoutout bro 🙌 these are an absolute banger of a watch & picking one up for 20 quid is a proper result. 👍👍
All good my brother and thank you for bringing this banger one to my attention 👍👍

Very true about the lume mate. This is a cracker and very difficult to fault for the price. Thanks for watching my man 👍👍
Took mine camping this weekend on the South Downs. Have it on a black tropic strap. The hands hit the seconds markers perfectly!
Nice one. It’s a great watch for the price, no doubt - thanks for the mate 👍👍
Awesome lil piece, I use mine as a bedside timepiece on a stand, glows all night! 👌😎
It’s a lume MONSTER, no doubt mate 👍👍

Definitely and Bertucci do some cracking watches as well mate. Thanks for watching and I hope you’re well man 👍👍
Great find Simon! It's selling for 60 pound on Amazon Canada at the moment. Lorus makes a retro style racing chronograph I've had my eye in for ages.

Incredibly good value watch and on mine even the second hand hits the markers spot on.
It’s a cracker mate and made even sweeter when the second hand hits the markets - enjoy 👍👍

For £20 that’s a very good deal. I’ve got a couple of Lorus watches and they’ve run fine for years.
Nice review, thanks.
For 20 quid you most definitely can’t go wrong and I’d say even for £40 it’s a very good watch. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
Great watch in all conditions

I’ve just stuck a battery in a 30 year old one and it works .i also don’t have the case back
That is some achievement and really shows how hardy and durable their movements are 👍👍

If you forget our watch addiction for a sec, this is a watch to get blindfold, simple as that.
Cheers Simon, be well mate.
Shines like a torch mate, no doubt. Thanks for watching and I hope you’re well 👍👍
Cool small bright watch.
But link goes to Timex Ironman ;-)
Thanks for that Tomesz - I just changed it 👍👍
Brilliant watch. In fact exceptional for the price 🤓👍👍👍
I completely agree mate 👍👍
the lorus lumibrite and the HELM H1 hydrodurance are the best full lume dial watches that i have ever experienced
Fair enough. I do intend to get a Helm in for review in the future. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
Nice editing!
I appreciate that bro, thank you 👍👍
TopTip: the steel bracelet from a Casio digital watch (A168 etc.) fits it nicely.
Great stuff - thanks for that mate 👍👍

Good spot mate - yes 👍👍
Me, my son and my grandson all have one 😊
Nice one mate - a true family affair 👍👍
Cracking watch nice job 👍 😊

Wearing a bit tight at 8.40. Need to be able to slip a finger underneath. Avoids prem wear and blue hands. 😊
Thanks for that mate 👍👍

I agree. I really like those Seiko’s but the 7s26 is a draw back, a legend for the time but still, a draw back. Good advice with the caseback too 👍👍

What happens to the water resistance when the battery is changed? My previous watches have been eco drive or mechanical. Thanks.

I've just bought one for £30. Great watch! My local Argos had one in stock, so there was no delay.
Good buy there Terry, you won’t regret it - Enjoy 👍👍
🧐Nice watch it’ll keep better time than a Rolex..and you won’t get robbed . 😜
Very good point plus… No waiting list 😊
Great little watch, does the date go above 28 or not?
It sure is Roy and yes, it goes up to 31 as you’d expect. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍

@@WatchtheTime do they make one with a black bezel? if not do you know a model with the same lume? Thanks
I can’t say I’ve seen that tbh mate, sorry
Seems to hit the indices. Nice lume. Not as common in the US.
It’s a little beauty and a very affordable one at that. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
Just picked this up today frpm argos.. 30 pounds
Great pick up mate - enjoy 👍👍
NOT a NATO strap. That's a zulu strap and that's all this watch needs. It won't slide off the strap because it just doesn't weigh enough to do that.
Thanks for the info mate and for watching - happy new year 👍👍
Helllo test lume please
As I said on my previous video, please watch and you will see that I bring the lume up 👍👍
Your arm is to big for that kind of watch 😂
Indeed it is 👍👍
